I had such a wonderful experience, here! I love being able to have fried things and know it isn't going to bother me, as I need gluten free. I shared truffle Parmesan Brussels, green chili queso Brussels, and the hot honey and sage sweet potato fries. All were stellar, though I might ask for no additional salt at the end at future visits. Ordered in for takeout, which was very quick! My main qualm is that I ordered a gluten-free bun, but they gave it to me frozen, wrapped in a plastic bag. I asked if they could heat it up, but they have a policy that they can't open the bag for the customers and they don't have a microwave. This is very inconvenient, I ordered fast food so I could eat it, not to have to need to find a microwave. I'm sure it will taste good, once it defrosts, you know.

Always fast even with long lines! I found out by asking & googling that they have gluten free chicken sandwich that they keep the bun & chicken separately from regular products so no cross contamination occurs. My mom has Celiac disease & has to have all things she eats gluten free. A lot of her food is just so bland & awful but a lot of restaurants are now serving gluten free options that even I have tried & taste great! Chick-fil-A is one of the few we can take her to that she goobles up! She brought me to the very first Chick-fil-A built in Hammond, LA long ago! We have always been a fan of the Christian company & support them. The employee's super nice, happy, & try to make ur day better which is a breath of fresh air in our crazy multitask world! Kudos to the owner who started this business back when I was a teenager. Kudos for closing on Sunday's so families can attend church & give thanks to the one & only God. SS probably has the best "fast food" burger and fries!!! Especially the double cheeseburger. The bun is incredibly soft (and gluten free!) And the condiments are thick sliced and fresh, love the pickles.
Plus, the crinkle cut fries are really good. I like that it's only potatoes and salt meanwhile mcdonalds fries have chemicals and a double digit number of ingredients.
SS will be my new go to for burger and fries. I don't care if it's 2 dollars more than other places, the quality is far superior. Much effort (seemingly) has been made to ensure they use the fewest chemicals, preservatives, and poisons which is important to my family.

A favorite lunch family go to! I only took one star off for service. I picked up my order a month ago and they mistakenly put soft tacos in the kids meal. Edit - I was a little disappointed at my last visit. The child's meal was expensive and not warm enough. It also didn't taste good- not even my husband liked it and he hardly ever passes up chicken strips. His sandwich was also pretty bland and not served fresh- it tasted a lot like something you get from a vending machine without much flavor wise.
I had the salad bar which was tasty, but was disappointed in only getting one trip and not having much selection. I also didn't get a plate until tm after my family got n their meals, so they ended up waiting a long time for me to finish.
I may go there by myself next time just for the salad bar but will get it togo for sure.
