Chef seemed very knowledgeable about gluten intolerance and cooked my husband's frites in a different pan with fresh oil. The moules and frites were delicious.

Overall we liked this restaurant for the menu selection, execution and value for money. If you have allergens, I would avoid. There is no allergen matrix available so even simple gluten intolerance meant choosing from menu then having to consult with owner. Very concerning if you have shellfish, nut or any other serious allergy as the kitchen is so small I doubt there is any cross-contamination control. However, I would recommend this restaurant if these aren’t an issue. Food was tasty, inexpensive French Malbec was delicious, draught Pilsner was cold & good, ingredients were good and the server was lovely.
