We went thanks to the recommendation of celiaquita.com, looking to enjoy some gluten-free pancakes/crepes and... wonderful!
They explained to us how they worked and are very careful with the issue of cross contamination.
There are many options for pancakes and crepes (sweet and savory), smoothies, slushies, etc., for celiacs.
We opted for two gluten-free crepes: death by chocolate and another customized to taste. Delicious!
Thank you for thinking about the celiac community and for doing so well!
A ten out of ten for everything. Super fast. Very friendly and efficient. Lots of gluten-free options. The gluten-free pizza is great. The owner, Salvatore, makes you feel right at home.
Very good treatment and food.
We were a couple and one of us is Celiac, not gluten intolerant but zero gluten tolerance (no bread crumbs or cross contamination).
When we called the place they told us that we could eat pizza but they told us inside the restaurant that it was better not because the pizza is made in the same oven and better not because of cross contamination (which is appreciated, to prevent any contact with gluten). They gave us several alternatives such as gluten-free pasta, a hamburger with gluten-free bread and gluten-free sauces and it was a success😄😌
The Gluten Free Bread was delicious and the Black Angus beef was delicious adding the option of potatoes made in the pan and delicious too.
On the other hand, I ordered a normal pizza, the Diavola, and it was exquisite, the dough was brutal and very well toasted, aligned and very delicious. A real diavola and not medium spicy without spicy salami like in many coastal places.
Thank you for taking care of celiacs and offering good service in both food and customer service.
We will return!!!
Super delicious pizzas and they have 100% gluten-free food, everywhere I have problems with it and here everything suited me perfectly, waiters very careful and attentive with it
Hidden Gem. Great service and Great menu choices. Amazing cocktails at a fair price also available. Food is all gluten free and Delicious. Dessert was flamboyant and scrumptious.
We came in to the restaurant with high expectations, since they had a detailed allergen list and had some gluten-free options and it looked very nice. The decor is 10/10.
However, I wouldn’t go here again. Why? Because this is not Mexican food as I personally know it. No, I’m not Mexican, but my friends are and when they cook for us, it’s different, mainly: more flavourful. Maybe I asked for the ‘wrong’ dish, because I see many positive reviews, however, if a restaurant serves a dish I believe it should be tasty.
The melted cheese I had was great, the stuffed jalapeños were not amazing, the chilli con carne was bland and not spicy and the tostadas that I had were fine (see photo) but not great. A bit bland as well, under salted, no spices etc.
The service was very friendly though. When I asked for some lemon to make my dish more palatable, it was served. They were friendly too, but seemed a bit stressed/rushed at times. Prices were good, only the jalapeño portion was on the smaller side.
All in all; the restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy but the food they serve seems like a less flavourful European adaptation of real Mexican food. Gluten-free option are great. It’s possible that it’s to your taste, but certainly not to mine. In my opinion, it’s better if they create a smaller menu with dishes the people are enthusiastic about.
Highly recommended. Service, food and location were all great. We ordered the wrong starter and the waitress immediately offered to take the order back and bring us the “real” one. Very accommodating and friendly! In terms of taste, everything is really delicious! Gluten-free pasta also available.
I have been to this restaurant several times because they have gluten-free options and excellent treatment for people with celiac disease, controlling cross contamination and always with a smile, which is more than grateful. Plus, they have gluten-free bread. The food is generally very delicious, highlighting its delicious rice dishes. More than recommended.
I have celiac disease and they gave me a delicious gluten-free pizza. They have a menu with many options for celiacs. The staff is very attentive and pleasant, I will return for sure.
Restaurant recommended for celiacs. Despite the price (a little expensive, as a personal opinion), they have gluten-free options and they take care of the details. For example, we ordered bread with tomato and aioli to share and they brought me an individual tray with gluten-free bread. This treatment is appreciated in a city where there are few options for celiacs.
I really liked going again.
There are gluten-free options, the burger was very good, the quality of the bread is very good. And it is a great success that we can access it for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
