Went back for another visit to Ford's Garage! We had burgers this time and they didn't disappoint. Fantastic! They took great care as one person has a gluten allergy and they made us aware of any potential cross contamination with fries and even seasonings. Had mules this time. Both were fantastic! Had the Edison and the 'Merica.
Came here after a friend recommended it. The beer wall was a lot of fun. My husband is celiac and they were able to accommodate him with a gluten free bun for his burger and the vegetable slaw instead of fries. They even accommodated dessert for him by making the banana pudding without the gluten containing ingredients (nilla wafers). Waiter was friendly attentive and helpful. I didn't catch his name but he had an old timey moustache. The happy hour cheese pizza with roasted chicken was delicious, and the fried pickles as well. Will definitely return.
If you eat gluten free (even celiac) this is a great place for you! Most everything on the salad and side bar is gf (just a few things that aren't). And all of the table side meats are gluten free! It's a super fun experience and very yummy! We have been twice and will likely be a go-to for special celebrations (it is admittedly a little pricy to go more regularly). Fun atmosphere and friendly servers. Kids (1] and 15) think it's a blast!
Teds is a great place to meet, enjoy great food, nice bar area and some pretty good dining area too. Foods excellent you can give yourself a bison burger or a nice steak and prepared well. They have gluten-free options and will work with you as well
Went with family. 6 of us. I am gluten free makes me sick. Ordered pasta dish with gluten free with shrimp chicken veges. Checked when it came to make it was gluten free as penne was large. Confirmed. Started eating and after about one third noticed thin spaghetti through it. My grandson had that. Asked manager they said yes gluten spaghetti. Apologizes but gave us nothing except the item which they took back. They should have done more. Horrible allergy practices. Celiacs beware.
I had the pleasure of visiting Chicken Salad Chick in Estero, Florida, for lunch on Saturday, May 13, 2023, with my wife and two daughters. Overall, our first experience was wonderful, and I would give it my highest possible recommendation.
The interior was very friendly, warm, and inviting, and the staff was equally welcoming. The menu was easy to read, with several great chicken salad options. The meal options included fruit, soups, and salads, comparable to Panera but with fewer, higher quality options and fewer baked goods. I appreciated that there were menu options available for children, including a tasty mac and cheese.
I opted for the classic chicken salad as a BLT sandwich with soup, and I must say that both were delicious and of much higher quality than I expected. My wife, who is gluten-free, had the single scoop chicken salad with a side of broccoli salad, which she enjoyed immensely. It was nice to visit a lunch place that is gluten-free friendly.
The interior was playfully decorated and fun, which added to the overall dining experience. The dining area and serving areas were clean, organized, and orderly. We were there early before the lunch crowd began streaming in, and it definitely began to fill up as we were leaving.
One of the best things about our experience was the pricing. It was very reasonable, and we paid only $38 for two adults and two children for lunch, including drinks. The best part was that there was no awkward prompting for an additional tip, which was refreshing.
In summary, Chicken Salad Chick in Estero, FL, provided us with one of the best easy, low cost, budget-friendly lunches we have enjoyed in a long time. We will definitely be returning soon, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
Dropped in for lunch yesterday afternoon for the first time. My wife had a gluten free pizza and I had the bolognese which was the best I have tasted for a long time. Server and staff were helpful and knowledgeable when it came to gluten free options. Will definitely return.
Ordered a basic pepperoni on a gluten free crust. This pizza did not disappoint. The sauce is bold and they do not skimp on anything. Plenty of sauce, pepperoni and cheese. Great pizza!
They do not allow reservations or call ahead for parties over 6. And told us "you can go to Naples" However, they knew a larger party was on their way and said they could not hold a table for us, and when we arrived, they informed us that there would be an hour and a half to two hour wait. Apparently, there aren't any loose tables to push together? The 3 women at the host station were rude and kept giving us and other guests dirty looks. I did not feel welcome at all and working in customer service, which is NOT how you treat paying guests. One of the people in the party asked if there were enough spots available before the 2 hours, and there was a big fuss from management about "separating you." Ok .. we had 2 booths back to back and didn't wait 2 hours, but the resolution came from a guest, not your restaurant. The front greeting area did not greet and were obviously uncomfortable with being welcoming. Our servers were amazing and friendly, attentive, and definitely know how to treat guests. The servise was prompt and the food delicious. Your management and front desk staff need special training. I had the Avocado beet salad and a slice of gluten free chocolate cheesecake.
Love the colors of the smoothies and bowls. Great and fresh!! Not sure if the granola is gluten free. Little expensive but anything healthy is worth it for me. Will be back soon
For once a good Chipotle experience. I live in Miami and we used to be very frequent chipotle visitors as they have a lot of gluten-free options. Gave up on them after terrible experience after terrible experience. Visiting Bonita Springs with my daughter and we decided to give chipotle a try. Great experience! She advised the server that she had food allergies and asked her to change her gloves. Server promptly washed her hands and even turned off the faucet with a paper towel. Food service was fantastic and the portions were plentiful. Location is super odd as I'm used to them being in the center of everything and this location is a standalone with virtually nothing next to it. Tables were spotless. Staff were busy cleaning when they weren't preparing food. Garbage cans were empty unlike the last place, I ate at where the garbage was overflowing and a bunch of people just standing around doing nothing.
