Preface: I have a non-celiac gluten intolerance. I am HIGHLY sensitive, I usually can't even eat anything that's processed in the same factory as items that contain gluten.
That being said we are on vacation and I took a chance on BJs because they have many items marked as GF. The waitress recommended the cauliflower crust pizza because she thought it tasted better than regular, and customers love it. She wasn't wrong! I got BBQ chicken on the cauliflower crust and it was SO good. I was concerned because I forgot to ask if they use separate equipment for baking their GF pizzas. I also had an entire GF pazookie to myself and not only did it still taste amazing, I'm well into the next day and I haven't even had a twinge of joints aching- which is huge! Generally I'll start reacting within hours of eating gluten.
Obviously it's still a shared kitchen so cross contamination is going to be a risk but I'm glad I took a chance this time! And our waitress Kayla B #207 was so awesome and helpful, and super understanding with our ND kiddo.
Ordered a Gluten free Vegan Pizza, and it was burnt quater inches on edges.
Tried to call store regarding quality of pie and nobody answered
Very poor quality and service.
Really good food, great options for gluten free and vegetarians. They were very nice and courteous. Lamb kabobs and hummus tasted great. Thank you for a refreshingly good dinner!
I first discovered the benefits of Red Robin when we were traveling through Coeur d'Alene with our grandchildren. They have a great menu for children that is priced well. The food is delicious. They offer gluten-free dairy-free options for me.
I love Burma light, as someone with Dietary Restrictions they make my life so easy, & most importantly delicious! I love the Tea Leaf Salad, & Nan-Gyi-Dok, both gluten free, they are heavenly!
We got a catering order at work with multiple sandwiches. A few were labeled gluten free, so I was very excited because I have celiac disease. After I ate my sandwich I looked up which one I ate "not so fried chicken" and it says can't request gluten free. So I called and they confirmed the krispies on it and the slaw is not gluten free! So now I wait for a reaction!! Very disappointed!
The best! We’ve traveled far and wide and absolutely love the food here. They even have gluten free food safe for my Celiac kiddos. It’s the only restaurant we miss since moving away.
WOW! A pizza place with interesting and unlimited toppings, friendly bunch of kids plus all under $10...what's not to like...
The 10 inch pizza for $9.99 is a steal, especially with a choice of 25 UNLIMITED toppings at NO added cost. Honestly, I havent seen a place like this. The taste is fresh and complements the entire vibe. The gluten free and vegetarian options are available at a small added cost. Happy to head back, even with the 1 hour drive to Folsom to get this :)
Can accommodate gluten free requirements and there are a lot of options. Authentic/delicious Thai food, may have been the best in this area! I have been here for dozens of times, never had a dish that was bad!
Great California club sandwich! I appreciate their attention to detail in maintaining a gluten-free environment and preventing cross-contamination. The bacon is perfectly cooked, crispy and crunchy just the way I like it.
Conveniently located right off the highway, Mikuni Folsom has been a go-to sushi spot for years, known for its fresh ingredients, creative rolls, and lively atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for their Meal for 2 deal, taking advantage of happy hour specials, or indulging in a sushi feast, there’s always something to love.
Start with the Tempura Green Beans—crispy, flavorful, and highly addictive. The BBQ White Tuna is smoky and tender, while the Freaky Edamame adds a fun twist to a classic favorite. They also offer gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it an easy choice for all dietary preferences.
For something light but bold, the Albacore Pepperfin is a standout, with thinly sliced albacore tuna, citrus soy dressing, and jalapeños, delivering just the right amount of heat and acidity. If you love spice, the Spicy Combo (BBQ White Tuna, Spicy Tuna Roll, Midtown Roll) brings a perfect balance of heat and texture.
For something more indulgent, the Annie Roll and Incredible Roll are both must-tries, packed with spicy tuna, panko shrimp, avocado, fresh fish, and a torch-seared finish. The layers of flavor and texture make each bite unforgettable.
