We specifically ordered a gluten free Mediterranean pizza, which was clearly labeled on the menu. Our server let us know that he would also let the kitchen know. My daughter was extremely sick for over 4 hours after her meal, and it took hours beyond that to fully recover. I called and spoke with the owner who told me very matter of factly that it was the gyro meat on the pizza - that it needs a binder. No idea why it’s on the gf menu. Complete negligence.
Met friends for dinner and the service was top notch and the food and wine was amazing. I have a wheat allergy and most of the menu is gluten free. I had the shrimp kabob with basmati rice. It was delicious. Highly recommend. Make a reservation! Paid parking lot across the street.
Great gluten-free options with unique choices. If you've never had Lebanese/Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, definitely give it a try! The service was great and we had a beautiful view by the window.
Great restaurant. They say it's Mediterranean and it has a definite Southern flair. They have a great happy hour when small plates are $7. They call them small plates but they are not really it's a generous serving I can recommend the shrimp and polenta as well as the oysters Rockefeller the gluten-free menu is accommodating as well.
Outstanding dining experience. We let our server choose everything (drinks and food) after sharing our preferences. They even accommodate my friend who required gluten free options (and they had quite a few).
Highly recommend the duck appetizer.
Great service!!
Kiera B was our server tonight and she was absolutely amazing. Very sweet and kind and took good care of the people in her sections. She also took really good care of my mom with severe celiacs. Anyone who asks to switch waitresses are missing out, she’s one of the best.
Some of the best Mediterranean food I've had in a very long time. Babaganoush, schwarma, felafel, etc. And lots of gluten-free... including felafel and pita. Didn't appreciate $5.00 gluten-free upcharge for pitas with babaganoush and again for wrap for schwarma.
Got the gluten free pasta with meat sauce and salad with the dressing and without croutons and it was 100% gluten free (no reaction). Oh and the Andes chocolates are also gluten free 🤤
The food and service is great. Dress is casual. They have gluten free options (including pizza). The menu includes salads, sandwiches and heartier entrees. We had a great experience with Montana.
I've been a huge fan of Kairos since they opened. It's the model for a quality "fast casual" food experience that hasn't been matched by any other restaurant I've been to in the Charleston area. Great service, clean restaurant throughout, very quality and healthy food/topping options, and best of all at a great price. There's few restaurants you can make it out of these days with a stomach full of healthy(and gluten free) food for under $12.00. Keep it up Kairos!
My 8 year old daughter has celiac’s. Friends - don’t be alarmed it says “gluten sensitive”. I’ve placed now three orders and have talked each time with a manager - Frank, Ashley and Andrew.
They ensured everything was prepared properly and bagged separately for us that can eat gluten. My child DID NOT get sick. Definitely a good option , since there aren’t many, to get gluten free food!
(Oh our gluten food was awesome as well 🤣)
All of the workers were very lovely and attentive. My drink was never more than halfway empty, my food came fast and they had lovely gluten free and vegan options.
Cava is like a (more delicious) version of Chipolte but with Greek type food. You can choose a bowl or build your own. I must eat gluten free food, and I was happy that everything is GF except the falafel and pita. The food was flavorful and healthy feeling. The staff changed gloves when I asked. I'll be back. It's great to have a restaurant that can prepare food for for my dietary restriction.

Wonderful dinner experience with delicious food. They had sliced cucumber to have with the saganaki and the gluten free shrimp santorini was so warm and tasty.
Staff are very attentive to food sensitivities. Someone came out to check on my gluten free order, because of my sauce choice, was Creamy White Mushroom and not gf. I appreciated them checking, but my order was well worth any discomfort I experienced after. It was DELICIOUS, BEST DISH I EVER HAD AT OLIVE GARDEN. If only they could produce a gf white sauce to make it completely gf!
We visited this yummy restaurant twice while in Myrtle Beach. They have gluten free options, even pancakes. The lemon ricotta version was phenomenal...and massive! We tried the latte, all of which were scrumptious. The Mediterranean omelet and lobster brie omelet were also delicious. If we are back in the area again, we will absolutely return!
Ali Baba is an absolute gem in the realm of Mediterranean cuisine in Spartanburg!
The gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options are plentiful and equally delicious. As someone with dietary restrictions, it's incredible to find a restaurant that goes above and beyond to accommodate. Ali Baba is the first Mediterranean restaurant that I’ve ever found that offers gluten-free pita bread! It was soft, warm, and seriously delicious! The falafel gyro and the hummus platter were fantastic!
We sat outside for dinner. The cute tables and umbrellas provided the perfect dining ambiance! The owner, Eric, even came outside to introduce himself and thank us for dining at Ali Baba!
Ali Baba has my highest recommendation. Whether you're a local or just passing through, pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed!
Excellent food but very long wait. Our server, Jonathan, was very entertaining. The parking lot is small, but there is overflow parking if you need it. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available.
Green Olive is a gem near USC! The food is incredibly tasty, delicious, and fresh. We tried both the chicken and lamb shawarma platters, and they were fantastic. The salads were crisp and flavorful, complementing the meats perfectly. Plus, everything is very affordable, making it a great spot for a quick, satisfying Mediterranean meal. They have pizza so I’ll be back! They also have gluten free and vegan options.
We dined here because it was convenient to the airport. It is a right decent little build-your-own pita, bowl, salad, ect. quick service restaurant. Nice if you're hungry now. We appreciated the clearly marked Gluten Free items ( vegan meals and ingredients are also clearly marked.) And the unique drinks were fun.