Ivan was very good server! I always get farmhouse with mushrooms and gluten free French toast it is the only thing I want when people want to go to brunch. Plus the million dollar bloody always hits. Love first watch! Thanks Ivan
Service is awesome. Lots of good choices to pick from, like the different sause options and they have good vegetarian options and some gluten free as well..something here for everyone.
Pleasant surprise. We were hesitant to try this place at first because it is inside a Marathon gas station. Don't let that stop you though. We had the Chorizo Burrito and the Californian. Both were made fresh. My wife is gluten free and it was not on the menu but they do have gluten free bread and other options. Very friendly and great food. Definitely worth the stop.
First time for us and we will definitely be back👍👍👍👍 We enjoy trying new restaurants once the Snowbird's go home. Everyone at our table couldn't say enough about their dinner choices. 🙂 Details are very important to us as we look at all facets of our dining experience from the first greeting to the last good-byes. Decor was appealing, the booth had movable seats ( important) our waiter Aigest was exceptional (very friendly yet professional) and accommodating for Gluten Free with no cross contamination! Definitely a Winner👍. No I recommend you go and receive this experience yourself.
I am obsessed with their açaí bowls! The fruit is so fresh, the gluten free granola is incredible and their portions are perfect. I could eat here everyday.
Visiting from MD, great breakfast spot. Good prices, food was cooked perfectly, and very accommodating to gluten free people. Server and what seemed like manager and owner had great service!!
Food is consistently good and plentiful, and the prices are fair. I like the ‘build your own pasta’ with meatballs, and took half of it home. No extra charge for gluten free pasta (it’s rotini), which is great. And who can’t get enough in their salad and soup! You pay at the table here; good for credit card security.
I am SUPER IMPRESSED with the menu at Crisp and Green. The food is OUTSTANDING!! They are very health conscious and are aware and considerate of food sensitivity/ allergies. They have great dairy free and gluten free options. I struggle to find places I can eat and truly enjoy. By far my FAVORITE restaurant right now!!
I highly recommend eating at Crisp and Green for a very filling salad or yummy bowl!! And on top of that, the ambiance and staff are on point.
We had lunch at Lehne Burger today based on a recommendation from a friend. FINALLY- a great, local burger place!! We were so impressed by the friendliness of the staff, tastiness of the burgers and crispness of the fries. I was debating about ordering my burger with a gluten free bun or just eat it on mixed greens (since GF buns usually aren’t very good), but I am SO happy I ordered it on a bun. It was the best GF bun I’ve had. We also loved the garlic Parmesan sauce. We ordered medium rare and they came out at the correct temp. All in all we sang Lehne Burgers praises as we shopped around the mall. They need to advertise to get more people aware of them since the signage and location at Coconut Point aren’t very good.
Was there the first Friday after they opened. It was a bit of a mad house but the team was calm and composed and focused in getting orders out, staying friendly even with a room full of people staring them down. I waited a really long time for my order, thinking as I left “this pizza better be damn good” to be worth the wait. OmG IT WAS. I got a gluten free crust (not cauliflower!) and it was absolutely delicious, so good it made me doubt it was GF! The toppings were flavorful, the crunch was just right and it was just plain GOOD. I will definitely be a regular here!
Delicious, authentic cuisine! The service was fantastic, and there is a great variety on the menu! Something for everyone! Gluten free options available!
🍕🌟 Pezzo Pizza + Bar: A Fantastic Dining Experience! 🌟🍕
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Pezzo Pizza + Bar, and it was an absolute delight! Here’s why we highly recommend it:
Delicious Food: Luigi’s Rigatoni and the Parma pizza were both outstanding. The flavors were on point, and the pizza crust was baked to perfection.
Generous Price Fix Dinner: We opted for the price fix dinner for two, which included a bottle of wine and fresh salads. The value for money was excellent.
Warm Hospitality: As first-timers, we felt welcomed. They surprised us with an on-the-house bruschetta – a lovely touch!
Classy Vibe: Pezzo exudes a fun and upbeat atmosphere. It’s perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.
Whether you’re a pizza lover or simply appreciate authentic Italian cuisine, Pezzo Pizza + Bar is a top choice in SWFL. Gluten-free crusts are also available. 🎉
While it is a reasonable place to eat, the menu options are a little bit limited. The service was not the best, and was below average. The restaurant does not appear to understand what “Gluten Free” actually means, as their coconut shrimp, ordered by my uncle, said gluten free and was confirmed by the waiter to be gluten free, but was coated in breading. While I was told that I would be fine eating here as someone with severe gluten sensitivity, I got a bad reaction to the food. While I wouldn’t come back here, it isn’t a bad place for individuals without dietary restrictions.
