Great to take the family for a lunch after a long morning of activities. Gluten friendly, healthy and entertaining with games while you wait for food. A cocktail on the side, great way to end a long weekend in the mountains.
Great sandwiches but way overpriced. I was going to order 2 gluten free sandwiches . With delivery, tax and tip it came out to $46. I don't know who can justify two 7 inch sandwiches for that price!!
Very hit or miss at this shake shack with gluten free orders. I have never been given an order with gluten but the quality of the gluten free buns is a lottery. the last few times I have been, the buns were cold (not reheated or toasted) and crumbled. as someone being gluten free for a long time, either don't freeze the buns before serving them or double the time that you toast them. ideally, don't freeze them, toast them, and serve it hot with the burger
Smaller portions, but cheaper food. Vegan dogs are sometimes good, but burned my food 2nd time around. It’s not good if you’re gluten free, but like it because it’s nostalgic.
I ordered the gluten free nuggets and I immediately started vomiting after eating them. I typically am ok with cross contamination I only get this sick if I eat gluten. I think they gave me the wrong order or it wasn’t gluten free.
Good spot, just have to be extra mindful. I asked if a bread was gluten free and the girl at the counter asked someone else in spanish if it was gluten free and then told me it was. I’m glad the ingredients were on there with the first thing being wheat. So, it wasn’t actually gluten free. I’m not trying to come down on anyone, all the people were nice, but some of them didn’t seem to really care too much. Some allergies can get people sick, it’s unfortunate, but it happens. I feel like if a company advertises something that caters to other people that have specific allergies, like gluten, then I think it’s important for a company or people working at that company to at least care about what they are giving people.
I'm gluten free not by choice and every time I eat there I'll get some kind of gluten-free bagel with cream cheese or some kind of gluten-free bagel sandwich. They now have gluten-free burrito wraps and they make the best burrito breakfast sandwich! Their chorizo is awesome. They always ask if it's an allergy and they always change their gloves. I have never had a problem there in the 6 years that we've been living here. They're so friendly and very kind. I've been to the one on 28th Street and the one up by ideal market. Very impressed!