Mikuni is a staple in Folsom’s food scene, and while it can get busy during peak times, the wait is never too long and always worth it. Whether you're a longtime regular or visiting for the first time, you'll leave already planning your next trip back.
Stopped in for lunch after hiking on the bike trail. I have gluten issues and had a gluten free pizza n a side salad. It was yummy and affordable so I'll be back. We enjoyed outside seating.
The atmosphere was lovely. Open, light and spacious. We went for lunch and there wasn’t a wait early, but by the time we left there was a ten minute wait for tables.
The server was polite and efficient and other staff were also attentive.
We shared four dishes and they were all fantastic.
Pork fried rice was good. The Szchuan Garden with shrimp was spicy and delicious. Cashew chicken was flavorful (the chicken is lightly breaded, so be sure to ask, if you have gluten intolerance) and the Kung Pao chicken was very flavorful with a nice kick!
We will definitely eat there again.
The price was a little high, but within range of any good restaurant these days.
Being that it's hard to go to an italian resturant being gluten free and having options, this place will make a version of what you want. The staff is knowledgable and work with your needs. As well as the food being outstanding.
This place is super popular. Be prepared to park on the street or in overflow parking lot.
Great happy hour. Gluten free options were definitely a plus. Try the pretzel and Rasberry Sour. Both were amazing!
Fabulous! Bloody Marys with avocado poached eggs on tst! (me) Steak and eggs (hubby) gluten free (my son) and French toast (grand son) and from all of us if it's a 10 star we would have given it 11!!!!!!!!
Great food for the price, good menu selection and seasonal items. They also have a gluten sensitive menu. Happy hour available and brunch on the weekends. Inside, outside, bar, or regular table seating. Dogs welcome on outdoor patio. Folsom location is generally busy, arrive early or late to avoid waiting.
First time customer. I would recommend reservations. They have gluten free option's. The whole menu is great. The drink selections are incredible. The steaks were perfect and the mashed Potatoes are delicious. Creme Brulee incredible.
Ugh. I love this place so I hate that I am writing this review. Ordered take out for the first time today. I usually love Chicago fire and we usually dine in. I eat gluten free and it has always been delicious here. Today it was definitely a different recipe than before and I think it was inflated prices as well. One Med deep dish and one small gluten free came to $66! For the price and the horrible drive in the rain, this all made for a one star dinner. Both Pizzas ended up chewy and were not their usual quality.
For Celiac's and everyone, This family run restaurant is fantastic! There were five of us and everyone loved all of their dish's. I am celiac (gluten allergy) and it was soo refreshing to see gluten free hamburger buns available. Not only was the bun super fresh but it appeared to be homemade. The hamburger was hand formed and the whole burger was delicious! When I placed my order and told the waiter about my allergy he was super knowledgeable about gluten on their menu (so comforting if you're celiac) and set me up with a side of salad with Caesar dressing...I have never ever tasted a better Caesar dressing, there is no way it came from a bottle, it was out of this world!
We can't wait to go back!
I went here for date night with my husband, we had made reservations, and needed them for a Monday night. We had appetizers and drinks at the bar before our reservation was ready, the service was great and they transferred our tab to the table. The cocktails were really high quality and the bartender gave helpful tips on wine options.
Our meal was delicious, I had lobster tail and filet mignon, everything was delicious. I am gluten free and they were able to answer my questions and provided alternatives for preparing my meal. The only gluten free dessert options are creme brulee and ice cream, I think the ice cream flavors rotate flavors for the season. Overall we were thrilled with our food and drinks and service was attentive. We will come back again!
First time and didn’t disappoint. I had a turkey, avo sandwich on gluten free bread. The sandwich was much larger than I expected with lots of toppings. The store was clean and the staff were knowledgeable and kind.
