This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. Food is always delicious, the owner genuinely cares about the people that come here, and it’s been very safe for gluten sensitivity. The establishment itself is also always super clean inside. I found this place when I lived close by but now live 45 minutes away and still go at least once a week because the food is worth the drive.
Came here bc I saw some positive reviews for gluten free experience and they did not disappoint. They also seemed to really know all the locals who came in & I thought that was sweet. I got chicken hibachi and miso soup, my partner got steak. Will definitely be returning.
I absolutely love The Mason Jar. The food is fantastic. I love their shrimp and grits. Every server I've ever had has been wonderful and I love taking friends here for the gluten free opinions.
Protein and gluten misers….2 pasta dishes orders for delivery, $70!! 2 1x1” squares of bread with spiced motor oil. 3 pieces of chicken. What a rip off, been around for many years but this was the last straw.
I ordered a gluten free pizza for delivery and it was amazing! Gluten free pizza can be really hit or miss and this was a huge hit! Gluten free can get pricy but this pizza is a fair price for a delicious celiac friendly pizza!
We had such a great experience at Nil’s in Fuquay! The food was incredible and they had tons of gluten-free options, which is always a huge plus for our family. The owner, Tan, was so kind—he even gave our 1-year-old daughter a baby purée pouch. Such a thoughtful gesture that really made our visit extra special!
The atmosphere was absolutely amazing—modern, cozy, and full of character. You can tell a lot of heart went into creating a space that feels both welcoming and unique. Every staff member we met was friendly and attentive. We’re already looking forward to checking out their new Angier location when it opens. Highly recommend Nil’s for delicious Mediterranean food and top-notch hospitality!
My first time visiting and definitely not my last. The food was delicious and plentiful. My mother who eats gluten free was excited with all of the options for her on the menu. She wants to return weekly to try out everything they have to offer. And if the food was enough we had the absolute best service. Gaetana was up beat, attentive, and very helpful answering our new customer questions. She helped make our first visit outstanding!
Bry was a great server! Offered to pack our desserts so we could indulge back home and pass out from being full 😂 the atmosphere is so loving and lively. The burnt ends are so tender and perfect. Collard greens just right. They take the gluten allergy very seriously! They change gloves and separate area. I’m sure they take other allergies seriously as well! ☺️
Been here many times and I am always happy with what I get. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve done both dine in and take out and I’m never disappointed. I would definitely recommend the “Sweet n Smoky” dry rub on the waffle fries. They have a wide variety of gluten free options for someone like me with an allergy! Plus the music playlist is great.
Like that you can get the unwich, lettuce wrapped, since no gluten free bread. It holds together fine and I can still load up the tomatoes cukes and onion.
Such a great group of people. The food is pretty good. I am from NY, and this is one of the closest to NY pizza. They also have gluten-free options. Little pricey on extra items for your pizza.
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, especially considering I cannot have gluten. They went above and beyond to ensure my meal was gluten-free and safe. I felt cared for and will definitely be returning!
First time having Johnny’s pizza and it was great!! My husband has celiac disease so we were happy to see they had gluten free options- pretty sure there was some cross contamination but he didn’t get super ill. If they were willing to cook the pizzas on parchment or a gf only pan, I think that would have minimized the risk. I didn’t ask what their protocols were. Overall, we were really happy with the pizza and will order again.
The first time I ever had Anna's was 4 days ago. I ordered a gluten free pizza on cauliflower crust for takeaway and absolutely enjoyed it when I got home! 5 Stars.
My flight to India this evening was canceled due to weather and since I'm now here for one more night, I ordered the same gluten free pizza on cauliflower crust, this time, for delivery.
Between the two pizzas, disappointingly, the experiences were a difference of night and day. I'm not sure if it was even the same GF crust.
The takeout order came in a thick, standard cardboard pizza box with a tinfoil tray under the pizza. It took 20 mins with traffic to get home with it and it was still quite warm and the GF crust felt like it should. Thick enough to fold the crust and eat one handed.
Tonight's delivery came in a cheap thin pizza box without the tinfoil tray. The whole box and pizza was cold and soggy. Folding the crust to eat it was pointless, it continually folded where it shouldn't and I spent half the time picking up to eat what fell off onto the plate.
Noting that the delivery time of 45 mins was reasonable and accurate.
If I was leaving a review for the other evening, I would have given it 5 stars. With one suggestion to make sure they cut the slices thoroughly. The 4 slice serving wasn't cut in the middle and didn't even come close to the crust. I had to recut the pizza when I got home. The sauce, crust, and toppings still would have earned 5 stars.
If tonight was my first experience, I'd be leaving a 3 star review at best and not order from there again.
If I had more time in town, I'd try one more time and decide if I really like Anna's. Jury is out till I return in a few months to years.