The spaces were clean and the employees were friendly and seemed happy to be there. That's always a plus.
We'd definitely return in the future. Foodie tip for your first visit: observe a couple of people before you going through the line so that you can see the portions and how the meals are assembled; I would have done things a little differently if I'd have been paying a little more attention.
Seemed like they were training new waitresses. Nothing earthshattering, but we had to wait a whike for straws for our drinks, then, we asked for napkins, thinking that would get us silverware, too. Instead, we were given paper napkins. asked twice after.our entrees were brought out for silverware before it was brought, with cloth napkins. Tuesday night and not very busy. Ordered gluten free pasta and they were out. Chalk that up to post hurricane supply issues. Food was very good. Grilled chicken parm. was perfectly cooked, plentiful and flavorful.
All the food was excellent, fast (even for to go), and service was so nice and welcoming! You get good food portions, and is fresh and hot. Will definitely be one of our go to places in our rotation to eat! Inside was beautiful and clean as well. Lots of gluten free dishes as well which is a big plus for me! 😊
Ordered a gluten free charcuterie board off of the gluten free lunch menu for my 8-year-old daughters who both have celiac disease. Checked the menu at the hostess stand before even sitting down, just to make sure it was a celiac friendly restaurant.
The hostess brought it to the table…it was GORGEOUS! We were thrilled that such a beautiful dish was gluten free! My daughters immediately started eating. Several bites later, the server comes up, starts snatching things off of my daughters’ plates, and says “this isn’t the gluten free bread” and starts collecting just the bread…that already touched the cheese and meat. He said “it’s okay, they only took a few bites of the bread”. And I said “it’s actually not okay; they’re severely allergic” and he just walked off in silence…ignoring me. Every time he came to the table after that, he wouldn’t speak or make eye contact. It was so awkward. Literally weirdest experience in a restaurant ever. We boxed up the cheese and meat and brought it home to feed our dog.
$200 bill for what should’ve been a pleasant, happy lunch; and I’m dealing with severe allergic reactions this evening and sick kids. Do not recommend for allergy families or anyone with dietary sensitivities.
The service was great and so was the salmon! I was disappointed to see that many options that should have been naturally gluten-free weren't but overall it was very good. The waiters were great about bringing a salad without croutons and we were pleased.
We were looking to try a new restaurant and we're glad we stopped here! Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. I have a gluten and dairy allergy but the waitress was very quick in telling me which food was safe for me and it was good. I wish I remembered her name because she was great! Overall a great experience and whenever I go back to myrtle beach, I'll be sure to stop in here. Love all the lights too!
On a whim, decided to eat somewhere different and tried here based on reviews.
Being gluten free, it was a little hard at first trying to find something for me on the menu because I could not have Pita. Upon ordering, I was helped along with alternate options. I thought rice would be a safe bet, but the gentleman taking my order was astute to let me know that it contained pasta. So, I was able to have a bit more Hummus.
Everything was very fresh and tasted great! I loved the green salad with the dressing. I’m not usually a fan of vinegar pickled veggies, but I was able to eat these with no issues.
The Lamb and Beef Gyro meat had great flavor, but was a bit greasy for my palate. I was not used to that and it gave me an extremely rumbly stomach later on.
The food was very authentic, so I would go again, just choosing a different menu item next time.
Food was just okay. I’m very confused by the reviews. For anyone that’s had middle eastern food, this lacked quite a bit of flavor. It was fresh though, and certainly wasn’t bad. Pita House is light years better for the same food. I would have given it 4 stars, but I was extremely disappointed at how the kitchen staff treated the cashier and server. He was clearly neurodiverse and doing an incredible job. He was the light of the entire place, and the people in the kitchen treated him like crap. Their menu is labeled gluten free, but the dishes are not gluten free by default. They label it gluten free and then throw it all on top of a pita. You can’t do this, lol. You need to label it gluten free BY REQUEST. I had to go back to the register and let them know not to put it on a pita after I saw other food coming it. This is when the man in the kitchen completely snapped on the poor cashier just trying to remedy the situation. Unacceptable. The woman (manager? Owner?) was sweet, but something needs to be done about the chefs/kitchen staff.
Greek salads were barely any veggies. Taste was ok but not a true Greek salad like Detroit has.
Gluten free pizza crust wasn’t horrible but the cheese was melted and blah tasted like high school cafeteria cheese and wasn’t even browned it was just melted cheese like in a microwave kinda strange.
Friendly staff, so many tasty choices, clean environment. I love all the many bold flavors in one bowl. I rarely get such awesome options being gluten/dairy free. It was like a party in my mouth.
The owner was there and greeting people at the door along with his staff when we came. Even on a very busy afternoon he made time to talk to our table and every other table there like we were all guests in his home. The staff was helpful with gluten free foods and polite and prompt.
It’s definitely a family place and even has an arcade for kids to play in.
I can't believe how friendly the staff are at this restaurant. The food was hot and fresh, the service was fast, and the portions were generous. Additionally, the garlic sauce was good and had a strong flavor. I highly recommend it, but 1 hope they add a larger gluten-free healthy menu.
Wife and I love CAVA for a quick, healthy lunch. She's gluten sensitive and their menu is very gluten friendly for her to choose options/substitutions to avoid any problems
