Turtledoves is a great gluten-free bakery! I have Celiac disease, and they make some of the best bread I have tried. Their hazelnut chocolate croissants are also delicious. I highly recommend checking out Turtledoves — you’ll be impressed by the quality!
My wife has been wanting to try this place for a little while now! It was worth the wait! She found out about it on Tic Toc!
We had an awesome meal with all the dips!
This place is 100% gluten free. My wife is just figuring out about gluten and she had a complete worry free dinner!!
We had the Dip Dip Dip hooray and we tried 4 different kinds of tacos!
Well priced, amazing service and the food is absolutely amazing! 10/10!!
10/10. The fish tacos are my #1 choice, always. Such a great experience at the Burlington location, our server was so attentive and did a remarkable job accommodating our daughters gluten allergy.
Went in toray with my kids and husband to celebrate my 29th birthday and joe was amazing not only did he make us feel great he accommodated towards my daughters celiac diease and would double check on everything for her
We just stopped in here for a burger and fires. Food was awesome, Jenna got me exactly what I had in mind and it was waaay better than expected.
Also FYI the gravy is gluten free and AMAZING

Turtle Jack’s is a solid spot I’ve been to multiple times, often before a weekly event with a friend. The burgers are consistently good, and the staff are always friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, and pricing is reasonable for what you get.
One standout item I’d recommend is their New York Style burger—it comes with a thick slice of bacon or cold cut, and it’s seriously delicious. They also offer a gluten-free menu, which is helpful if you ask for it.
Overall, it’s a reliable and comfortable place to grab a bite in the area.
I wanted to take my kids out for lunch but finding a place that accommodates for celiac is often difficult. I called before going to ensure they had options. Upon arrival our server, Emma, was amazing and walked us though the gluten free options and spoke with the kitchen to ensure the food was safe for my kids. The service was awesome and the food tasty. We will be back for sure.
Incredible experience! We had Sebastian as our server and he was fantastic!
Amazing atmosphere, service, food, prices and experience. Great gluten free options as well!. Highly recommend!!
Best place for a quick healthy option. Love it since my girlfriend is gluten free so there isnt much of 'fast food' option but this definitely is and its amazing. Staff is super friendly and store has a great atmosphere and neat setup.
I recently visited Pizzaiolo on Fairview Street, and it was a fantastic experience! The pizza here is absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of crispy crust, fresh toppings, and flavorful house-made sauce. They offer a great variety of gourmet options, including gluten-free choices, which makes it perfect for everyone.
The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring my order was just right. I loved how quick their service was, even during busy hours. The cozy atmosphere and attention to detail really made the visit enjoyable.
If you’re in Burlington and craving high-quality pizza, Pizzaiolo is a must-try! Whether you’re dining in or ordering delivery, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!
I have food intolerances and have very limited places I go to for takeout/dining due to cross contamination or lack of options. Sam's grill has gluten free options and use a separate fryer for their fries to avoid cross contamination. They are one of the very few burger places I have found that hasn't made me sick. Everyone working there has been very kind and friendly. Good spot to check out!
I was super impressed with Pur & Simple. I had never even heard of it till a friend took me there for lunch. She's a big fan. It's a place for breakfast/lunch/brunch, and the menu is huge! It also takes into consideration different people's dietary preferences and restrictions. Gluten-free options and keto meals are available, which was great for me. Unless someone is hard-wired for fast food and junk food, I can't imagine anyone not finding something great to eat here!

Went in with my wife and baby girl and was super stoked to buy a few pizzas. Guy comes out and we asked about the toppings and being celiac I wanted to know if some items had gluten and I as I asked he states I don’t know what has it and what doesn’t so I ask about one ingredient and he comes out with a bogus answer saying it’s all in French and has no idea what it says which is a lie owning a business of my own in the food industry in the past. I’m like ok can we have gluten free crusts and he pretends to go in the back and my wife sees he isn’t even checking to see. Comes out states they have non even though they serve 2 different types of gluten free crusts. I knew he was lying and didn’t want to serve us after i inquired about an allergy request. Be wary of this place if you have allergies and even more so for customer service which was absolutely awful. Not a place my family and I will visit again.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Thankfully able to find seating to accommodate 7 of us. Food and drinks came out pretty quick and everyone liked or love their drink or food selection. A lot of gluten free options to choose from. Would recommend for coming here for a coffee, catch up with friends or studying.
Mark at the bar is incredible! We had a reservation at a table but got there early so we sat at the bar. We decided to forgo our reservation and sit and spend our evening with this amazing gentlemen.
I'm celiac and he went above and beyond to let me know what I could and couldn't have and made sure my entree was safe!
We've been here a bunch of times but this by far was our best experience. Not only the staff but the food was phenomenal.
Plus it was our anniversary and he made sure to bring us a Gluten free treat as a congratulations
This place feels like home. Thank you Mark and staff for the experience 😊
CAUTION IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES!!!
1 week ago today I was at this location and ordered from the gluten free menu. Coconut Curry bowl chicken. The waitress assured me that this was gluten free. 40 minutes later I was extremely sick! The next day I called and spoke to the manager and they were very apologetic and we're going to send me an email with the free meal for the next time. I received no email and I definitely will not be returning!!! Check your spices and don't use spices that may contain wheat or gluten!! If you have a gluten problem I would avoid this restaurant all together they are not transparent. Thankfully I didn't go into anaphylactic shock. Zero stars on how poorly this was handled. I will also add the dirty plate that was given to my daughter with the celery carrots and apples!!.. I sure hope they're not reusing food and plates!
Really nice restaurant. I got the blackened chicken burger on gluten free bun. Had to request waitress to ensure it was also dairy free. They accommodated my dietary restrictions really well and I really enjoyed the burger. They do tend to be busy so better to book ahead a table for yourself.
I eat here at least once a week and I love it. The hard taco shells are gluten free so that's always my go to. Just don't get the salsa if you're taking them out. It can be kind of watery which turns the shells into mush. Other than that, there aren't many places I can think of to get dinner for two that's delicious (kind of healthy) and costs less than $20.

