Absolutely blown away! As someone with coeliac disease, finding a place that serves truly gluten-free fish and chips — without compromising on taste or texture — is incredibly rare. I’ve been craving that classic fish and chip shop experience for so long, and I can honestly say this place delivered above and beyond anything I’d hoped for.
The fish was perfectly cooked — light, flaky, and coated in the crispiest gluten-free batter I’ve ever had. The calamari was tender and full of flavour, not rubbery or bland like so many others I’ve tried. And the chips? Golden, crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside — absolute perfection.
I’ve been to countless places over the years that claimed to offer gluten-free options, but they either lacked flavour, had cross-contamination issues, or just didn’t feel safe to eat. Here, I felt completely confident in the food and was able to relax and enjoy every bite without worry.
This was hands down the best gluten-free fish and chips I’ve had, and I will 100% be back. Whether you’re coeliac or just appreciate top-quality food, you won’t be disappointed. Highly, highly recommend!
Cried from how good the food is, finally some authentic Mexican food after traveling through Australia. The owner is so kind and interacts with all of the guests, the menu is delicious, atmosphere is wonderful. All gluten free. I wish I lived in Brisbane so I could frequent this place.
An exceptional dining experience! The chef demonstrated remarkable attention to detail, going above and beyond to accommodate specific dietary requirements (gluten-free and vegan). The cuisine surpassed all expectations, the ambiance was perfectly curated, and the evening was thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Fantastic ice cream and very helpful cleaning the scoop for a celiac. Very clear labels for those with dietary needs. Also delicious with many options!
Fantastic food. Great understanding of Gluten free and while no dedicated pizza area they did the best they could making our food ahead of the others so minimal cross contamination occurred. All other gf options come from a dedicated area of the kitchen.
Beef burger was fantastic as well, Could improve on their amaretto sours but the fresh juice was amazing!
Best cold brew in Brisbane plus amazing service from the bloke who owns it - he is a legend. Come and visit for coffee and eats, you won’t be disappointed!

Plenty of Gluten free options. The most amazing breakfast crepe and Han cheese Toastie (both Gluten Free). Portion sizes are very generous, service was great, meals came out very quick and the food tastes absolutely incredible. I will 100% be back and will recommend Oasis in the esplanade to anyone and everyone.
Their gluten free pizza base is a bit underwhelming, but the antipasto and customer service is fantastic. The owner is also very friendly. It feels authentic and makes me feel like I'm back in Italy. I've returned a few times and intend to return again in future.
After the first delicious takeaway, we had to come back the next night for another tasty dish. Staff are friendly and helpful, particularly when discussing gluten-free options. This is our go-to restaurant for Thai cuisine in Redcliffe.
Sat outside. Food was great, staff friendly and attentive, $12 happy hour cocktails were a bonus and the atmosphere was nice with live music. Kids enjoyed it too and they were able to cater for gluten free.
I am a coeliac, and I have been getting my gluten-free wraps from here Regularly. I have nothing but the highest praise for this store.Very friendly staff,extremely efficient and the food is delicious and I have had no issues with the gluten-free wraps.👏👏😊👍
Placed an order for 3 take-out pizza and not only where 2 of the pizzas different to what we ordered but the gluten free base was without a doubt the most disgusting ever!

Delicious pizzas. They mistakenly didn’t label the gluten free pizza but were so good at fixing the problem by delivering us a fresh pizza even though they don’t usually deliver.
