Sophia is such a sweetheart! I have celiac disease and she helped me pick out some gluten free treats. After ringing me up she complimented my necklace and told me to have a great day. Will be back!!
Best poke place around!
I really don’t understand why there are bad reviews, we have never had a bad experience here.
1. The staff members are so kind and helpful
2. Tons of options! They have 4 different kinds of rice, plenty of protein options, and tons of toppings and sauces. You can pick 3 bases, 3 sauces, 2 proteins, and 8 toppings, for a $16 custom bowl. That is way better than other popular poke spots we’ve been to!
3. Good portions. They even weigh the portions out to ensure accuracy so you’re not getting half filled scoops!
4. Quality ingredients. I’ve never had fish that smelled bad or tasted bad.
5. Really good unique drinks
6. It’s all gluten free! If you are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease, this place is so refreshing to eat at!
I really hope this restaurant stays open and more people try it out because it’s one of my favorite spots ❤️
North Italia in One Paseo is my new favorite Italian food restaurant! Every single team member we encountered was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful.
The kitchen & bar outdid themselves everybody enjoyed their dishes and drinks from the Brussels sprouts to the fried zuchinni chips, bread, pastas, pizzas, and salads. I’m gluten free and was so happy to see such an accommodating menu. I ordered the pesto chicken pasta and loved every bite!
We had a big party of twelve and a late reservation, because our previous dinner reservations fell through. Honestly, I’m so happy they did. Despite our not-so-simple request for a Saturday night reservation at a busy location, they happily welcomed us in and took such good care of us!
Thank you Nicole, Garrett, and all staff!
I have Celiac and it’s always nerve-wracking to go out and eat. The team at Cava was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I felt very comfortable and will be back again!
Excellent healthy food and service. When I told them that my daughter has a wheat allergy, the employee brought over her manager, they changed gloves, and they went over all of the ingredients of her bowl for safety. Her bowl was wheat/gluten free and delicious. Most of their menu is gluten free, and we greatly appreciated the extra precautions they took to accommodate us. Every family member ordered something different and each of the bowls was very tasty. Will be back soon!
I writing a review that is long overdue! Last summer we needed a caterer for our daughter's graduation. We wanted a pizza oven brought onsite and the first place I called was very dismissive.
When I reached out to Criscito Pizza I was delighted by the response. Prior to the event we worked with Phil who could not have been more accommodating and reassuring. He really made me feel like an important customer (as opposed to an inconvenience which was how the first place treated my request).
At the actual event, there were two people (I think?; it could have been three?) making the pizzas and running them to the backyard where they had set up buffet tables.
First off, these young people were so professional and helpful. They set up a beautiful display with pizzas (all labeled) and salad. They made new pizzas as needed and replenished them without being asked. Plus my gluten free guests were SO delighted with the care and attention paid to their needs.
All this and I haven't even mentioned the pizza which was FABULOUS! No lie, it was so good. Everyone raved. (Especially about the Honey Garlic pizza; that one was a particular favorite!)
Needless to say I highly recommend them.
I love the melt! I’m gluten-free and they have quite a few options for me. I eat here pretty often and whenever I call in my order or go to eat my favorite girl to get in the front is May! She’s always so sweet and Charismatic, and calls me darling and always makes my day! When you go in and get her, you’ll be lucky, and the food never misses, especially the cheddar bacon, ranch, and fries, which I get every time I go, delicious!
Wow! This place is clean, organized, on point!! Ryan and Anna were killing it on a day when it was supposed to be slow, but it was crazy busy and they handled it like pros. Team was caring, knowledgeable, informative, and genuine! Love it! Please please try it. If you are gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, or have health requirements you should try this!
So wish we had one of these where we live. When are you expanding to AZ, Mendocino?! Lots of gluten free options and they have great iced tea. I miss it already and look forward to the next visit.
Really tasty lunch! From start to finish, almost everything was executed flawlessly. We were quickly seated, our server Trinity was prompt and very friendly and helpful, and they were great with gluten allergies too.
The food was not quick to arrive, but was very worth the wait. The enchiladas were delicious. I had the Chipotle chicken and my friend the pork mole. Both super yummy. Another friend had the El Mercado salad and she was very satisfied. The queso fundido was good too.
Only problem we had was one of the silverware sets at the table wasn’t clean. But that was quickly remedied. Prices are reasonable, the restaurant is breezy and fairly quiet at lunch. Really good spot and I’ll be back soon!
Great pizzas and food at this hidden gem. They have Gluten free pizzas that are actually very good and better than CPK's GF variety... Great ambience for chatting, nice booths on the inside with a decent bar. 8/10 would recommend especially for larger groups and for the patio room for events
Some friends and I stopped in after a bike ride and the food was delicious! It was also nice to see vegan and gluten free options on the menu, I tried a slice of the vegan cheese pizza and it was legitimately good. We'll definitely go back!
I read other reviews saying it was delicious, so I had high expectations. Let me talk about the price first. It is much more expensive than IN-N-OUT...but if it tastes good, the price is worth it~ But I think it makes me quite disappointed XD
It's not that it's not delicious, but it's just... ordinary, so ordinary that I forgot its taste (about a week later)
If you want to recommend or not, but you want to give it a try, that’s fine. But if you ask me to choose again, I will definitely choose to eat in n out.
(I don’t know if it’s because I chose gluten-free bread that it doesn’t taste good...)
My kids love to eat here but this place is grungy. Every time I go in I’m repulsed by how filthy it is. The quality of food at this location is also not fantastic. I once got a salad here with slimy lettuce and sparse toppings. Tonight we went and I usually don’t order anything for myself because I am very gluten and dairy sensitive and I don’t trust them to make the food correctly - I reiterated several times that there must be no dairy of any kind and that I would appreciate them changing their gloves etc so I don’t get sick. Of course they brought my food out with cheese on it (this is not a first which is why I normally order nothing for myself) - this is after being reassured by the cashier she would “let the cooks know” which I am sure never happened. They need way better training about food allergies and they need to put some elbow grease into cleaning this place up!!
Met a friend for lunch while visiting San Diego here. Beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous outside eating area and fire. Located conveniently to all surrounding areas. The food was fresh and had excellent flavors. The selection of wine was impressive. I am gluten-free and vegetarian. I was glad to find Davanti offers several options.
The Vegan pizza is NOT vegan unless you order the gluten free crust which is an extra charge and only available for the small size pizza. The pizza was good but disappointing that it was labeled vegan but contained dairy.
We LOVE Pacific Social! Their brussels sprouts are to die for and we love their cocktails. Recently we happened to go on a Sunday and our server told us about their epic Sunday Date Night Deal. We got a full order of brussels sprouts, a half chicken entree, braised short rib entree, AND a bottle of wine for $55. It was insane and SO delicious. Our server, Aram, was the man. Super helpful and kind and made sure the food was gluten free for me. We will definitely be back on another Sunday! Highly recommend!
Went with our family for brunch and ordered the Akuri wrap, avocado toast, and some breakfast brownies. They also offered gluten free options for my kids. What a wonderful experience. The patio setting was amazing, staff were super friendly and food presentation was superb. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
