If you love fries half as much as I do, this is definitely a place to come! Their loaded/drunk fries with carne asada??? Oh my goodness. The guacamole had just the right amount of spice, the Pico wasn’t too citrusy, the fries are FRESH CUT potatoes, the meat seasoned to perfection. The melted cheese? The aioli on top?…. Like woah, I’m blown away. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Also, the street corn was good! Was piping hot!
*the drunken fries are gluten free for those that are wondering*
They have a dedicated gluten free frier and they have gluten free onion rings and gluten free meatloaf. One of my favorites is their gluten free banana bread. I come here often. This is for me, comfort food. I love this restaurant it is one of the only places a person who has celiac disease can go to and also order desert and coffee at the end of a meal rather than just watching everyone else enjoy. I usually sit outside on the porch with my dog. Sometimes we just come in and get frozen latkes and meatloaf from the freezer I feel at home here and kind of has the feels like I'm raiding my mom's kitchen to take food home ...lol.
This place is BOMB. Amazing food and cute interior. Plus the owners are super friendly. They have a gluten free vegan chicken sammie that is so good you will want to order a second one to take home and eat later. Yum.
Family friendly place with pretty large portions. The service was nice and we sat outside. Feels a little worn down but it’s a staple so it makes sense. Food was great. Good gluten free / vegan / keto options as well
Love bjs! Great restaurant. Parking is a lil tight at this location. Our waitress wasn’t the best but food was good and they have gluten free options 😊 (including gluten free pazookies)
Some of the food was very mediocre, unseasoned unsalted tasteless. The food looks really good in the pictures but honestly, it needed a little bit more development. The gluten-free waffles were really great and the creams were really good. Some of the bowls or salads have pretty fresh ingredients, but lack a lot of taste. Most people were getting the breakfast options. They looked really good, but those are pretty straightforward. The coffee was really good and recommended.
The place is super packed on the weekend so be prepared to wait in line and to wait for a table . Atmosphere is really nice coffee shop vibes and usually a lot of young kids running around on the weekends as well.
The smallest CPK I have seen. Parking is a challenge though we found a space at the other side of the parking lot. Not very busy at 6pm on a Monday. Both inside and outside seating options. Seated right away and served immediately. Waiter knew about the gluten free options and I had the peperoni pizza. It tasted great and I did not get sick. Very convenient location after watching tapings at the Sony Studios down the road.
Pricey but delicious with lots of healthy options. All made with great quality fresh veg. I had the caramelized chickpeas. I wouldnt normally order a dish like this but I was in a rush. I totally loved it. Flavors were perfect. A little sweet, a little acidic. Very filling with the panisse, which was like a polenta cake. I felt healthy and satiated. I also ordered a gluten free coffee cake and it was absolutely incredible! Best GF thing I’ve had in a while. Black sesame coffee was a bit sweet for me but fun and yummy. Wouldn’t order again but enjoyed it.
I am a Celiac with high sensitivity to cross contamination. I ordered from here today and started walking home when they called me and let me know that a newer employee used the same knife as with regular bread and that they'd make me a new sandwich. A simple mistake and very impressed with their follow-through on protocol. Excellent service.
I was shocked that they did not know what items on there menu were gluten free. The manager was rude to my friend when she asked for gluten free choices and seemed like she couldn't be bothered. Then they got my friends order wrong twice. Very interesting that a place billing itself as healthy seemed to have no experience with gluten intolerant people.
Food is phenomenal in flavor and the ladies who gave us service were excellent! They helped us choose a gluten free option that was full of fabulous flavors! We ordered the Chicken Tiki Masala Burrito deconstructed in a bowl. Veggies, potatoes, chicken and sauces to die for! Super saucy and delicious! On the way out we ordered another bowl for dinner with rice added for the left over sauce and some Rose Lassi and Oat Milk Chai drinks. Everything was so good I am already looking forward to our next visit! Don’t hesitate, order and enjoy NOW!
Food is sooo delicious!
We ordered club sandwich, was served with salad, pizza ( I felt like it was just made from scratch, the door is soo fresh), and gluten free pancakes, didn't like their espresso
INCREDIBLE! Super delicious, and exceptional service! As a happy Blaze enthusiast from the East Coast, I was originally disappointed in mostly all Blaze locations in LA County (I've been to pretty much all of them), because there was mean and rushy service across the board. I routinely would get bad reactions when simply asking for a gluten free pizza and vegan cheese.
That all CHANGED today when I visited the Culver City location, the environment was welcoming and clean, a totally different feel entirely! When mentioning gluten free, the server grabbed new gloves and made it a very smooth process, smile on his face included. I felt like a happy and appreciated customer! Stop in and see for yourself, you will love this Blaze location specifically and I am happy to say, this will be my Blaze of choice in LA from here on out, I'm so glad I visited it!
