We visited Amari over the weekend. Upon arrival they checked our vaccination cards which we appreciated. We were a party of 5 and we decided to try the Omakase 2. My husband explicitly spoke to the server regarding his gluten allergy. He also explained to the server that he is okay with soy sauce, since there are only trace amounts of gluten (tens of thousands of times less than in something like bread).
We all enjoyed our 3 courses full of flavor. However the last course was a dessert full of gluten that the server gave to my husband completely disregarding his gluten allergy. After having a few bites, my husband noticed that in the dessert there was cake inside and asked the server if this contains gluten. The server confirmed it and walked away without apologizing. An hour or two later my husband was not feeling well.
Overall, flavor of the food was great but the service was disappointing.
