This coffee shop is perfectly located downtown. They hands down make the best savory breakfast crepes around. Their drinks are always delicious as well.
They have wonderful gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan free options.
Sidewall is a family favorite! Their gluten-free pizzas are insanely good - you can get virtually any pizza made on gluten-free crust! We've never had an issue with cross-contamination. They do a great job ensuring gluten-free eaters can enjoy their meal. The gluten-free breadsticks are a real treat, too! Save room for ice cream (my favorite is the vegan chocolate)!
The service is great. I got the meatless burger on a gluten free bun. It tasted fine but not like I remembered. I think they mat have changed their meatless patty. This time it upset my stomach. The GF bun was great though.
Great lunch today! Sat outside on the porch under the fans. Service was attentive and helped navigate many gluten free options. We look forward to coming back soon!
The manager went above and beyond to help us! She spent time at our table to understand my gluten-free/dairy-free allergy and needs, while recommending options. The staff followed suite and were incredibly kind and attentive. They were cautious to change gloves and prepare my meal separately. Not to mention, itโs a fun and kid-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
My sub was lukewarm ,the music was too loud in the bathroom and the dinning room. When the i assume manager took my order, he was letting out big sighs and rolled his eyes when I said I needed it to be gluten free bc I have an allergy. Terrible place for me and my autistic partner to have lunch๐
Friendly staff. Did fairly well getting thru the dinner rush with some waiting.
Screwed up my order, though, on something that i actually paid extra for, & they left it off.
Food quality excellent!
So grateful that they offer gluten free options.
Look, food was actually really good. The 3 stars came from the workers. We sat for 20 minutes with menus. I had to ask the front desk if there was going to be someone to take our order. Then it still took another 5 -10 minutes to get someone to acknowledge us. The waitress that helped apologized and said there was a mix up and no one was sure which person was assigned. Well, thankfully, she just took our order. Very simple 2 waters and purple haze. BEC, BLT, and omelet with egg white, spinach, mushrooms and zucchini with gluten free toast, took 10 more minutes to get the waters and purple haze because they put the drink mix away. Then food came out right after. No toast, we were told toast would be out shortly. We finished our food quickly because they were cleaning up tables around us as it was around 2:15 pm by this time, and you close at 2:30 pm. We are respectful of the time. But we did get there at 1:30, so there was plenty of time. They come out with the toast after we are done eating, and it's burnt. Food was delicious, service, not so much. I was comped 5 bucks so I appreciated that, and the waitress that did help us really was apologetic. But when workers are walking by you cleaning tables and getting ready to leave at 1:30 and they see us with menus still on the table, no drinks or coffee, felt like we were just being ignored. And if you want to get out on time then help the people when they come in, don't just let them wait around for 20 minutes.
We dined here because it was convenient to the airport. It is a right decent little build-your-own pita, bowl, salad, ect. quick service restaurant. Nice if you're hungry now. We appreciated the clearly marked Gluten Free items ( vegan meals and ingredients are also clearly marked.) And the unique drinks were fun.
The spaces were clean and the employees were friendly and seemed happy to be there. That's always a plus.
We'd definitely return in the future. Foodie tip for your first visit: observe a couple of people before you going through the line so that you can see the portions and how the meals are assembled; I would have done things a little differently if I'd have been paying a little more attention.
Anyone who has been to a Chick-fil-A knows they are well known not only for their Chick-fil-A sauce but for having friendly, smiling, approachable staff. As my followers know, I have a gluten allergy and need to be careful where and what I eat. On this visit to Chick-fil-A, we got a new trainee as our cashier. He was a bit nervous and definitely needed more experience and help, Lucky for him, he had an experienced trainer. She allowed him time to look and process in order to figure out what he needed to do while still overseeing what he was doing in order to offer correction. When ordering, I let them know of my allergy. I have only had one or two (at other locations), not pass along the information to change gloves and try to avoid cross contamination. She was able to walk the new guy through adding these extra instructions to successfully allow the kitchen to take precautions.
Thank you Simpsonville SC Chick-fil-A for taking the time to train your employees on the importance of allergies. Thank you for your patience and your wonderful smiling faces each time we visit.
I am gluten sensitive and this crew went above and beyond to make sure i got what i wanted. My family was visiting South Carolina for a few days and they accepted us as if we had been patronizing them for years. Great group and very good service!! Highly recommend this place!!!
First time here, but won't be the last!
* Gluten free pancakes were delicious - my (adult) daughter cleaned her plate.
* My spinach-egg-bacon-onion dish ( Sunrise Spinach Scrambler) was so tasty; all ingredients were represented well.
* Perfect grits, must have been cooked by a southerner.
* Great portion sizes.
* Nice atmosphere, great service.
We had an enjoyable evening at Rotie. The venue is beautiful and the staff were attentive. But the food and cocktails were good but not great. The menu is creative and designed to be shared family style.
Similar to the other Stellaโs restaurants, the menu has many gluten free options and is clearly marked.
We will definitely go back and try other options as their location in Bridgeway Station is very convenient and I particularly would like to try one of their boards.
My wife is a severe Celiac (becomes violently I'll if she consumes wheat, rye, oats or barley). It is safe to eat here for Celiacs! The food is hearty and delicious! They have many side dishes and different sauces to compliment the barbecue. Service is quick and kind. I would highly recommend Somqued Barbecue in Simpsonville, SC!
Amazing place with fabulous service and excellent food. They were very accommodating around my gluten intolerance and never let my water glass get even close to empty. I had the shrimp and grits, which were deliciously different than any I have had โup north.โ We also shared a charcuterie tray that was truly next level. Dessert was wonderful. Highly recommend!
What an amazing burger. Order the triple smash burger add bacon! Also gluten free options. I've been searching far and beyond for a great burger. This is the place for sure!
I had 25 minutes for lunch in Simpsonville before hitting an afternoon showing of the new A24 flick, Death of a Unicorn. Too bad I'm gluten-free and can't just drive thru some fast food burger joint like everyone else....Or can I...? ๐ค
Thanks, Culver's, for providing GF buns for your burgers so I can drive-thru and eat junky food real quick in my car and still make it to the movie before the previews are over.
Yeah, it's maybe not the healthiest food choice, but probably beats the alternative of movie theater popcorn and m&m's, right? Queue Anakin and Padme meme...right?
Yum! This place was fast and delicious. They have 4 different large margaritas. I ordered the mangorita and it did not disappoint! The chili poblanos were perfect. They commonly come deep fried, and for me, being gluten-free, it was a perfect choice! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, their prices are very reasonable and they will make you table side guacamole. When I'm in the area, I'll be back. They also offer online ordering for to go convenience.
