Despite my having told our server that I wanted the gluten-free flatbread, he brought out sandwich bread. He then put the correct order in, but I had to ask him to follow up. When he brought it, it had been baked too long.
Also, the menus don't have GS notations to help me know what is safe for me to eat. I had to literally insist that the server check with the kitchen (in response to his "It should be fine" answer when I asked about the entree that I was considering).
Not the best experience I've ever had at Cento.

I am asymptomatic celiac. They have several different menus (older versions?), and by luck I received the only one at the table that had gluten free markings on it. There are a decent amount of choices, but none of the pastas are marked. Apparently, sometimes they do not have the GF penne, but tonight they did.
The waitress did not know a lot of answers, but she was happy to run back and ask. Several times. Heh.
The meatballs and Alfredo sauce are not GF, but the marinara is. All pizzas can be made GF, and all of the dishes with meat as the main dish can be made GF (beef, chicken, 2 fish options).
I got marinara with chicken, and GF penne pasta, the side salad (without croutons) with the Italian garlic vinaigrette. That vinaigrette is absolutely delicious! The marinara was decent, but I've had better. It's a meal that I can eat, and got that, I'm grateful!
This spot offers a welcoming atmosphere with attentive staff who are patient and understanding of celiac needs. The gluten-free options are thoughtfully prepared, making it a reliable choice for those seeking a safe and enjoyable dining experience.

WHO WROTE THOSE GLOWING REVIEWS?? It’s rare for me to leave a restaurant feeling conned, but last night was one of those nights. Positives: We had a parking place right out front, which was great for the person with mobility issues. The tablecloths were clean. My bowl of pasta and chicken had a decent flavor. Negatives: $150 for two people - absurd. That decent flavor cost me $35. The prices are nothing less than exorbitant for what you get. The waiter was simultaneously pushy and absent - can I get a bottle of wine for the table? (The cheapest bottle was $90.) How about those appetizers? (Ugh, ok, if it will make my glass of wine come faster.) 10 minutes for a salt shaker. We struggled to figure out the chaotic multi-section menu, about which our waiter helpfully responded “I’ve already told you what I recommend so you can just order that.” And please, I beg you - if you’re going to extort me, stop calling us “guys”. Two “specials” on their own page, one of which was a $75 twisty slab of steak with a plop of greens next to it. Caprese salad: A handful of basil leaves on a plate with 6 grape tomato halves and an ugly hunk of burrata cheese (which was warm on the outside, refrigerator cold in the middle). Pear appetizer: Same basil leaves, pears in hot milk, something stuck on the bottom of the cute little cast iron pan. Can we have some bread? Oh, sure - and returns 10 minutes later with a seasoned pizza crust - I suppose it WAS cooked in the wood-fired oven, though. Red sauce tastes like nobody tasted it before they served it. Pizza options (which the waiter will tell you is not meal-sized, and by the way, they have a gluten free crust but it’s not good so don’t order that) so weird as to be downright unappetizing. Just. Awful.

Best sandwich spot in town, hands down. I also can’t eat gluten; they started making gluten free focaccia in house and I almost cried, it’s so delicious. The kind of place that raises the quality of life in a town.

Potentially the best gluten-free fettuccine I’ve ever had. I got it with the bolognese sauce. Very interesting and unique menu.

That was the BEST gluten free BBQ chicken pizza I have EVER had! Big chunks of bacon and chicken and the sauce had a good bite to it! Have always loved the Porta salad!

Ordered curbside for a celiac allergy. The food was delicious. They even made sure not to put bread sticks in the bag as a lot of Olive Gardens do that even though they make the food gluten free.

Went on a Wednesday night around 6:30 and it wasn’t too busy. The service wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it definitely wasn’t bad by any means. Nice atmosphere- very cozy. But the best part was definitely the food. They have literally the best house salad I’ve ever had in my life! I ordered eggplant parmigiana. It was different than the kind I’ve had before but still absolutely delicious. The eggplant basically melted in my mouth! It also came with a side of spaghetti which was a very pleasant surprise. One of my friends is gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating. I would definitely return!

The gluten free crust was delicious and I watched the folks working change their gloves when they were handling my pizza to prevent cross contamination. It’s a bit of an awkward wait (longer than you’d expect), and I wouldn’t recommend eating at the tables inside unless the weather is poor. Go outside and enjoy the view!

Lombardino's is everything I ask of a restaurant: It is authentic, has beautifully prepared food with fresh ingredients, has an intimate setting with the right patron-to-wait staff ratio, and is memorable.
The waitstaff were attentive w/o being overly so. The salads are extraordinary; they are much more than greens. I recommend the roasted beet salad or the Lombardino Ensalada. As a vegetarian who has gluten allergies, I chose an eggplant dish atop polenta, a dish I will never forget. The dish was art: The eggplant exterior was crisp and filled with caramelized onions; the polenta was creamy. The entire dish was rimmed in fresh pesto. See the picture. My friend chose spaghetti, and he said he had never eaten such perfectly prepared food. Our guests raved about their choices as well. Desserts are equally worthy of praise.
We have eaten at Lombardino's on three occasions and have found that the quality of their food and service to be consistently excellent. I dream of the next time I find myself in Madison and able to go to Lombardinos.
This venue offers a nostalgic, retro vibe with lively entertainment including a separate bowling alley and games, creating a fun atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff enhance the experience, making it a welcoming spot for those seeking gluten-free dining options.

I've been a Pizza Pit fan since the 80's. I've been living in Vegas for the last 7+years and recently went home for a visit. I can't tell you how freaking excited I was when they were out of their small gluten free crust and informed me that they were giving me the larger one. I don't know if they are in house made or what but when I move home there will be no other pizza love going on here other than pizza pit. I got an extra pepperoni extra cheese and onions. It was the most delicious thing I've had in a while on the pizza tip. They are so friendly helpful and informative on the phone AND the delivery is super speedy even when they are swamped. I yuv dems! Eat here! You won't regret it!
