Our family have a lot of health issues and we need to eat vegan/gluten free meals and this place is a godsend. If you even ask the lady behind the counter to make some meals for later in the week that you like she will def do so. Everything is natural and well labeled. The staff is very friendly as well. And its not too far from my house. I would recommend this to anyone needing to eat healthier for cheap.

I used to enjoy coming here. Food options are still good if you're a vegetarian and/or need gluten free items; however, the feel I get from Staff isn't the same as it used to be over the years. It was actually a fun experience in the past. I got a free re-usable bag once for being a good sport when they were goofing off. Now, I feel as though I'm in the way of them stocking shelves while just trying to shop which is ironic as they wouldn't need to stock if no one shopped...anyway. When I went to check out a bit before 3:45 PM today, I was waiting and didn't see an older male cashier had an open line. He rolled his eyes at me and waved me over in an irritated fashion for what I guess was 5 whole seconds it took me to see his line was open. I suppose that put me in a category of not deserving a "Hello" or any word whatsoever. I wished I would have said, "No thank you, I'd rather wait how ever long it takes to be checked out by someone that isn't seething hostility", but I didn't and am instead writing this not so good review.

Went there because I was told they had gluten free bagels! I got the everything type and a loaf of Multigrain gluten free bread and gluten free blueberry muffins too! I also got a Asian salad that was being shared in tasters...it was delicious!

I love Trader Joe’s and just had the best experience in there. I cashed out with someone with the name “D, Daisy” at least that is what my recipe says. They were so nice. I highly recommended this location. A young lady also went in the back and got a box down for something that was in the back and out of stock up front and I appreciate this as a gluten free girlie.

Good options but everything marked up 50% to 100% compared to other stores. Also as someone with Celiacs disease seeing their bulk department have the wheat flours in the pour bins above the scoop bins of products I wish to purchase and seeing the contamination is extremely irritating. Maybe try and consolidate your bulk department of all similar allergen materials to make sure your store is as woke as you sell it to be with all that extra revenue from your raised prices.

Do you have VERY specific food desires? Then this is your place! Need that flavorless gelatin protein for your preggy wife, they got it. Need a juice that has thyme and cilantro, they got that too! Need a super specific gluten free flour and the online wont get it to you fast enough, no problem!

Always clean. Love the variety of gluten free products. Great produce, fresh meats, and bakery. But when they remoldel they quite carring the fresh breads. Oh, and their cheeses are very good.Also, they are the only place I can find my kelp tablets. Giant Eagle also had them, but they closed the stores and moved back to Pennsylvania. Great choices in the vitamins and frozen foods. It's always a good time looking at things there.

Walked into more of a boutique than a store with delicious smelling delights and beautifully arranged displays to make any foodie happy. . My daughter immediately noticed the Carousel Cafe that offered breakfast items. But this was only the beginning of the plethora amount of fresh cooked or baked goods, sweets and available produce for purchase. It is a boutique store, so it has specialty items at boutique prices but well worth it for the quality. My husband was impressed they had prime cut steaks and meats along with seafood such as the king crab leg at $50/lb. I was happy to find a variety of gluten-free products from fresh baked goods to boxed items. We love mushrooms and appreciated their variety displayed. Also had a wine and beer bar too but was closed upon our arrival, Sunday evening. We are not from around the area but well worth the look around as we passed through. Update 7/7/24.. still a great place to shop for my specialty items. Love this store! Need one closer to me in Cincinnati!

Earth fare has a great variety of healthy foods. They have great sales and coupons almost daily. Sign up for the healthy rewards and start earning points to save up for future uses. Bring your own bag and earn extra points. Employees are usually nice and very helpful, you may have one on a bad day but they are human with personal lives that can't always be left at home. There are plenty of options for celiac, vegan, and just natural foods. It is pricey but it's the only one in the upper states. I'd rather support a small business than a local walmart.

This is one of my favorite places to stop in, eat and shop. Truly one of a kind. They also have gluten-free bread for their sandwiches which I truly appreciate. Evruthing I've eaten here has been delicious. I also love how many healthy/clean products they sell here. The store is clean and run like a well-oiled machine. The coffee here is also delicious. Visited the West Side Market today for the first time. Because I am gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and avoid everything artificial, meaning.no artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners, I knew it would be a shot in the dark finding anything I could safely eat. But I was pleasantly surprised when I found this merchant all tucked away in the corner. It is called AlmondBetter. And my oh my, my eyes lit up when I saw their sign posted saying that it was gluten-free, dairy-free, VEGAN , etc. I got so excited because I am never this lucky. The products that they sell are a hummus made with almonds, not chickpeas. I tasted the samples. OMG!!! They had a special where you save money when you buy two. I purchased the chipotle and sweet beet. Got back home and couldn't wait to sit down and devour them. I decided to eat.a little of both flavors with Simple Mills Sea Salt crackers. And yes!! It was so delicious! Tomorrow I will eat the hummus with celery and carrots. I am so happy I found AlmondBetter and can't wait to buy more.

I visit every time I'm home seeing family and truly I wish I could pick one of these Heinen's up and transplant it to Kentucky. I miss having such an extensive selection of gluten free, tea (best find last trip was Republic of Tea Stress Supress - fantastic 💗), alcohol (incredible selection and knowledgeable staff!), health and well being (they had FOUR brands and many varieties of electrolyte powders/tablets!), the deli, and the bakery. This last trip I brought several coolers and zippered dry bags to transport the bounty back to my Kentucky farmstead.

Really great gluten free offerings! We absolutely loved the food we got and having gluten free Mac and cheese available is 😍 The coffee is also delightful and I was impressed with all the flavors they had to offer. Staff was great and the building is beautiful! Handicap accessible and parking available as well. Definitely a place to check out in the Sandusky area, just make sure you check the hrs first as they do not have regular ones.

I had brunch with a friend in the restaurant. The server was very friendly & sweet and did a good job keeping up with drink refills. I can't have toast (gluten intolerance), so she gave me a bowl of mixed fruit instead. I appreciated that very much! She was even kind enough to reheat my plate because I had talked so long my food got cold! She even asked how long to leave it in for! It was perfect! Although, my eggs were supposed to be over easy, and the white was still pretty runny. My hash browns were also undercooked. Maybe the cook was having a rough day? Hopefully, things will be better next time we have brunch.

Cute market in Clifton. We went on a Saturday morning and it was very quiet. They have a lot of different gluten free items which is nice. They also had a nice selection of coffee and coffee beans from local roasters.
