I have been here multiple times and literally never disappointed. I am celiac and extremely sensitive and I can eat anything here with no reaction and my non celiac family enjoys it too. My only complaint is I’m not in the area enough.
I have to give a shout-out to Addison, who turned 17 today and had her birthday cake/ celebration at this restaurant this evening. Congrats!
This restaurant is a staple for me and the great gluten-free pizza options.
I also love the vibe / decor no matter which store you visit.
I went with the bbq chicken pizza, and it was delicious.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely
Will I return? Absolutely
Go see for yourself!
Caleb, my server was cool
This place has delicious donuts AND chicken salad. I’m so glad we have this option here. You can get gluten free donuts on certain days of the week, too!
Millie helped me figure out what I could eat that was gluten and dairy free! Don never stopped hustling back and forth making sure everyone had what they needed, and Sophia chatted with us while we waited for our fantastic food! My husband said the club sandwich plus the blueberry bagel flown in from NY was delicious! We were from NC and will definitely go back when we are in BG this fall!
Very aware of gluten allergy and cross contamination. Great food, only complaint is that it is popular so there can be a wait for food to be prepared, but that’s what happens when you have a good thing.
Brad H went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were taken care of. I do apologize there was a female server who was also amazing. She’s in school to become a diesel mechanic and came and chatted with us and we were amazed that she remembered so much.
Between these two, I have no idea how anybody could ever have a negative experience. They paid close attention to my gluten allergy, chatted with us about experiences that we’ve had in the area since moving to Kentucky and even chatted about the fact that my daughter is headed to college soon.
It was genuinely a fantastic experience. Well worth the 90 minute drive.
The food was good, but the pricing seemed a little ridiculous.
$16 for the Southern burger was a lot. Okay, it's "wagyu beef," but once you grind it up, you've lost the benefit of it anyway. And it's got brisket on there, too - which you can't really even taste, competing with all the other flavors.
Add $2 for a gluten free bun. Usually after you're paying a certain amount for your food, they're willing to accommodate you.
Add $4 for "premium sides"? That sounds like a big upcharge. Maybe they're really exciting? No - sweet potato fries are a premium side!
Suddenly this burger is $22, which seems considerably less reasonable.
Seems like you're paying for the idea that it's an "upscale" place, without the benefits that should go with that.
We were celebrating my husband’s parents 61st anniversary. Usually a party of 14 you expect to wait a while for drinks, appetizers, food and desserts. This was not the case. Micah and Matthew were accompanying with suggestions and serving us. Everything we had was delicious! There is a QR code on the menu with even more entree choices with pictures. I’m gluten sensitive and I had so many options to choose from. They even offer some sauces and desserts that are gluten free. We had a wonderful dining experience! Thank you Anna’s.
Another fantastic eatery for Bowling Green. This Gastro pub has a varied menu that will please many palates. Premium food ingredients make delicious meals I plan to enjoy many times. The BEST PART is that Toro has an extensive gluten free menu as well. It’s about time more restaurants cater to those who have eating sensitivities. Thank you Toro.
Be careful ordering gluten free from them. Most locations are good and I've been using them for years. The other day I used the Bowling Green KY location. I used the app to place a pickup. Traffic was bad so I arrived 25 minutes late. There was nobody in the lobby and everybody was standing around talking. I saw my order wasn't on the shelve and told them my name. They rolled their eyes and said "gluten free". They did not clean anything, but the slicer is normally used for meats/cheese and they placed a paper down before putting the bun on. A little risky but whatever. They put olive oil on it and I told them my order said no olive oil. They then proceeded to try and scrape it off. They got mad when they realized scraping oil is not very effective. They then placed a new gluten free bun right on the uncleaned table. Meaning all kinds of actual gluten on are it now. I asked for a refund and the lady never even apologized. At this point there was a line out of the building. I tried calling corporate and they said that line is no longer available and I have to use email. I used email and never got a response. They simply do not care.
This is a GREAT place for coffee lovers. Wonderful service, cozy atmosphere and friendly baristas. I was thrilled that they offer a gluten free cupcake! The outside decor is a very inviting area to just relax and enjoy your coffee. We were visiting this area today with a family member, but if I lived here THIS coffee place would be my favorite hangout.
Similar to Nicoletto’s in Nashville, Danny’s is the go-to spot in BG for fresh handmade pasta. You can create your own pasta bowl, take home fresh pasta & they have salads, sandwiches, focaccia & their homemade sauces jarred for purchase. Their pizza slices are affordable & 1 slice is all I needed to feel full. I also took home some Rigatoni + gluten-free Fusilli pasta that cooked beautifully in 90 seconds & had the perfect bite you want from fresh pasta. The shop itself is a little cramped when busy, but everything they make is worth the wait & your money ✌🏻
My wife has a gluten allergy. This is one of the few Fast Foods who have Glueton free buns. The last 2 time we have gone they have failed to give her the buns on her gilled chicken sandwich 🤦🏻
Cool place closer to home. Coffee was great. The bagels are real good but they cram it with cream cheese. Not horrible but grab a napkin. There are gluten free options here if you need them. Will visit again for sure.
