We are so sad that this was a negative experience because we rented two globes and were very much looking forward to the experience over Christmas break with our family. When we arrived, I let them know I had celiac disease as well as a dairy allergy and the server, Cole‘s response was, “gooood luck!” (Complacent tone) Seemed very unconcerned and honestly we probably should’ve just left at that point because it wasn’t taken very seriously. After going into extensive detail about the allergies including that, I can’t have butter because that’s still dairy, and what we needed and him repeating it back, we thought we would be OK. My food came out with two pieces of gluten filled toast with butter on top so both gluten and dairy present. I asked them to please remake it without the allergens and it came back half the size half the hash and only one piece of toast. While I did appreciate that they told me they toasted the bread separately nowhere near their communal toaster I was sad to see that it was half the food when it was done right. My husband loves waffles, and unfortunately, his came out completely, soggy, not cooked all the way with canned peaches on top. We also sat and waited for just basic cups of water for 20 minutes or more and every time the waiter came to talk to us he would leave the snow globe open while chatting so we got really cold with our toes, freezing specifically. We had two globes with our families and one of the globes got food 20+ minutes before the other. The whole experience took over two hours as well, which was disappointing for a simple breakfast. We asked to speak to the manager so that we could let them know our experience so we could hopefully give them feedback to improve. He walked by us multiple times and then started busing tables when I finally went and asked him if he was the manager. he listened and then said “noted” was all. Unfortunate that there wasn’t more concern. I hope they can make improvements in the future so that others can enjoy the beautiful ambience of the globes.
