Steve and Kyle made our dinner experience phenomenal!! We literally felt like family being welcomed home with the best dinner ever!! The menu had something for everyone, even with our gluten free requests. They served the freshest local ingredients and meats!! I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience.
Lunchtime in Vail thought we would try this pizza restaurant that indicated they had gluten free pizza as an option. We were quickly seated as there was only one other table occupied. Counted abou 7 people working here. Waited a while before our order was taken and discovered they don’t have GF pizza here. Hmmm. Ok so a salad and a meatball sub would do. Salad came out and quite a while longer came a very boring bland meatball sub. I don’t know what all those employees are doing but little care or resources toward the customer experience. Overall kinda old and dirty interior. For an area like Vail I don’t know how such an experience could sustain seven employees. Come on fellas get excited and passionate about food and beverage or just go work in retail.
I chose this place specifically for gluten free options (I have Celiac, so I have to be careful of cross contamination) The menu had GF options labeled. The food was excellent! I had the pan fried Rocky Mountain Trout with asparagus. Delicious! And the staff was super friendly and fun to talk with.
I also rated you in the “Find Me Gluten Free” restaurant app.
Agree with other reviews that the staff and service were top notch. The pizza was great and they had a gluten free option for our “special folks” - who also confirmed it was way better than the typical GF option. The truffle fries were also a hit
The best deal and surprise of the evening was the Caesar side salad with chicken - the portion size was surprisingly large but that was outdone by the freshness and taste of the chicken! It was way better than certain “chicken places” I’ve been to! (I don’t want to over sell it, since maybe it was a one off, but ours was really tasty)
We went in on a Friday night and were seated immediately. Both service and food were excellent. I have celiac and had the gf penne pasta and it was delicious. I would highly recommend!
Had breakfast and dinner here. Great meals, great service and great views. They have gluten free toast as well. The Paklova dessert was amazing. Also had an amazing tequila old fashioned with maple syrup.
We came to the Ritz for lunch during a ski vacation. My friend has celiac disease and really, really loves nachos. It is surprisingly difficult to get truly GF nachos! She inquired whether the nachos were fried in a commingled fryer and our excellent waiter, Rahul, went to check with the kitchen. The kitchen very kindly fried scratch chips for her in a GF fryer so she could safely enjoy one of her favorite foods. The nacho plate was HUGE and I had some of it also. Very well-layered with the toppings on every chip.
I had the pozole which was very well done and not made superfluously "elevated" or bougie in any way. Just a solid pozole served with the appropriate toppings. Our other friend had the bison burger which was perfectly cooked to medium and quite delightful. I'm a chef and have high standards and they were exceeded.
We were treated so well and had such a wonderful time. I wish we could afford to STAY at the Ritz but lunch at Buffalo's is a fine enough consolation prize!
A little expensive for a sit-down but the Pho is good and portions are large. We’ve found the sweet spot is take out. Does not bother our gluten sensitivity.
