Gluten-free batter! But that’s just the start of it. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming appearance and size of the place - this is a brilliant little chippy with a huge menu (Stilton sauce!)
Plus the owner and staff are great - they were working their way through an order for 15 when we got there, and were still very quick.

We had a short visit to Matlock and ate at this Bistro. The portions were very generous, well cooked and of high quality. Exceptional good value. Small fish chips and peas only £7.70 to eat in! Portion was a good size for the average appetite. Formica tables. No frills but very good value for money. They also do gluten free. I would recommend.
