My husband and I had just flown in from Oahu and were both feeling hungry. Whole Foods in Maui was our first stop, as it's our go-to for healthy, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly options. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the service and helpfulness of the staff.
Since I wasn’t familiar with the layout of this particular store, I asked one of the clerks for help. He was incredibly kind and took the time to personally guide me to the items I was looking for. Although I didn’t catch his name, I truly appreciated his patience and went back into the store later hoping to find him and thank him again but couldn’t find him to note his name for my review. (I did thank him in the moment though!)
We then stopped by the hot buffet area, and John at the deli counter was just as friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We also picked up some fresh pre-made sushi platters, which were delicious.
At the checkout, we were greeted by Drew, who handled our transaction with a smile, and Shirley, the bagger, who was so enthusiastic and kind. Their upbeat attitudes really stood out! It’s rare to find such consistently positive and welcoming staff in one place, and it made our first hour on Maui that much better!
Whole Foods Maui truly made a lasting impression on us, and we’ll definitely be back during our stay!
