My first time in a Blue lagoon and very impressed. Comfortable booths for eating-in. Friendly and helpful service. Brilliant for gluten free fish and chips, which was perfectly cooked and comes with gluten free vinegar and Heinz tomato sauce. They also offer gf smoked sausage, and fritters.
As Coeliac, don't recommend the gluten free pasta at all, overcooked, mashed. Over charge gf started when I was advised that I could choose the 2 gf course menu, same as with gluten however we were charge as two separate courses not as a menu deal.
I was in this coffee shop last Wednesday with elderly people some not able to go to the counter so I asked the young girl if she could take our order at our tables as we had 2 the girl and the young chap who prepared our rolls were very helpful and also I’m Gluten Free so I enjoyed what I had I definitely will be back again when I’m in Perth first class
Unusual and varied menu, I went for a burger which was excellent. It was a Tuesday night and still pretty busy. The decor is smart and I'll visit again when next in Perth, possibly to have the monkfish curry or curry pizza. They have gluten free options and the sticky toffee pudding looked great.
Friendly staff and atmosphere, very busy at 11.30am with families. Nice decaf coffee and sweet potato fries. However, had a gluten free burger and wouldn't recommend. The bun was dry and stale tasting, the burger was dripping grease and the cheese was cheap burger slices with old looking lettuce. The menu stated select a side of choice to be included but upon paying I realised I had been charged an extra fee. Hadnt been told about this when ordering so it was a surprise. I'd rather take £15 and spend it on a proper meal for lunch instead of a mediocre burger. For people who don't have dietary requirements this place looks great, with lovely sandwiches, cakes, salads etc but the GF menu is poor and it doesn't cater for those who are also dairy free. It has a very fast food style atmosphere which isn't something I personally like but some folk love that vibe. They have a good looking vegan and veggie menu and you'd be spoilt for choice there. The staff early work super hard and are rushed off their feet, so no complaints about the service.
Wonderful breakfast, Michelle couldn't have been more helpful. Sorted me out with gluten free options that were delicious. Super quick service delivered with a smile and a great attitude. Thanks Michelle, we will be back!
We visited a few weeks ago and would highly recommend Hinterland! Family friendly, very accommodating and fantastic service. I can't have gluten, dairy or soy and yet there were plenty of options, which is very rare. The food was delicious!

Great little restaurant. Very warm welcome. Food fantastic and they can do almost every dish gluten free. We had the ribs for starter, combination satay and lemon chicken (done in potato starch) and it all tasted incredible.
A couple of good gluten free plus vegan baked potato options, and at least one GF+VE cake offering when we went. Upstairs inside large mountaineering equipment shop. Plenty of parking. Recommend.
Lovely food and can cater for allergens on request, I had the fish poached so no gluten or milk, tasty. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice clean environment. Well worth a visit.
Beautiful fresh decor and absolutely charming hosts. I had a very good Chai latte, my partner had a brilliant scone, and everyone else’s food looked and smelled delicious (breakfasts and lunches). they also offer gluten free bread and cakes, which is very handy!
Fabulous friendly restaurant with great vegan and gluten free options. Really tasty and can’t believe we have been before - we will be back soon. Highly recommend!
It was my first time in Perth and my first time in Maya's Kitchen and Bar. The experience was perfect: the food was amazing and the service was incredible, they were really nice. They have also a lot of gluten free options, so my sister and dad had not issues here.
If we have the opportunity of visiting Perth again, we will definetly return to this place ♥️
Chef seemed very knowledgeable about gluten intolerance and cooked my husband's frites in a different pan with fresh oil. The moules and frites were delicious.

They were exceptionally accommodating for being gluten free.

Came in for a little birthday lunch and, my goodness, I had such an amazing time! Everyone is so friendly and lovely, so off the bat we felt incredibly welcome. It’s wonderful when the food is not the only highlight. Speaking of the food, however, it completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve been craving an onion soup for a while so I had to order that as a starter. It was the most flavourful, perfectly balanced onion soup I’ve ever had. If you have some free time for lunch, go in just to experience it. For mains we had the arancini and risotto, which were equally delicious and well thought out, but the soup was a particular stand-out for me. Also, brilliant chips. And tons of lovely cake options (yes, we had a big lunch). This was our first visit but I am very much looking forward to trying more from the menu. Soo many gluten free options as well! My husband was delighted. Do not go in expecting your average avocado-on-toast-cafe. The chefs are exceptional and this is truly well thought out food made with love. I am sorry for gushing lyrically for ages, but I had such a great time today!
