I only order pick up from here but the service is fast and friendly, the pizza is always good and the ingredients are quality. I eat the Gluten Free pizza and it's the best one I e ever had. It's not some cheap from the freezer cauliflower crust or anything, it's legit!! We go here 4/5 times a month and the rewards help us get $5 off nearly every other week. Love it!! Best in town.
Great, friendly staff. Seemed knowledgeable about my gluten issues. They prepared me a gluten-free Philly cheese steak with grilled portobello mushrooms. Phenomenal sandwich! My wife said her turkey and provolone was good, too. Impressed how the workers greeted and treated everyone...so friendly, and they know their products. Heard them answer many questions, and they were always very polite and kind. I did not catch the name of the gentleman who was working, but he had an awesome, nearly infectious laugh that made you feel like you were with friends. He also commended us on using the online order prior to arrival in order to speed the process along. Subs were ready at the time promised and were 100% as ordered. Clean bathrooms. Try the Strange Soda Rootbeer. If you love rootbeer, you will not be disappointed by this one! It has a great, smooth flavor and just the right amount of carbonation. I will definitely make this location a stop when travelling to Louisville, KY.
The food was absolutely AMAZING!! The gluten-free menu is vast and they truly pay attention to the concern (and need) to be gluten-free. Our server, Hailey, was attentive and went above and beyond. Lovely experience, we can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!
Before I go on a little tangent, I'll start off by saying the fried pickles were amazing, a serious hit, and highly recommend giving them a try, and the pulled pork salads were really good too (opinion from my parents). Now for my tangent: I was assuming the New Albany location would have the same quality food as the Bardstown location... That is where I went wrong. Though the food was good (besides my own), I ordered a BBQ Burger with a gluten free bun; what a monstrosity: tasted like cardboard that was pulled from the trash and molded into a bun. I have had plenty of GF buns in my lifetime because I am about 99% gluten free. I had zero complaints about them at the Bardstown location, but the New Albany location was so bad and it made my burger taste bad... 3 stars only bc the server was tentative to the table and he was very kind. Everyone else did not have issues with their meals, maybe it should be a 4 star, but the bun really made my food taste so bad. I check the expiration dates of food you don't sell very often bc I am almost positive that it was expired. I had my family try the bun and they were disgusted as well.
Atmosphere and service from staff is top notch. Friendly and helpful w making a choice, as it was our first time. Like being around old friends. We had the mac n cheese w pulled pork and it was phenomenal. We will be back to try other options from the menu. The options are endless yet not overwhelming, sure to satisfy the tastebuds of everyone in your house. There are even gluten free and vegan options. And offer catering for events. If I cld give more than five stars I wld!!
We love this location. My kids love the train that delivers their drinks.
The only negative note to our recent visit was we brought a friend who had never visited before and who was gluten-free due to celiac dz. Despite the website stating there were gluten-free options, there were not. However, the chef on duty made it work with a crustless pizza & salad.
Overall great visit!
I got two ground turkey lettuce wraps, my husband got the fall salad. Food was fast, very fresh, and so freaking good. I feel like I could have been fine with one order(120 calories), it felt pretty filling, but I wanted to eat five. You know when something just taste good so you don't want to stop eating it. We're definitely coming back. Pick up was fast, building was clean, website lists allergens. As advertised 5 stars. 0 complaints.
-editing my review to add this,
Came back, got the peanut noodles and the website had an option for zucchini noodles! I'm not eating gluten right now. You can tell the menu is made by an actual chef. It was amazing. Flavours were so well balanced, the jalapeños were perfect, not too spicy taking away from the flavour, not too pickley, just so good. I literally drank the sauce after I finished it. The only complaint I have now is that they don't sell bottled sauces because id put thag stuff on everything. Staff is friendly, drive though was very quick/convenient.
Loved the nachos. One of the few I've had that use refried black beans - and the jalapeño crema is great. Plus the menu has lots of gluten free options which important for me.
While I will commend Chick-fil-A on having gluten-free options, like glutten-free buns, their staff does not listen very well and/or doesn't comprehend how serious an allergic reaction can be. Make sure you check your special order before leaving the store so you don't have a potentially hazardous situation on hand. See below experience at thos location today:
I have a wheat allergy and a gluten intolerance, so my husband went inside this location to order our lunch. He ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich on a glutten-free bun (please note that the breading used on fried cjicken contains wheat and gluten). While the cashier did flag the order as an allergy, he failed to put grilled chicken on rhe order, because after waiting about 25 mins for the order when the food was ready my husband took the to go bag without looking. We got down the road and discovered while the buns and meat were packaged separately, the chicken was breaded. We ended up grabing food at another place as by this time we were thoroughly frazzled by our experience.
Do not go to this location on Saturday if you don't like large crowds of people and long lines both inside and drive-thru. The parking is horrendous as Chick-fil-A shares a small parking lot with 4 other businesses.
