My husband and I recently had dinner at Captain’s BBQ. The food was easy to order, tasted great, and we had a wonderful view! Their sweet potato mash is TERRIFIC.
For those people needing gluten free options , the menu shares which items are gluten free and there are a lot of choices! They also have an amazing gluten free cheesecake! Worth the trip, for sure!
Burgers are good. Salads are okay. Love their hash browns! Roast Beef is like mom makes. They have a Gluten free menu which a plus. They really need a better gluten free bun or figure out how to heat the cold crumbly one they have. My husband likes their Philly cheese steak.
I had a fabulous, healthy lunch after playing pickleball. It was a wonderful surprise to discover this place. They have healthy, gluten free, and delicious options. I definitely recommend -- even if you're not playing -- stop in for a grab and go -- it's definitely worth the effort!
Tonya was our waitress and she rocked it!! She was well aware of gluten options and recommended great food! The atmosphere was very Italy like. The pizza is now my favorite in Palm Coast!! Will definitely go back when I need a good gluten free pizza.
I’ve had this place on my list on where to visit for a while and I wish I came here sooner. Loved the ambiance. Such a nice spot for seating outside. The parking lot was full (we came in on a Friday evening).
Even though the restaurant was packed, we got seated in 20 minutes. There’s a full bar and a great menu! A lot of veggie options and gluten free.
We started with the meatballs and fried raviolis. I definitely enjoyed the meatballs!! We tried the Haymaker deep dish pizza and we absolutely devoured it. We were still talking about it the next day. The next time I’m craving pizza I’ll head back over. I may want to try some of their other dishes like the spicy penne vodka pasta dish.
Amazing experiences here since it opened. Never have an issue and always delicious. recently got the Pad Thai, fried rice, and the duck. Pad Thai and fried rice was great as usual. but my goodness, that duck was phenomenal. (ramen that is pictured is not gf)
Lawrence was a wonderful server. The food was amazing!
Try the Murgh Tikka and the Lamb Tikka Masala.
They even make their own mango ice cream!
Lots of gluten free options.
I'm really happy that a Jersey Mike's opened up in my neighborhood. The location is clean and the staff is friendly and pleasant. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they cut the meat right in front of you when you order a sandwich, it's so fresh. And as a gluten-free person, I was thrilled to see that they have gluten-free sub rolls available. That's not something you come across often.
I was very happy with the excellent breakfast! Gluten-free options were great! The breakfast potatoes, eggs, and gluten-free Avocado Toast meal was very good.
This is THE most adorable little place!! Excellent chai, great gluten-free options, stunningly beautiful wall mural and adorable back porch area outside. Absolutely charming!
My family and I love it here. I love knowing that they regularly help out our local schools with donations for our students sports teams and to bless our teachers! 🥰 I have Celiacs and their GF options are fabulous!
Eating here reminded me of going as a child. I remember the 4 different flavors of syrup, which they finally brought back. When they stopped that it didn't feel right. This location is clean, and the staff is very friendly. I did not catch our waitresses name, but she was very sweet. She made my husbands milkshake just like the photo. I had to take a picture to show you since many restaurants have photos that do not look like the food. We were there early morning on 7-15-2024 so if a manager reads this it was one of your early morning staff. It is nice to get a smile when you are in a restaurant. The food was yummy, and that is not easy to say when it comes to gluten friendly items, but the waffle is amazing. This is one of the best places to eat breakfast early in Palm Coast.
Incredibly delicious gluten-free pizza! They can even do the dessert pizzas gluten-free! Very fast service, nice atmosphere, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!
Absolutely an awful experience. A few weeks ago I decided to order an online pickup order at firehouse. I placed an order for 3 sandwiches, one of them happened to be on a gluten free bun. Probably 2 minutes after placing the order I received a call saying they did not have any gluten free buns which was fine I can understand if they sold out so I requested a refund on the order which they replied it would be refunded... Never was refunded. I contacted firehouse stating a refund was not applied which I was then met with a women saying one would be met soon. It was never sent but I was greeted by a email saying gluten free buns were back in stock and I would be able to come pick up my order whenever I chose too. Normally this would not bug me but I blatantly asked multiple times for a refund not a new meal. Today my family decided lets try and just get the meal since they are not going to refund us the money. Transaction was simple, did not make a huge fuse about getting the food and over all respectful all we had to do was show them the receipt of the food we placed online. Upon getting the food however the food order was wrong for one of the sandwiches as the majority of the items were asked to be on the side but all we got was a piece of bread with meat on it (no veggies) and two out of the three sandwiches did not have a pickle in the box. On top of that only one napkin was in the box, which is not a huge deal but I feel like it shows the blatant disregard and lack of care their employees put into preparing food that is already a lot of money. As someone who works in fast food I understand how things can be forgotten or misplaced when putting together an order but when someone comes in after already having an issue at your place of work I would 100% make sure their food is correct and they got everything they possibly would need. I will definitely not be coming back to this location anytime soon.
Was with a 10 ur old with celiac. He eyes literally glistened when she saw the cinnamon roll. She literally said ,” I was diagnosed when I was five, so I haven’t hand a cinnamon roll for half of my life!” That night, she warmed up her roll and spread it with glaze and looked like she was in heaven. We didn’t realize it took 72 hrs to make these beauties so we missed out on placing an order before she left town—- but next time I head to NC, cinnamon rolls are going with me!
My family has been here a few times on vacation, and the food is amazing, especially the garlic knots! And for those who eat gluten-free, they do have gluten-free pizza crust! It's frozen and has a cracker-like consistency, but my mother (who was recently diagnosed with celiacs) gave it a 9 out of 10 tastiness rating!
Be warned, though, this is not a GF dedicated restaurant. However, my mother explained what she needed to our waitress, and she and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and understanding about it!
We'll definitely keep going back!
Today I decided to try a new pizza place. I ordered three items to be delivered.
Item 1 was a Greek Salad, it was ok but nothing special because it only had vegetable (no ham, etc….).
Item 2 was a gluten free pizza. My son told me it was good.
Item 3 was a Grandma’s Pizza, for me the sauce was too sweet. I didn’t like it.
