Excellent seared duck breast. The French onion soup was good but unremarkable. We couldn't figure out what was "wrong" with the focaccia bread until we realized it was gluten free - dry and dense. Desserts were excellent. On the whole, a good dining experience and worth another shot
i have never been disappointed with my visits to sweetly. they're food is absolutely delicious and their are many gluten free options. the coffeeis equally as good, and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. its a nice place to sit for a few hours and read a book. my go to coffee spot :)
I really enjoyed eating g here with my dad and sisters a few months ago. It was a charming little place, and their Gluten-free crepes were excellent. I highly recommend this place for good service and their awesome GF options!
Gluten free options and knowledgeable. You can’t have the chips. I had the steak verde enchiladas and they were amazing! Had to go back 2x in one week! 👏🏼
I have always loved this restaurant for its exquisite cuisine, so I suggested to my husband to go for New Year's Eve dinner. But something went wrong. The room was so noisy that the waiter could barely hear me. The lobster bisque had mussels added, which ruined the whole taste. The scallop was impossible to chew. We ordered foie gras, but it turned out to be a pate. The dessert was very mediocre. The beef and lamb were the best. Despite the fact that the diet was discussed in advance, there was no gluten free option at all. Disappointment
Amazing umami from start to finish. What a gem in Coupeville! They were completely booked, but we figured we’d stop by and see if there was availability for 4. They had one table left and promptly seated us. We had the octopus, which was the most flavorful and perfectly cooked – crunchy char on the outside and tender on the inside. We also had the prawn and mushroom risotto – every bite was exquisite. The gnocchi had a spicy sausage cream that was just garlicky enough. The beet salad was perfectly balanced with a unique tasty beet that resembled tuna sashimi in appearance but tasted like a hearty beet. If you’re watching your sodium intake, however, the tamari seasoned brussels sprouts may not be your jam. The beignets, gluten free chocolate cake and chai tea ice cream were melt in your mouth delicious. Service was impeccable – friendly, timely and extremely attentive even with a fully packed restaurant.
We had the pate, duck confit and watermelon salad. The pate was great and the server was very accommodating to bring us extra bread and gluten free options. The duck confit was perfectly cooked and fell off the bone and the watermelon salad was one of the best I’ve ever tried.
I would literally drink their blue cheese aioli with a straw. Absolutely drool-worthy. We enjoyed their super fun mixed drinks and amazing views! Service was excellent. The homemade pickles were spicy! And they accommodated Gluten Free!!
Good food. Fun view where you can see the boats come in. Accommodate my celiac well, have not gotten sick and have eaten here 2-4 times.
Only 4 stars because I requested a window seat that was open but was denied because somebody already checked in. Even though no one was sitting there 🤷🏼♀️
