As someone with Celiac Disease it is often challenging vetting places to eat at. Im glad to know that HuHot in the springs is able to take safety precautions that really eased my mind regarding the handling of my food. They gave me a separately colored bowl to indicate my allergen, scrubbed the grill (ELBOW GREASE SCRUB), and sectioned off areas for them to prep my food. The sauces are marked with "gluten free" label above. I do wish they were marked below just to be sure on which sauces I was grabbing. Noodles were separate from veggies and far enough away from meats so no cross contamination there. I did notice that they changed the menu where shrimp is now only after 4 lol. I try to maintain a pescatarian diet and crab is not an option. Next time I would bring my gluten tester to ensure, but I did not get glutened after eating. I really appreciate their time and professionalism regarding my food and the severity of my allergen. They didnt make it seem like a hassle doing everything they needed for my safety precautions for celiac, and they really just made me feel really normal especially as it seemed like the opening lunch rush. I cant thank you all enough for being amazing but the people that were working that day thank you all for what you do and the care you place into peoples food. This was a big part of my trip visiting the springs and a huge part of my disability.
