Nico is by far the best Italian restaurant in Windsor. I've never had a negative experience. The quality of ingredients and work behind the elaboration of their dishes are amazing. The presentation is also always on point. The only reason why I'm commenting today is because I've had one of the best steak tartare I've ever had!!! Side note: this place is great at dealing with celiac/gluten sensitivities!! Nico is a gem!!!

Awesome experience! Mussels were fantastic as an appy and my Brasato melted like butter. It was a good portion and ridiculously excellent. Good gluten free options for my lady friend.

As someone with a long list of food allergies, and celiac disease, eating out can be nearly impossible. Simply feeling safe when eating out is difficult, much less having a delicious meal. I'm usually served with some plain dry meat, and an undercooked vegetable. I must say, Mezzo hit it out if the park. I can't recall the last time I felt this looked after, accommodated for and made to feel safe at a restaurant. Pat, the chef in the kitchen, was a true gem, and personally looked after everything. Not only that, he reassured me of their genuine understanding of celiac disease and cross contamination... and accommodated for my other food allergies. MY MEAL WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. * * * * * I highly recommend for anyone who feels like they can't eat out due to food issues...not to mention the service was excellent. Thank you for SUCH a great meal. I'm really touched. I'll be back soon!

We were with a very large party and food and service were EXCELLENT! Food was served family style. 2 appetizers, Caesar salad and penne with 2 different sauces for only $23 per person? Amazing! The bruschetta and arancini were delicious as was the salad. Pasta was cooked to perfection. They were also really accommodating with those in our group who were gluten-free. We will definitely return when we are in Windsor again!

Ran into this place by accident when some other lunch plans fell through. Wasn't disappointed, food was fresh and delicious. Beautiful drink and menu options. They also had gluten free options, just best to ask the wait staff before ordering.
