What a fun retro diner! Staff very friendly. Atmosphere great along with music. Food excellent with nice sized portions. I needed a Gluten free breakfast and gf Belgian waffle with very fresh strawberries was delicious! Other gluten free options available too. And real maple syrup available on request at a minimal price.
My friends and I went here for lunch because one of us has a gluten allergy and we read that most items could be made gluten free. My friend ordered a sandwich made gluten free and the person on the register confirmed what she ordered could be made gluten free. They called her name and she picked it up, pointed to the sandwich and confirmed it was gluten free. The person confirmed it was gf and she sat down to eat it. They then called her name again and said her order was ready. Confused, she went back up and asked why they had a second sandwich for her. He explained that the one she picked up was not her order, that they did not know what happened and then explained what she had been eating was not gluten free despite confirming before that it was gluten free. Luckily they gave her a full refund for her order, but it is irresponsible and dangerous for people's health to mix up gluten and non gluten items. Perhaps the staff needs some more training on the topic and to be more vigilant moving forward.
They have gluten free and vegan muffins (separate) that are pretty good, can do sandwiches on GF bread, and the hash browns are awesome and also GF. The coffee isn't anything to write home about. Indoor seating is extremely limited, and the way to form the line is confusing for a lot of people. Service is always friendly. Pretty loud and busy, not a good place to sit and work. Anything hot will take 20 min or more
This is the cutest cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfast sandwich with ham was served with a side of pickled veggies. The chicken kale soup tasted homemade.
We sat in the back patio area under a large maple tree. Very charming and unique setting.
Service was very good.
Gluten free bread is available for sandwiches.
Great place to eat on the Cape! If you have a gluten allergy this is where you should eat. They are very knowledgeable in the allergy and can accommodate a lot of their menu to gluten free. The gluten free lobster roll was delicious as well as their coleslaw made with cranberries! Lots of menu options and daily specials to choose from! We enjoyed everything we ate there. Eat here, you won’t regret it!

If you find yourself in Falmouth, even off season, this place is likely open and worth a visit. They have a ton of variety for your sweet tooth. Ice cream too.
I was delighted to see that they have gluten free chocolates and other candy marked. (With a prudent disclaimer that they can’t completely avoid cross contamination). As someone with Celiac who often has to miss out on treats due to gluten, I’m grateful for this detail.
The place is small and tight, and usually packed. Keep that in mind if you have any mobility aids.
The candies were fresh, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the store is centrally located. Good prices too, for what you get. My treats were delicious. We’d stop here again.
We had someone with a gluten allergy and wanted to order food for take out. We spoke with the hostess who was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful! They made our gluten free enchiladas and we were able to pick them up very quickly. They have other options for gluten free food too.
While they do not take reservations, it is a wonderful place. When out in Falmouth. We really enjoy their skewers and their spanakopita is fantastic too. My wife enjoys their gluten-free pita. Victoria and the other wait staff are excellent! Have a glass of the boneshaker Zinfandel, you won't regret it.
If you’re looking for the real deal ye olde shipyard cape cod seafood spot, with impeccable food and big portions and plenty of gluten free options(!) and friendly helpful staff, this is your place. It’s unpretentious with exposed brick and old wooden beams and it’s actually been around forever, for sure longer than anything else on Main Street, which gives it a certain ye old shipyard je ne said quoi. In particular, it must be said that the swordfish special with coconut saffron sauce perfectly grilled asparagus, mind-expanding potatoes, and some kind of apple slaw, was simply stunning and delicious. The menu is the perfect mix of creative new American specials, plenty of great seafood, and classics like crab cakes and fish and chips. The staff was all very genuine and cheerful and had a lovely vibe of togetherness between them, and I even distantly heard someone singing in the kitchen which is a huge win. If someone sings to / near your food it increases the health benefits for sure. This is my new favorite restaurant in Falmouth and I will be back for some delightful gluten free breaded items which is just very touching and nostalgic for me since I can never eat these things without significant gastrointestinal distress. So really it’s opening up a whole new world of salmon burgers to me that was previously inaccessible, and I am grateful. Ten out of ten. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Lots of sandwich options, and love that they have a gluten free bagel. However, they aren’t stocked on everything and their online menu isn’t up to date.
