I’ve been coming to Positano for years with friends and family. Tonight, I brought some colleagues from work who really enjoyed themselves. The owner, Steve, is a very personable guy who creates a friendly and great atmosphere. Our waiter, Fabian, knows the menu like the back of his hand and always has great recommendations. They also have a diverse amount of gluten free options on the menu. Consistency is key and Positano never disappoints. Can’t ask for anything better in Wayne, NJ!

We made a reservation three weeks out for a large party of15 people.
Communication was poor leading up to the event. I called and spoke to Matt (friendly and helpful) who told me that the manager, Tommy, would call me back within a few days. One week later still no call back, so I called and left a message. Still no call back a few days before our event, so I emailed Tommy and he responded. No apology for the lack of communication, and he never responded to my email reply afterwards.
My main concern was my wife's dietary accommodations for her celiac disease. I was right to be concerned because her pasta dish came out 30 minutes after everyone else's, which was already slow. There was no excuse for this as I'd given Matt his information a few weeks prior.
Our server, Jason, was nice. The food came out very slowly though, and the restaurant wasn't even crowded. There was a 4% fee for paying with credit card which we were not told about prior. It is also not listed on the large party menu online. The food was good, but due to the lack of communication and getting nickel and dimed, I wouldn't spend my money on another event here.
Really delicious gluten free pizza.. probably the best I’ve had at a nice restaurant. Crust sauce were all good, and they were decadent with the amount of toppings , I had arugula mushroom and sausage. Food is a little pricier than others but I feel totally worth it. My dad who hails from Italy ordered the Harrisonian pizza, he remarked a few times that it was the best pizza he’s had out here in US.
Like most places these days there were delays getting food and service, but waiter did his best to make it right, I would certainly come back.
