Typical pancake house atmosphere. That said, the food is awesome, the staff is lovely, and they have a gluten-free menu for those that would like that. Will definitely return.
Great Italian restaurant. The chicken in my chicken dish was so tender. They use antibiotic and hormone free chicken, and you can tell the quality. They offer many gluten free options, which is important to our family.

Staying in Williamsburg we were wanting some well rated Italian. Man was this place fantastic! Some of the best Italian I have ever had and I’ve had a lot. I got the hefty Chef’s Sampler and the wife got a delicious gluten free spinach pizza. Both were absolutely divine. The salads we had with the house dressing, super flavorful. For desert we got the house made Tiramisu and the gluten free chocolate cake. Both again were fantastic.
Super nice staff and atmosphere, you could tell it was family owned/ran. Sals is an absolute must go to.

First time coming here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They offer gluten-free penne noodles, and pizza crust, which is nice. Just came to get my daughter something to eat. She got the spaghetti and meatball kid’s meal. Unfortunately, one of the meatballs had a bone fragment in it. We didn’t break any teeth, but definitely provides the opportunity to. Id eat here again, but I’d be cautious of their meatballs and any other items that might have some kind of ground meat. My daughter says the spaghetti was good, but the meatball is OK.
Came in with a toddler and the people up front were so friendly with her it made our short wait so great. I got the gluten free pepperoni pizza….WOW, just wow. So delicious. My bf got the regular pepperoni…he looked over at me in the car and was like…this is some of the best pizza! Too bad we don’t live near here, this would be our go to spot!
Gluten Free pizza was not very good, way too much cheese caked on. Overall dishes were meh, not terrible but nothing special. The garlic knots were stale, just surprisingly terrible as it’s a basic Italian staple. There are better options not far away if you need the Italian food fix.
This was my husband and my favorite Italian restaurant. About nine months ago I found out I cannot consume gluten, so I assumed I could no longer eat here. Tonight I accompanied some friends, figuring I'd get a drink and then eat when I got home. When we got there I asked if they have a gluten-free menu. They don't, but the host told me they can make most dishes gluten free and that they will cook the pasta (penne) separately. As soon as we were seated our waiter came over and asked who is gluten free. He went over everything with me. I had the Chicken Marsala, and it was delicious, and the penne was really good. I'm so glad to know that I can eat safely at my favorite restaurant!
