So glad we tried this place!! They have two different types of GF crust which is awesome, and they have GF cheese bread! Ranch was great, and the staff was also incredibly kind. Will be back!
Ate here last night around 9PM with my girlfriend. The bottom of the menus here state that they are happy to work with food allergies. However, my girlfriend was rushed to the ER last night due a horrible reaction to gluten that was in her food.
My girlfriend told the server that she had a gluten allergy, to which the server responded "Oh yes, gluten-free allergy". My girlfriend ordered sushi. The food was decent, but on the car ride home, she almost stopped breathing. Was rushed to the ER and given an IV, benadryl, and shot with an Epi pen. The medical team believes it was a bad reaction to gluten.
Not sure how it happened, but I suspect there was some sort of cross-contamination, which means rules aren't being followed in the kitchen. If you have food allergies, I'd skip this place. It isn't worth dying over.
The best Italian food I’ve had in ages! The atmosphere was cozy yet still very modern. The wait staff was super kind and attentive. Most of all the food was absolutely amazing! You have to try the pasta, they make it in house and it’s incredible. There are a ton of gluten free options as well, including desserts which is such a refreshing surprise. I will definitely be back.
Anytime we want good pizza we go here. It is a great place to go as a family or on a date or to watch some sports. The pizza's are great. Love the atmosphere. It is comfortable yet still very nice. Being gluten free (not celiac) it is hard to find a good pizza & they maintain their standards. Every time we go, they are consistent & still tastes amazing. Always super friendly service! I have been going here for a few years now & will continue to do so.
I visited the meeting house for brunch with a friend and, since I have a gluten allergy, trying new dishes can be tricky. I was pleased to see a breakfast rice bowl on the menu marked gluten-free. It came with scrambled eggs on top, and when our server asked if scrambled eggs were okay, I confirmed that they also offered other egg options. The dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavor—definitely a standout!
I visited Red Knapps recently, and while I understand that mistakes can happen, my experience as someone with a severe gluten intolerance was deeply concerning.
When I arrived, I specifically asked if they had gluten-free options, and the staff assured me they did, including gluten-free buns for their burgers. I ordered a burger and clearly requested it to be gluten-free. When my food arrived, I did my usual check, asking the waitress to confirm it was gluten-free, and she confidently said it was.
However, halfway through my meal, I started to feel ill, which led me to double-check again. This time, after going back to the kitchen, the waitress returned, visibly apologetic, and admitted that my order had not been marked as gluten-free, meaning I had just eaten a regular gluten bun. Shortly after, I became very sick and threw up in the bathroom.
While I appreciate the waitress’s genuine apology and the gesture of comping our meal, this situation highlights a critical issue. For those of us with severe dietary restrictions, even small mistakes can have significant, immediate health consequences. I strongly encourage the staff to implement stricter procedures to ensure this kind of error doesn’t happen again.
I genuinely hope the restaurant takes this as an opportunity to improve, as it’s not just about a dietary preference but a serious health need
The first time eating there and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, atmosphere was upscale and our waitress was friendly. It was a restaurant that had gluten-free items which is important for my daughter.
We came in to a surprisingly empty store. However the place was immaculate and the server was super kind!
We ordered for carry out and got our food in minutes.
The food itself was amazing. Flavourful while not being too spicy. According to my boyfriend, the Bangkok Chicken was “the best I’ve ever had”.
The gluten free (& vegetarian) options were very clearly marked, which I very much appreciate.
The service was spectacular. Emily, the manager was great. I have a gluten allergy and have been looking for the best gluten free dough. I think I have found it. This GF dough was by far the best ever. The reason I didn’t give five stars over all is due to the saltiness of the sauce. The sauce was heavy on the salt. I will come again, but next time I will request either a different sauce (if that’s an option) or just ask for light sauce. The layout of the restaurant was interesting, but I would definitely come again.
Staff has always been more than wonderful, but it's difficult to get true gluten free options. Totally fine if you can eat from the same frier as things with gluten
We went here because we heard it's very gluten friendly. We had to wait over 30 minutes for someone who wasn't in our party. The waiter never brought the sushi I ordered. And when the chef was making the food he put noodles on the grill making it all poison for me. They made my food in the back. Then at the end of the meal they double charged our card. Afterwards the manager called and apologize and invited us back and ensured us that wouldn't happen again. We went back and it was the same chef. He showed us the gf soy sauce bottle. Then towards the end of the meal I noticed the chef wasn't using the gf sauce bottle but the regular. My daughter and I both have celiac disease and we were both sick before we left the table. We were very clear we have allergies and said it multiple times. This place and that chef do not give a flying frog about allergies.