Great food and super easy pick up! My catering fell through and I needed healthy gluten free options for an event I was throwing. Louis was very flexible about the fast turn around time and even included plates, napkins, and serving tools/silverware with my catering order which saved me another trip! All my guests complimented how good the food and dips were! Will definitely be using again!
I strongly recommend Sara the Wine Bar on Sepulveda in Culver City for anyone who enjoys wine and Italian cuisine.
I fell in love with the gluten free Polenta! Under the hot plates section and only $13, the home-style corn meal is on a bed of homemade bolognese sauce, topped with Parmesan cheese, which can be left off if you’re lactose intolerant.
The service is top notch and they have a good amount of indoor seating, as well as a bar. To make a reservation, call during their business hours - they open at 5pm.
Bottles of wine are 10% off, so our group shared 3 of the chilled red 2020 vintage of Domaine de Fenouillet Ventoux, Rhone, France, which went from $44 to $40. If you’re going with multiple people, I recommend saving and splitting a bottle.
Delicious thin bread pizza! Great vibe! Friendly service !!! Gluten free options also.
This place is a must to grab a slice of pizza or two or order boxes of pizza. Recommended !!
The Fettuccine Alfredo was perfect and just the right portion size. Food 5 stars
Jason, the bartender was professional and on point and left me alone it eat my meal in peace. Jason 5 stars
Great job! I'd come back.
I would recommend that you provided more gluten free pasta options. Every pasta is available gluten free but most restaurants only offer penne. Penne sucks and a lot of people are looking for gluten free options.
Thank you to Ike’s for offering options for gluten free people! Most of the staff was very accommodating and cheerful. One employee had an awful attitude, but hopefully they will correct this. I won’t let it affect the stars given as the food was great. So happy to have a gluten free sandwich option near me!
Culver City's Holy Cow employees and manager are super nice, helpful people, and the food that I am able to eat there with my food allergies is darn tasty. The folks there know the food well, so can guide you through the menu to help you avoid what you must. Tonight I had tender and juicy -not dry- ribs, plain grilled corn on the cob, and greens. All were simple and tasty. If you avoid gluten, soy and dairy, you can use the Texas and Carolina Mustard sauces, but tonight the ribs were moist and flavorful enough not to need and sauce at all.
Delicious gluten free pasta options with great cocktails and wine to accompany your meal. This is one of our regular spots for date night or gathering with friends.
What an absolute gem. This is my favorite spot in Culver City. Everything is of the highest quality without being pretentious. The prices are appropriate for the area. They have a diverse set of savory and sweet that can satisfy almost anyone. Vegan and gluten free options are available across the spectrum.
I love this place. You should go.
Good salads. Almost everything can be made vegan or gluten free. The salads are smaller than I thought they would be for the price. The space is nice and open, with the park area right outside.
I love Golden China! The food is delicious, delivery is fast and free, and the staff are very friendly and very accommodating.
I tried them for the first time while my mom was visiting from out of town and I've been hooked ever since!
My mother and I are both vegan, and she's gluten free, which can make finding a good restaurant a challenge. The folks at Golden China were very knowledgeable on the menu and were willing and able to answer all our questions, and even make a few modifications to suit our needs.
My mom has since returned home, but she's told me several times that Golden China will be our first stop when she's back.
I would highly recommend the soft tofu and eggplant hotpot - under the vegetarian chef's specials. My mom's favorite is the mock chicken and broccoli.
Great cuisine. Huge, delicious dosas. Nice service. The restaurant filled up for lunch, and seems very popular. One drawback was that the booths were quite firm and not super comfortable. Food choices are available for gluten-sensitive and onion-and-garlic-sensitive folks.
Amazing location and owners. I wasn’t able to use my card and they take Apple Pay as well and cash. I got the chicken Shawarma plate with coleslaw and added side of falafel with hummus. Everything was exquisite, delicious, amazing organic and I am happy to have gluten free options. I enjoy that there’s also vegetarian options available, and they are open late. The quantity of the items are very large and shareable and overall such a good experience and the owners beyond kind highly recommend this place kind of bumped out I got to experience it my last day on my trip. Will definitely be returning
I liked the atmosphere here. It felt relaxed like I was in someone’s family room. I don’t find too many coffee shops like this anymore. My black drip coffee was solid and I was grateful that they had a gluten free flourless chocolate cake that I could eat. They also have dairy free smoothies. The unpretentious and welcoming atmosphere made it so I could forget about work for awhile and flip through a coffee table book.
I love this place! Pho all day! Chicken or Rare Steak is the best! Combination Fried Rice is also amazing! They have gluten free options also! Never get an allergy response. Jesse is a sweetheart and the ladies ( and gents) that work there are always so helpful and quick to fix any issues. Been a customer for years and will never stop coming in for the Best Pho in LA!
