The restaurant isn't much to look at, but you shouldn't be going there to look at the building. The food reminds me of the home-cooked dishes my Asian mother would make (but different). It's food for the soul and always makes me feel better.
That being said,
1. The beef broth based soup is simple but so good! A generous portion of beef and veggies. The broth brought me back to life.
2. The yuca fries are perfectly fried and have the best fluffy insides. It's like eating a potato wedge, but has an amazing crunch to it!
3. The special plate - the crunchy pork belly is to die for. I love a random fried egg with my dinner (reminds me of home). Has a good portion of various protein. their rice is just plain good.
4. Their cheese rolls, I believe they're gluten free - and pair well with the soup.
Having them on door dash is a plus when I'm stuck behind my desk.
