We visited today and it was extremely busy. Had to wait a while for the food, but we'll worth the wait. One of the group was gluten free and he was well catered for. The only thing that wasn't good was the amount of dogs allowed in with the room being a smallish area. When we were there there was at least 6 dogs, which made it rather tricky trying to manoeuvre around them when using 2 crutches ( trip hazard). Not a good idea for dogs to be allowed in. What about people who are scared of dogs or even have allergies with dog hair. There were seats outside, perhaps a good idea if people with dogs sat outside.

A bustling spot known for its wait-times that are worth it, with outside benches for a quick rest.
Celiac friendlyLow risk of cross-contamination
Perfect fish and chip shop for someone with coeliac disease. All the fish is in gluten free batter, so most of the menu is gluten free. Any gluten containing items are fried separately to the gluten free items and the chips. The fish and chips are also a really good quality and my family had eaten their prior without even knowing it was all gluten free, which is always a good sign!

One of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had. Fantastic atmosphere and the staff were so friendly too. They told me the gluten free bases are not made on site but they have taste tested many before settling on one of the nicest GF bases I’ve tried!

This pizza place is amazing. So many options and all delicious. I have coeliac disease, and although there is a mention that the pizza isn’t safe for coeliacs, I let them know I had coeliac and they took extra precautions. The pizza was actually the same size as a normal pizza and the dough was really good. One of the best pizzas I’ve had!

Amazing food and lovely atmosphere. We visited here twice in our week stay as it was so good. On busy nights, they do two sittings so make sure to book! Gluten free is marked on the menu and when I let the waitress know I had coeliac disease, she advised that I couldn’t have the chips as they were fried in the same fryer as other gluten containing items, so they just brought out a portion of new potatoes just for me (all meat and fish dishes come with veg, potatoes and chips, so I just had my own portion rather than sharing with everyone else). Most of the meat and fish dishes are gluten free, and plenty of stater options too.

I have been wanting to come here for a few years and never managed to be organised enough to book a table! This time we booked on the Saturday we arrived for the following Thursday. We were not disappointed. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, particularly with my little boys gluten free diet. I had the crab canaloni starter followed by the hake Kiev, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.
