Hong's Gourmet

We were staying at the Saratoga Oaks Lodge for our son's wedding at Saratoga Springs. I mention the above because it made Hong's well situated for the 30+ rehearsal dinner. The food was indeed gourmet. All of it was made with attention to detail and served fresh. I could make a meal just of their delicious egg drop soup. It is exceptional. Do try the lemon chicken. The service was excellent. The staff did not insist we stay with a banquet menu, which I'm sure would have been easier for them. They were great about letting us order a la carte, including gluten free and vegetarian options. They didn't bat an eye when 10 guests walked in an hour late and we needed more food. I owe them for that. The cost was more than reasonable. Everyone raved about the dinner for the next 2 days. Thank you, Hong's, for a memorable family event!

the food and service is excellent! it never disappoints. the atmosphere is dark and can be cold... that's the only thing I would change. my sis is gluten free and they are super accommodating and can make many things GF.
