I ordered the French toast, gluten-free breakfast and ordered my eggs over hard and the edges were so crispy. I had to cut it with a knife. The bacon was too crispy. The French toast was good however. Service was good. She was very attentive.
Gluten free fried chicken that tastes like heaven. Delicious sauces. Pueblo green chile Mac and cheese. Mashed potatoes with super tasty gravy. So yummy 😋
We walked in planning to buy two pastries, but we walked out buying nothing. A small cup of their tiramisu was $8.50 while their gluten free option cost $11. It's a bummer the prices have gotten outrageously high at our local bakery. Button Rock would have had two more sales had the prices been lower.
A great place to relax and enjoy ciders and other adult beverages with an amazing view of the mountains! Gluten Free food and desert options and a dog friendly outdoor area. They even have a large area for kids to play, including playground equipment. we will be back!
I’ve been coming here about 8 years now. It’s been one of my favorite places in the area. As a few others have said… it’s a real bummer we can’t build our own sandwiches anymore. Fortunately one of the workers allowed me to order a basic turkey sandwich and just add a few toppings so it was pretty close to before. But the gluten free bread is different now too. It’s very crumbly and basically ended up as bread crumbs on a plate while I ate a wad of turkey with toppings. My 2yo couldn’t really eat it as a sandwich and you know how toddlers can be. She didn’t really eat much. But regardless, I went back to the register to order another for my husband and when I asked to do the same thing this different worker kept telling me that it’s not an option. Eventually she agreed when I explained I just ordered one. So I was kind of bummed that even that option isn’t being given. I appreciated the first worker helping me. I kept a few stars bc I know they generally use quality ingredients. And the cheese cake my husband loves looks like it’s the same (can’t say bc I’m dairy free and can’t taste it). Fingers crossed it hasn’t changed. Also, when I asked the girl (who didn’t want to let me order a turkey sandwich) if their gluten free bread had dairy she couldn’t give me an answer so I had to research the bread myself. Kind of bummed she couldn’t check the package for me. She said they used to have a sign hr she couldn’t find it.
I understand their reasoning behind not offering the build your own choice but maybe there could be an in between like having the turkey sandwich available with the option to add toppings at a cost.
I sat outside, the service was excellent, there was no wait Monday morning at 10:30 and the food was so amazing! I almost couldn’t decide between all of the delicious eggs Benedict options. The gluten free bread was super tasty as well!
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Community. Adrian, our server, was wonderfully attentive and answered all our questions regarding allergy challenges. (I have Celiac disease).
The double burger with a special sauce was scrumptious. We replaced the potato bun with a gluten free bun and it was one of the best GF buns I’ve tasted. And it didn’t fall apart as most buns tend to do. Bonus!
We also happily consumed the Birria Grilled Cheese with braised short rib and an au jus for dipping that was scrumptious.
The house margaritas topped off our dinner choices nicely.
The owner checked on our meal and we appreciated the attentiveness. They have created a wonderful Lafayette dinner experience. It’s now at the top of our dining list for our sweet small town.
We are so glad we found this place. The food is amazing as is the service and everything else. We had the hummus, a vegetarian combo and coffee, which were all amazing. The red lentils and colors and potatoes were my favorite but everything was delicious. We also had gluten-free injera, and it was the best I've had. Be sure to ask for their special spice powder if you want some heat. The stuff is delicious and hot. We live in Westminster and are glad we don't have to drive to Denver or Aurora for awesome Ethiopian food anymore.
Fantastic lunch and delicious gluten free pizza! I definitely recommend the February special pizza as well, we really enjoyed. Thanks for the great service too!
Wow amazing food! Gluten free for all our meals.
There was a constant stream of people coming in and getting takeout so obviously this place is off the hook delicious .
Highly recommend recommending to anyone that is in the area and I'm bummed because I forgot to take pictures because I was so hungry lol
We got chicken basil and Mongolian beef Woks. Lots of fresh vegetables that were not overdone.
Fresh spring rolls that were warm and gluten-free peanut sauce. I wanted to put my finger in the peanut sauce cup to not waste any bc it was SO good but I didn't. Haha
The gentleman working there that took our order was so sweet and a very kind man.
Off Campus Cafe has been our family favorite for a well-made, fresh and yummy breakfast or lunch. Sometimes we eat in, and sometimes we get food to go when we are headed to sports games. Side note: I’m gluten intolerant and have never had an issue here!! Definitely stop by, even if you are pressed for time. We’ve never waited long for our food!
Unique flavor profiles across the board with what we ordered. The fried rice dishes were a bit bland unfortunately. GF dumplings were very tasty and the sauce was flavorful. The drunken noodle was a very unique flavor possibly because of the gluten free choice. The pad Thai seemed to be missing traditional green onions or a bit more spice but overall still a solid option with all 5 dishes we got.
Ordered takeout for the first time tonight and we were not disappointed! Great Vindaloo and the Chicken Momo was delicious. The Papadum and Naan were tasty and fresh. We will be dining again soon. Great vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options. Can’t wait to try more entrees.