Catering 10/10
We had The Bistro cater our wedding- wow, the food was the star of our night. We got so many compliments and our friends are even trying to recreate the bacon-wrapped dates at home (which was one of our cocktail hour appetizers). Chelsea was so helpful with helping us design our menu, offering suggestions, and even ensuring our gluten free guests did not have cross contamination. I am beyond pleased with the level of professionalism and care they put into our special day. Thank you so much, - Tucker and Mariah Greer
Great Montana ambiance. Big lodge style, elk head, fireplace, etc.
Food was good. Their chicken dishes all seemed to be the same, just with different sauces. The pot roast special was DELICIOUS. Food was just tossed on a plate with no garnish, or extras - one meat, one side.
Some basic gluten-free options.
Close to WKU, just off the main hwy. Large parking lot.
Hostess was super friendly, but our waitress was not.
With better service and food presentation, I might give it 4 stars.
Came for lunch around 130. Very few customers when we got here. Dinning room was dirty. There were no clean tables, trash on the floor, and no napkins in the despenser so that you could clean your own table. Also informed me they don't actually carry the gluten free bread as stated on the website. So I couldn't eat with my party.
Well, we waited 45 minutes for 1 singular gluten free waffle to go and they kept skipping my order and making table orders instead or just completely forgot. I walked in at the same time as an older gentleman and he had time to order get his food and eat to then have to wait to pay another 10 minutes because nobody would bring him a ticket.
I have celiacs disease and I'm pregnant. I can't eat regular wheat breakfast items and the eggs where we had stopped made me nauseated so my husband brought me there to get a to go waffle... 45 minutes later and we are back on our road trip and I still have no breakfast. I've had problems at every IHOP I've been too this year I give up on this company. I hate the one restaurant with Gluten free options is inaccessible dude to long waits and or little to no service.
Wow, finally a true Italian sit-down restaurant in Bowling Green. Entrance is NOT at the corner (formerly Mariah's), but the drop off is still usable. Elevator of parking garage closest to the ballpark was LOCKED via key card. Food was fantastic; they even had gluten-free pasta. Will Def return!
If you suffer from an antisocial disorder I would recommend not to go on a night that Kenticky Basketball is playing. It was very loud and I'm very thankful my autistic daughter was not with us. However, the wings were delicious and the staff was on top of everything, especially with how crowded it was! We'll definitely return to dine here. Next time we will have to try the gluten free pizza!
Visited the Cracker Barrel in Bowling Green en route back to our hotel after having a day at Mammoth Cave National park - it was well worth the detour!
The staff were so friendly and accommodating to my Mum's gluten free requirement by providing a handout of all allergens in every dish and side.
All 5 of us enjoyed our food, very reasonable prices - recommend the Catfish!
Faley, our server, was superb - nothing was too much of an ask, chatty, went above and beyond. A credit to Cracker Barrel.
If ever back in the area, would definitely visit!
Service was excellent, thank you Alexis. Food was perfect, thank you grill cook, or should I say grill master? Well done and charred to perfection, and done (no pink) and juicy on the inside. It was the first burger I have had in over 12 years. Thank you for having gluten free buns so people with celiac disease can enjoy a fully dressed burger that you can hold in your hands. Eatting a burger with a fork is NOT a burger. Thank you again. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I haven't been disappointed yet.
Me and my husband originally came here because they have corn tortillas, and I have a gluten allergy! We are newlyweds from Wisconsin and are on our honeymoon roadtrip so we were in need of some driving sustenance! When we came in we were seated by Skyler who was very welcoming, approachable and friendly. We then were greeter by our lovely waitress, who I am pretty sure is named Chelsea, please correct me if I am wrong!! She is so lovely and went out of her way to get me a gluten free/dairy free menu, and even got me my own corn tortillas so I could still enjoy some salsa when I was a bit worried about gluten contamination with the tortilla chips and the fryer! We were able to have a lovely chat with our waitress and shared lots of laughs, she is the kind of person you could have fun talking to for hours! The music and atmosphere is so great, one of my favorite songs came on and I just couldn’t help myself, I grabbed my husband and we slow-danced right there! There weren’t too many people since it was late at night so it was peaceful and fun! Lastly, the cherry on the cake, our amazing waitress, out of the genuine kindness of her heart, paid for our meal. It was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for us, I literally teared up and my husband was speechless. This was the best restaurant experience we have ever had, if we lived here we would come daily!! Thank you again for making our honeymoon extra special staff at Chuy’s, especially our amazing waitress! I hope the very best for all of you! (P.S. The salsa was DELICIOUS and the corn tortillas were so soft and warm! I couldn’t get enough!)