Cute, spacious coffee shop located steps away from our hotel, Inn on the Square in Falmouth MA. I had an iced coffee.
Nice variety of baked goods including muffins, croissants and lemon bars.
Dedicated display for gluten free muffins.
The line in the shop moved quickly.
this restaurant is a gem. the flourless chocolate cake and gelato were wonderful. i love that they have gluten free options! they were willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. i would return.
Been here a few times since moving to the area, everything is great! Staff is always attentive, kind, and the place is spotless! Enough gluten free options to be able to eat, which is not something a lot of other restaurants can say!
Group of 9 with waitress Samantha. We had a fabulous experience here. What a pleasure to be able to have dinner in a restaurant and carry on a conversation at a normal vice volume. One member of our party is allergic to gluten, Olive oil and a number of other foods. Osteria pulled together a delicious dinner for her. The rest of our party raved about their meals. Thank you so much for the fabulous evening and incredible service from Samantha.

Amazing fresh food very friendly staff would 100% recommend with a lot of diversity on the menu . My group of people all have very different dietary restrictions - gluten allergy , vegan, gastric sleeve, fruit and shell fish allergy and they were extremely accommodating
my mom and i were visiting the area and a lot of places were closed so we went to liam’s and sat at the bar. they were only serving wings and pizza so we ordered both and a couple drinks. they had gluten free pizza available which is actually crazy because a lot of places don’t have that as an option yet the cool local irish pub did?? haha we were very happy about that as my mom cannot have gluten and i will avoid it at times as well. the bartender, guy who made our food, and the young girl server were all very friendly and customer service was great. also made a good espresso martini
I have a *severe* gluten allergy & traveling with a large tour group to the Cape sometimes made eating out a challenge for me. This place was awesome. The manager hooked me up! She understood my needs & the seriousness of cross-contamination, she placed my order personally, and that Citrus Endive Salad was phenomenal! Super yum! No issues whatsoever. We had a beautiful waitress who checked on me to make sure my salad was okay… Another lovely waitress who offered me sorbet for dessert instead of that incredible lemon cake that everybody else got… It was just such a nice experience. The whole food allergy thing is such a pain for people like me, a total minefield really, but you all made it so easy. Many thanks & love from Texas ❤️
The best place for elegant dining in Falmouth. Great atmosphere and excellent food. My wife and I shared Osso Bucco (Veal on the bone) and Fillet Mignon, both with different risottos and crème burlee. The right flavors and portions for a perfect evening weekend meal. Kudos to the chef. As a 15 year celiac, I can help you with the best Gluten Free breads, pastas, and breading for veal/chicken Parma?
Unfortunately the gluten free pizza is pretty bad. It's also tiny, which to be fair they're clear about on the menu, but it being in a large box makes it extra sad. The people there were nice, even while being yelled at by another customer. Unfortunately I probably won't go back for bad pizza.
I find myself recommending this place to everyone!! The people are great and the food is even better. So flavorful but full of fresh, nutritious food! Love it!!! 🥰🥰 It adapted to gluten, vegan, and vegatarian restrictions! Please go there, don’t miss out! Trust me 💛
As a Celiac, it was super fun to have a great, delicious meal that was safe to eat.
Go Water Street Kitchen! You all got it going on.
We’ll be back again and again ...and bringing guests!
Great place for breakfast. We were visiting the cape for the weekend and ended up coming here for breakfast both days because we liked it so much! Food is excellent and very reasonably priced, and they have something for everyone (including 2 types of gluten free toast for those that need it). Service was great and atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely be coming back here if we're ever in the area again!
