I’m really disappointed in my experience with Broad Street Dough Co.
I placed an order for a Gluten Allergy Mini 9 Box—clearly labeled for those with dietary needs. Instead, I was handed four full-sized donuts and told to “just cut them up.” That might sound simple to an adult, but it doesn’t go over well with children who were each expecting their own donut. Try explaining to nine excited kids that they’ll be splitting donuts with forks and napkins instead of enjoying the individual treat they were promised.
I’ve reached out to the business multiple times via email, Facebook and their website. Days have passed with no response, no refund, and no apology. This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s a disregard for food allergies and for customers who trusted them to get it right.
I hope they take this feedback seriously and start treating allergy orders—and communication—with the care they deserve.
The food is great here. Large selection of various meals. Pricing is fair. The ambiance is relaxed, clean, and welcoming, like a classic diner should be. The service is prompt and professional. They don't keep bugging you when you're eating, but they are very attentive. Everything is always fresh, with large portions. Their selection of soups, salads, sides, and desserts are all exceptional. Drink refills are free. Dinner vegetable substitutions are easy. I've been a patron here for over 25 years, and the food and selection has only gotten better. They do have Gluten Free and Vegan options, although limited. Just a really nice place to go for breakfast, lunch, or to take the family and kids for a great dinner.
The absolute best gluten free, vegan pizza I have ever had.
Cauliflower crust, pesto mushroom.
Will be back everytime i am here in Asbury.
Best for take out.
Love the pizza! And I love that they have gluten free pizza for my family members with celiac disease. But if I didn't know any better I'd think it was closed. Very dark outside, you can't see the signage.
I ordered gluten free white pie pizza. Unfortunately, it was the worst pizza I've ever tried. The crust tasted horrible. Also, I usually get ricotta when I order white pies. However, that pizza had some cheese that looked cheap and didn't taste well. Maybe I was just unlucky with my menu choice.
