Very quirky atmosphere and people who run it who are lovely. You need to pay cash and order at the counter. Absolutely top-notch coffee, excellent homemade food and cakes (including gluten free) and lovely atmosphere.

Excellent pub. Nice selection of drinks, including local ales and cider. Food is superb, very tasty with a selection of vegetarian and gluten free options, if required. Proper home-cooked food too, no frozen chips. Music was generally eighties and classic rock, but not too loud, so you can still hold a conversation easily. Staff were very friendly which gave the pub a really welcoming feel. It's quite a cosy little place too, so it was always reasonably busy without being rammed. We always got a table, but evening meals are especially popular, so worth booking ahead if you can. Can't recommend enough. Give it a try.

Ordered food to be delivered. It was half an hour late due to being extremely busy but… they did call back and advise this was a risk and gave us options to change our mind! Friendly staff and food hot when delivered. Good healthy portions, average quality but tasty all the same and at the right price too. Gluten Free options. Recommend the fish.

Nice place. But like most chip shops they don't serve much at all in the way of gluten free and vegetarian. So can't comment other than nice chips.
