The food was incredible, the menu has a little bit of everything, so there’s definitely something for everyone. Great gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options as well! The salmon and bone-in rib eye were by far our favorites. I would definitely recommend Greystone to anyone looking for incredible food and drinks, a great atmosphere, and stellar service.
Meh overall experience last night with our group of 8. First time for most of us here and I had made a reservation via Open Table. Really cool historic building (former bank) spread across 2 floors. Food itself was all great, especially the dessert (and I am generally not a fan of sweets). Service was ok, but the waiter kept just repeating his standard pitch as quick as possible. Menu options are way too complex and not explained well — highly recommend reviewing in advance. We had 3 kids with us and it was well over an hour before they had any real food. 1 person had some dietary restrictions (gluten and garlic free), but that meant I got the same (I hate gluten free bread). There was also confusion by the waiter about how many burners were on each table (long story). The 2 other groups next to us were both celebrating birthdays, so they seem to cater to special occasions, rather than family dining. I would probably not take kids back and still only go with adults if you are prepared for a 3 hour tour. Just very different than what I expected, but like I said, the food and the cooking it yourself experience was really neat.
Thank you Teresa for taking the time to make me the most delicious gluten free crepe. You went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. You too the time and were so careful to make sure there was no cross contamination. Only a great place pays attention to detail and you surpassed my expectations. Thanks to Adi and Farah for making my daughter a delicious crepe.
THE BEST HOMEMADE ICE CREAM EVER!!!!!!! So creamy!! SOOOOO many choices too!! Lots of Gluten free options too! Super friendly staff as well!!! Definitely go here!!!!
This restaurant is one of the best I have ever experienced...in any city. The entire menu is gluten-free! The food is other-worldy good! The portions are massive! One dish would serve two people easily...and this is coming from a guy who usually finishes his plate. I simply could not do it! The grape leaves are a must-order appetizer. The rice and all the meat we tried was amazing...fluffy rice, with tender, juicy and very flavorul meats. Again...gluten-free! They boast a great wine list as well! The atmosphere is very relaxing. If you visit San Diego, you need to add Bandar to your calendar as a dining experience worthy of your time and tastebuds.
This place has a charming and delightful atmosphere! The food was delicious; I opted for the Gaslamp Lounge burger with a gluten-free bun and fries, and it exceeded my expectations. Finding a place with a gluten-free bun was a challenge, so I was pleased that they offered it. If I find myself in San Diego again, I will definitely be stopping in.
Authentic, delicious Greek food. Gustavo was a fun and attentive server. Mary (the owner) spent time at each of the tables and shared some fun jokes and stories with us.
As wonderful as the people and atmosphere were, the food was absolutely the highlight. Everything we ordered - tzatziki, hummus, melizanasalata, dolmathes, souvlaki, gyros, lentil soup and baklava - was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Also a good selection of gluten free options. Just go. And enjoy.
Delicious!!! Checking out of Hotel Z today and picked up cupcakes for the road. Had a great conversation with the owner. Super nice guy! There is something for everyone here with vegan and gluten free options. Very creative and delicious! 😋
Good Italian restaurant. Fair number of gluten-free options and drinks were yummy. The truffle risotto was incredible, as were the pork lollipop chops. The beet caprese was so so.
We’ve enjoyed meals at Fogo locations in Seattle, Portland and L.A. with great experiences at each one. Unfortunately, our San Diego experience really didn’t measure up in terms of service, restaurant ambiance or food quality. My wife is Celiac and Fogo staff has always been very attentive and knowledgeable regarding her needs for gluten free options. Our experience today was vastly different as staff were vague when asked about gluten free options seemingly unsure of what was and wasn’t GF. The server said he would go check but never returned to explain what was safe to eat. At other locations we’ve always had a manager or assistant stop by to explain what was safe for her to eat. This was disappointing indeed.
My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here for dinner. My wife had steak and I had Sea Bass, both were really good. Our server Nicki was incredible, super friendly and knowledgeable she came through for my with an amazing Gluten-Free dessert from their new dessert menu! This place is part of the Pendry which is really great with wonderful staff all around!
I have eaten a lot of Mediterranean food. My grandmother was from Greece and I also have an affinity for Israeli food. This place has very good food. Excellent flavors. Almost went twice in a short visit to the area last year and came back this year. The pistachio baklava was excellent and enough for 2 people! Our second visit this year wasn't quite as good, but it was probably more due to our dish selection. I would recommend the Kebabs, whole meats or wraps. My wife is gluten-free and found plenty of options she could eat.

Pizza looks great however you can only buy dairy free or gluten free options for whole pizzas which were said to take about 1 hour 30 minutes during peak hours to make for about 32+$.
