I came here for dinner last night and was blown away by the flavor of the dishes here! I had the house special gluten salad (can be served cold or warmed up), braised beef noodle soup, and the braised pork rice! Everything tasted so authentic and flavorful. It was like eating at your Shanghainese grandma’s house and she just freshly prepared food for you.
The beef noodle soup had a rich broth that tasted like it has been stewing for hours. The beef was fall apart tender and the noodles were the perfect consistency of chewiness. The braised pork rice was also very flavorful and served with two different types of pickled vegetables, cabbage and housemade chili.
The family that runs the business was very sweet and chatted with us for a bit. They say they make everything as home cooked meals. They also treated us with some milky white bone broth soup. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!