Even before we ordered the employees took care of us. We are significantly allergic to gluten, so the waitress continually confirmed what was safe to eat. Even before we asked she went back to talk to the chefs. I can’t say the same for the place across the street “La Calle” couldn’t tell us anything and wasn’t willing to find answers for us leaving us feeling like the “problem child”. The waitress wasn’t knowledgeable about common allergies and gluten items. Whereas Limon El Sal, made recommendations and discouraged items possibly made with gluten. Limon El Sal made us fee welcomed and safe. The waitress checked in with us and provided quick speed of service.
I've been a customer for quite awhile. Mostly pickup. But each and every time, staff on the phone and in person has provided top notch customer service. Pizzas are received as ordered and per the stated pickup time. Pizzas are gorgeous looking, not skimpy on the toppings, and tasty.
The pizzas are American style meaning it has a high gluten crust that gives it a more bready taste. Fresh out of the oven, it smells so good. The toppings taste and look like quality stuff. Yum. The menu also offers chicken wings, various sandwiches, cheese bread, and a salad bar.
The location has a nice size indoor seating area with TVs tuned into sports channels. Comfortable, family friendly vibes.
Interesting pizza concept place.
They have a variety of options. From Indian to classic takes. They also had gluten free crust availability as well. Food ordered was tasty and will visit again.
We tried Ciro’s new location and absolutely loved it! They just got their liquor license and so we tried out a few adult beverages with our pizza. The pizza was as delicious as ever and the 4 packs of specialty brews were a great addition. I am gluten free and tried out the Grass Valley Brewing Co. Gold Pan Ale (gluten removed) and it was really tasty, with a full hoppy flavor! We’ll definitely be back for the pizza and the drinks!
My son decided this is what he wanted for his birthday dinner. I questioned his choice, having never been, but went along with it. While it’s a tad pricy for a burger and fries, the burgers were all delicious… too large for our smaller appetites in fact, haha. I had my burger lettuce wrapped to avoid the gluten bun, and it was still way more burger than I could eat without feeling a little sick, but it was so yummy! Kids got a strawberry banana milkshake which was also delicious. All in all, pretty fantastic experience, thanks to the guy who did our order, who was super friendly and helpful! Only thing I’d change is that I’ll definitely go for the smaller burger next time.
Little gluten free options but the gluten free has eggs and other allergens in it, they use harmful oils like canola oil, have little dairy free, vinegar free, soy free, MSG free, natural flavor free, corn free, canola oil/inflammatory oil free options. Their sauces are filled with sugar, MSG and vinegar, and vinegar wears away at teeth and bones. They do not make food that is inclusive of people's health issues. They don't care. It's also expensive
Tastes as authentic indian food and your can choose more traditional american plates too. They offer gluten free options. Waitress was super kind and mindful.
Our server Alex (or Alejandro) was unattentive, has gotten our order wrong in the last 3 times we’ve come to this establishment, and not friendly whatsoever. He disregarded our friend’s gluten allergy, and the fact that we hated the coffee he brought us even though they weren’t what we ordered. I ordered sausage, I got bacon, my friend ordered chocolate chip pancakes, she got chocolate flavored pancakes, my fil got the completely wrong omelet. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before even being asked if we wanted WATERS. I’m pretty sure he scammed my friend by charging her the price of the cold brew foam coffee when she ordered a normal hot coffee. Overall the experience our server has provided us recently was so disappointing. SO disappointing.
Raja & Becca are my go to bartenders. Especially Raja!! Honestly, I’ve tried a lot of the menu. However, I have a gluten allergy & so they are extremely patient with me. Then Raja let me know they have the most DELICIOUS gluten free burgers! AND I can also use them on all their sandwiches! Then, now that Raja won my trust, I don’t even order my drinks off the menu anymore I just trust Raja. My favorite drink if I go off the menu is the PHG. Also, all my friends & I LOVE goin to Taco Tuesday! So good, fresh food, GREAT service, & love the atmosphere. You can eat lunch & then go on a beautiful nature walk behind the restaurant. 10/10 recommend.
