Visited with my dad for a Valentine's weekend lunch, and Sam was great. My dad has a gluten allergy, and Sam was very knowledgeable about what he could and couldn't have, as well as very personable and friendly. And our food was tasty, too! Highly recommend the spicy mango margarita.
Have eaten Jersey Mike's in Arizona and the gluten free bread is outstanding. Just had one in LaCrosse Wisconsin and the gluten-free bread is worse than styrofoam.
I want to say "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!" to Becky for going to great lengths to make sure I can enjoy a great meal out without the worry of my food allergy to Gluten, I have Celiacs.
Great food. Loved that they had gluten-free options. Friendly server who ensured that the kitchen avoided my allergy items. The atmosphere was updated and fresh. Highly recommend ๐
This is one of my favorite places! Great food, service and atmosphere. They also have Gluten-free pasta upon request. Their spicy chicken penne is to die for. ๐
Disgusting!!! Every horizontal surface was filthyโ the food prep counter, the tables, the high chairs. When I told the gentleman working the counter that my daughter and I had a gluten allergy, he visibly shuddered and then was upset when he had to re-make the bowl that he dumped an entire ladle of hot sauce on even though I had requested it for the other bowl. We will never be back!
Staff is always friendly. I order a gluten free bun and I've gotten it once where it was frozen and other times it's okay. Like most places though, if going through drive through I have to assemble my own sandwich when getting GF bun.
I ordered a burger on the menus that was marked โGluten Freeโ(one of the 3 burgers that were specifically marked gluten free.) When the burger arrived it was served with deep fried onions on it. I fortunately saw it before I took a bite and was able to ask the waitress it they were indeed gluten free as stated on the menu. She came back said they unfortunately were not. She was super apologetic and got me a new burger and it came out quick! My only reason for writing this review is just to warn other gluten-avoiding people to just ask before you order! Even if itโs marked gluten-free. They had amazing GF buns though!
I wasn't expecting much given its sushi in a relatively small town, but I was very impressed! They had gluten free soy sauce, which is a necessity for us, but the staff was alert and knowledgeable enough to leave a sauce off one of the rolls we ordered, since it wasn't GF. Their special rolls were creative and unique, and the execution of everything was great! Knife work was great, ratio of rice to fish in the nigiri was perfect. I'm looking forward to trying the teppanyaki table on our next visit.
If you're like us and go through La Crosse on a long drive regularly but have been disappointed by the dining options, definitely put this at the top of your list.
Absolutely phenomenal food! They had gluten free Walleye and it was so good and the coleslaw was the best ever!
Service was excellent.
Atmosphere was great.
We waited a long time, they said it would be 30 minutes and it was almost an hour ...
My wife and I had lunch today at this location in Onalaska. I was ill before we departed the site. My wife was ill within the hour. Questionable quality and preparation of the food. Little to no acceptable gluten options at this national food chain. For bread, they offered wheat, white, sourdough and another. Yet, you cannot offer a gluten-free? You can buy a loaf of gluten free bread in any grocery store. This was a failure for a major national restaurant chain.