Great burger joint! Ordered Rock Burger on a gluten free bun and fries (gluten free!) and both were excellent. The place is super clean and the staff very friendly and easy to talk to. I’m coeliac and I felt comfortable ordering there. Should have taken a picture because the burger was Instagram worthy but I ate it too fast… next time!
A Must-Visit in Burlington, ON
My best friend and I had our first dinner at Loondock’s in Burlington and it absolutely won us over. We're both foodies (one gluten-free, one not), and the staff (Shout out to Leslie) who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our server was friendly, well-informed, and truly knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and gluten-free safety, which made a huge difference in our experience.
The kitchen even split every shared dish so we could each enjoy them safely. That kind of thoughtful service is rare.
Here’s what we ordered and LOVED:
🦆 Duck on Taro Chip: perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor.
🧀 Baked Brie: gooey, rich, served hot in a cast iron skillet with tons of tasty dipping options.
🥩 Pork Tenderloin: juicy, well-seasoned, and roasted to perfection.
🍮 Pro Tip: Get the French Toast Crème Brûlée: you won’t regret it. Sweet, creamy, caramelized, and unforgettable.
This place is a hidden gem in Burlington with upscale dishes, cozy vibes, and top-tier service. Whether you're gluten-free or not, Loondock’s delivers a memorable and delicious dining experience.
Highly recommend, we’ll be back soon!

Went with another family for breakfast, 2 Kids, our orders were incomplete, the amount of egg on the skillets were a joke, ordered gluten free toast with an obvious added up charge but gave us one piece... for $4 or more, manager interrupted me by just starting to talk to the server while I was trying to order my meal, Kids enjoyed the food, fruit was fresh, but for their prices it was a let down
They have a gluten free menu but it's not very big. They also have GF soy sauce on request which is super great! All in all it's still great to go as a celiac with non GF friends