This is my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant now. The food is delicious and they are awesome with gluten-free options. The staff can tell you what they can and cannot make gluten-free. The best part is they can make orange chicken and General Tao’s chicken gluten free and the chicken is actually breaded and gluten free! Their egg drop soup and chicken fried rice are fantastic, too. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant.
This was our first visit to this establishment, it came very highly recommended by friends. We usually do not choose Italian since we are both gluten-free. I did not see any gluten-free options on the menu but there were other options to choose from. We had the brussel sprouts, calamari and paella. My husband raved about the paella since he lived in Panama, he said it was excellent. I gave four stars in the service area because our waiter was not attentive at all. He never asked how our meals were after they were delivered to the table.
We asked for more dipping sauce for the calamari, he didn't know what it was and was asking us the name of it, well, we didn't know the name of it. We just know that it came with the calamari. 10 minutes later and we still didn't have more dipping sauce. Then a large bowl of sauce for the paella came to the table which we refused but were charged $3 for that on our bill but that's not what we asked for. We finally got the sauce for the calamari when we were boxing everything up and leaving. There was no reason for the poor service since we arrived at 4:45 p.m. and the restaurant was not busy.
Growing up in Boulder, this is a local favorite and always delicious. They use recyclable materials (tin foil) for most take out. Enchiladas are gluten free and so yummy. Margaritas are great too!
So good. Very friendly and helpful when you have dietary restrictions. They walked be through all the meals I could eat and different options for my gluten/dairy needs. My dietary issues can be a pain to accommodate but they made it easy and the food was awesome.
To the owners and management of this establishment, I try not to write negative reviews. However, this experience deserved some attention.
We wandered into your restaurant on Thursday around 9 p.m., eager for some much-needed “mom time” and a couple of late-night snacks to curb our munchies. As locals who are regulars at William Oliver's (shoutout to the New Orleans bartender, who makes the best Sazerac in the land), I had high hopes for your place. Spoiler alert: I should have known better.
We were greeted promptly by a young redhead who, let's just say, didn’t exactly radiate warmth or enthusiasm. She approached us with all the energy of a tired houseplant, but hey, we’re moms out for some rare, carefree fun. We laughed a little louder than the average library crowd, but nothing too crazy. Apparently, Miss "I Haven’t Seen Fun in Years" was a little put off by our joy, though, because it was evident she could not have been more annoyed.
My husband orders a beer (the first drink of the night, mind you), and here’s where things take a turn. We had just returned from an event in Denver and hadn’t had a drop of alcohol all day. But, we did partake in a little legal plant beforehand, because, well, it’s legal and we’re adults. But according to our lovely server, we were already over-served. Yes, you read that right: “over-served” when we hadn’t even taken a sip of anything. LOL. Look, as a former industry worker who has taken the TIPS class more times than I care to admit, let me just say this: her ability to assess intoxication was a level of wrong that could only be described as spectacularly misguided. Maybe she needs to stop playing judge and jury and stick to a job where her ‘intuition’ isn't needed—like, I don’t know, filing papers?
And let’s talk about TIPS for a minute, because in that class, they teach you the basics—like, if you think someone’s had too much to drink, you immediately offer water. But nope, not a drop of water offered. We had to ask for it. Thanks for nothing.
Oh, and by the way, my friend is gluten-free, so guess what was forgotten? The bread. But, of course! Because why not throw in a little extra touch of incompetence?
At this point, we’re just trying to get through this disaster of an evening. This girl seriously needs a lesson in customer service. Honestly, she’d be better off in a job where she doesn’t have to gasp interact with other humans. Perhaps a nice desk job where she can stare at spreadsheets without worrying about things like “service” or “smiling.” She seemed to realize her lack of judgement and tried to make it right, but that ship had sailed. We took our money elsewhere.
Long story short: we won’t be back. If your staff can’t tell the difference between laughter and intoxication, or figure out how to treat people like human beings, maybe it’s time to rethink your hiring strategy. Better yet, invest in some real training for the folks you employ.
We'll stick with other local establishments where the drinks are great, the staff actually enjoys their jobs, and no one’s accusing us of being "over-served" before we’ve even had a sip.
Staff is amazing! Thank you!
I get the iced matcha with oat milk and maple syrup & my boyfriend gets a cappuccino with whole milk. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and their oat milk is gluten-free. As for my boyfriend, this is the only place he’s found around town that makes a consistent cap.
Everyone here is amazing. I tell everyone I know about this place. Thank you so much for making my mornings so much better!
Falafayette makes our lives stress free especially when we don’t have the energy to cook! Adam makes his food with care and love which is tasted with every bite. His falafel aren’t dry or too greasy: The amba, tahini and z’chug bring out the flavors. We order the hummus bowls with the 6 piece sides of falafel and often with fries but bypass pita being mostly gluten free. We can get two meals out of the portions. Eat with a happy and hearty appetite! Thanks! Be safe and well!
We drove out of our way to get these subs! They're packed with fresh meats and as many fixings as you want. They do have gluten-free bread. Friendly and caring staff.
They have vegan pizza as well as gluten free! We were able to host family and friends with various dietary needs and everyone was pleased :) so easy for us and so delicious for everyone.
