The truth is that the overall experience is very good. We went for the gluten-free options, and the celiac member of the family ordered spaghetti Bolognese, which looked delicious. The rest of us also ordered pasta, and it was very good. But the starters (carpaccio and provolone) were much tastier, as they were also gluten-free. If I were to return to Comillas, I would definitely go back!
One of the best pizzerias in Santander without a doubt, many varieties of pizza, pasta, gluten-free and vegan options. The dough feels good and they are delicious. The deal is fantastic, I really encourage you to give it a chance.
The food was good but we ordered gluten-free and despite it being delicious there must have been cross contamination and both of us with celiac disease got sick.
It is important that if there are gluten-free options there is no contamination because then it is like not having options for celiacs.
When you go to a place that has half the menu with gluten-free options, you trust it and think that it is going to be done well.
It's annoying because it's not easy to find places with gluten-free options.
They have delicious gluten-free pizzas, and the potatoes are made separately, so they're suitable for celiacs. They also have gluten-free pasta, but when we went, they didn't have it yet because they usually have it available, especially during the summer.
Pretty good food. We had to share a salad (quite large by the way for one person and we chose a medium one for both of us and there were already plenty of leftovers). The price of the salad was good for the quantity. Then the pasta dish with cheese, quite expensive for pasta and salty. Expensive drinks, especially gluten-free.
The restaurant was beautiful and very cozy, with an atmosphere that invited you to linger. Best of all, they let us bring Tinky, my dog, which was a huge plus. They also had gluten-free options, and the pasta I ordered was delicious. Definitely a place I'll be back to!
It's a disgrace. I went on Saturday at 4:00 PM to reserve a couple of gluten-free pizzas (since they told us so the day before so we could make them in advance) and then have dinner that evening around 9:30 PM. They told me it was no problem. We canceled other places we had already reserved to go to their pizzeria. When we arrived that evening, they told us they didn't have any left, that they'd have to wait another time, said with all the arrogance and arrogance.
We won't be back, not even for fun.
Charming Italian, decoration very consistent with the place, delicious food, medium/high prices but they correspond to the quality. I would return without a doubt. Another point in favor, a large part of the menu is GLUTEN FREE and without charging an additional fee.