Love this place! The coffee is great, food is delicious, service is excellent. Lots of space at the table and a lovely atmosphere. Vegetarian and gluten-friendly!
Newly renovated. Very fresh. Excellent menu. Good gluten free options. At lunch the booth was quiet enough for conversation with our friends. Prompt attentive service. Plan to visit again.
Ordered through skip the dishes. I was attracted because of the gluten-free items. The whole family loved every item we ordered: Butter Naan (for those without gluten issues), Hariyali Tikki, Paneer Shashlik, Butter Chicken. This was the best take out of the year! Maybe ever!
Camila is not only top notch authentic Mexican food but the customer service here is outstanding. First started ordering from here on Uber eats which quickly led to a large catering order for a fiesta themed party. Everyone raved about the food and it suited every diety need from vegetarian to gluten free. If you have yet to try Camila, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!! You will not be disappointed everything is absolutely delicious.
Wishing you many years of success! I continue to tell everyone I know they must try Camila.
Outstanding Service and Meal! Friendly and attentive service staff that goes over and above for the perfect experience. The food is second to none, with Vegetarian and Gluten Free Options. The Oven Roasted Salmon practically melted in my mouth with a blend of sweet, spicy and savory. My friend ordered the feature Butternut Squash Ravioli and loved every morsel.
My favourite restaurant. Amazing staff, amazing food! The staff is very considerate about my gluten allergy and takes a high precaution when preparing my food here.
I hope this was just a one time experience but I felt that I needed to make a review. As someone who has celiac, it is really hard for me to eat out and I had heard great things about the food and the staff at this restaurant for accommodating for celiac people. Trust me, I know the whole spiel about there not being a guarantee about no gluten due to cross contamination but I was fine to try from the reviews I had seen on some gluten free review apps. Unfortunately, when we got there, the host (who was also the bartender) wasn't very pleased to see us, but hey, everyone has bad days. He sat us in a nearly empty restaurant other than another table so I had high hopes about the ability for my food to be made celiac safe. When we came over, he was really unfriendly and honestly I just tried to give him the benefit of the doubt until it came to our order.
As I was trying to order, I have to tell people about my allergies because celiac is severe and I have nut allergies too that... yk... can kill me. As I was trying to explain to him that I have celiac, he cut me off in the middle rolling his eyes saying the whole thing about how they can't guarantee anything. This was not only rude but also belittling. Then I asked if the fries were gluten free as in are they cooked in the same fryer as gluten containing items (since it reads GLUTEN FREE on the menu when it isn't gluten free it is gluten FRIENDLY which is not for anyone with celiac or allergies so it shouldn't say that) and he cut me off again saying it was in a fryer that had gluten items so no I couldn't do that. Again, the tone was so unwelcoming and all we wanted was to explain my situation to the waiter. I further asked about the Mexican street corn salad (again, labelled GF) and he said very passive aggressively "well does it sayyy gluten free" I said "yes" and he responded "then it is." I was shocked and also sad like I am not someone who makes reviews and I know how bad restaurants are accommodating for gluten free BUT if you can't you can't! I'm not going to complain when staff can communicate that they have too much cross contamination or they aren't safe for me to eat that is fine. What ISN"T fine it belittling a 20 year old girl for trying to explain her allergies, dismissing her and not letting her finish her sentences and trying to do the order as fast as possible so he could continue to talk to another worker at the bar and play on his phone in an AGAIN nearly empty restaurant.
I really do want to eat here, especially because I have heard good things about food and staff! However, it just totally made me disappointed and scared to return because I don't want to be made to feel like that in situations where I shouldn't be. I am just as deserving of being served and served safely as anyone else. I didn't catch his name but I really hope he doesn't treat anyone else like that because that was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant - my partner and I just ended up packing the food away and leaving. This is my experience and my experience alone. I am in no way saying not to eat here, I really did hear great things and still do from my loved ones, but for me as someone with celiac disease, this was beyond hurtful
Always a great experience! Love that they have a gluten free pita, and they are always so kind & helpful in ensuring there’s no cross contamination!it’s nice to have a quick safe place to grab food! 🙏🏻
## District Kitchen and Bar: Great Wings, Consider Gluten-Free Options!
**Friendly Service and Safe Wings:**
District Kitchen and Bar impressed with their attentive and friendly staff. They were proactive in checking for dietary needs and confirmed their delicious chicken wings are safe for gluten-free diners. This was a huge plus for our visit!
**Winging It:**
The star of the show was definitely the wings! They were excellent and highly recommended. It's something to consider, but the quality of the wings might make it worth it for some.
**Room for Improvement:**
While the staff did confirm the wings themselves are gluten-free, it would be fantastic if the restaurant could expand their gluten-free options to include the sauces. This would make District Kitchen and Bar an even more attractive choice for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
**Overall Impression:**
Despite the slightly high price point and limited gluten-free sauce options, we very much enjoyed our visit to District Kitchen and Bar. The friendly, accommodating staff and the excellent wings make it a place we'd definitely return to.
**Recommendation:**
This restaurant is perfect for those seeking delicious wings in a welcoming atmosphere. Just be aware that the wings can be pricey, especially for larger appetites. For those with gluten-free needs, double-check sauce options as they may not all be safe.
Amazing food! 100% we will be ordering from here on the regular. Delicious food, and super generous portions! Vic Caters & Bakery will not disappoint. It’s also worth mentioning they have awesome Gluten free options! Thank you Vic’s! :)
I ordered pad thai through skip the dishes the other night and there was a little bit of a mix up in the request I made. I first have to say that it is truly one of the best and thai in Burlington!! I am also gluten free and it is completely gluten free.
Upon calling the restaurant to talk about the misunderstanding in my dish, the owner himself was apologetic and came to my house to deliver a new dish. He was extremely polite and apologetic but showed so much care. During these times of a pandemic I can especially appreciate the extra care put into food being prepared. If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend
Excellent gluten-free pizza here! Had a wonderful dinner here with our family, where we sat outdoors and enjoyed the nice weather on the patio. Food was great, service was good (despite how busy it was) & Phoebe was lovely! Good time, would return again. The only downside was the bugs later into the evening, while sitting outside (which is understandable, given how close the restaurant is to the lake). Wonderful views though!
My wife is Celiac so going to a restaurant that takes the time to keep her food not contaminated is important. Staff is very polite and accommodating to her illness and the food is very good
