They have a gluten friendly menu, but as a highly sensitive celiac, I’ve never had an issue. They even can make gluten free pancakes and sometimes will offer gluten free muffins. The only place we go for breakfast.
We just love Ollie's!! Great good and gluten-free options. The staff is friendly and courteous. It's a great mom and pop breakfast joint; it's our favorite in Cumberland!
I moved away from RI 9 years ago. While back home to see family, we visited Davenport's in Cumberland for the extensive gluten free menu to accommodate my celiac. Everything was wonderful, and the Portuguese kale soup especially tasted like childhood and home. Thanks so much.
Super reliable and consisted for a good wrap or sandwich! They have delicious options, including gluten free pizza and wraps which is a life saver for my allergy!
I’ve probably been here about 5 times so far, where I’ve had food twice, and came for the bar once.
This is a vegan place, and is a must to visit for people with allergies/intolerances with a wide menu of gluten free items. I came with a person with gluten intolerance and I’m lactose intolerance and it was nice to not have to choose items super carefully.
It’s very refreshing to have a place in the neighborhood that’s got a wonderful cafe vibe and transforms into a bar at night. They have wonderful speciality cafe drinks as well as alcoholic drinks at night.
As a bonus, they support local artists in the area. They have a little section of the store with greenery items and one with candles, earrings, and other misc goods from artists.
Food was amazing, lots of gluten free options for me. They replace any pasta meals with gluten free pasta. They have gluten free flat breads too. You can even order single clams super delicious. Unfortunately, we spent 2 unnecessarily long hours here mostly just waiting for our waiter and trying to flag him down but he was nowhere to be found. We ended up having to get a hostess to help get our bill and pay. It was very frustrating and ruined the experience.
They have the best gluten free buffalo chicken pizza! It’s always packed at the bar, hard to find a seat. It is definitely a local favorite, I always try to stop in when I’m in the area. It would be nice to have a few more options for GF, but still love it nonetheless.
When I’ve ordered online and left a note about a severe gluten allergy for the entrees it applies to, the food I’ve received has always been was safe and delicious. The portions are also quite generous, and this holds for everything my family has ordered from there.
