So delicious! I have a burger on a GF bun and fries from their dedicated fryer. The server was gluten free herself and was SO helpful. I can’t wait to go back!
The curry was delicious and very flavorful! Allergens were very clearly labeled -- lots of gluten-free options or things that can be made gluten-free upon request. Great service and friendly staff. Will definitely be stopping by again!
This has been a go-to spot recently. Easy take out but also nice to eat in. Great menu, everything I’ve had so far has been great. They also are really good with gluten-free, especially for my friend who has celiac disease and needs to take extra precautions.
Shoutout to the kind staff, who cheerfully accommodated our request for a cup of hot water! We got the veg out pizza which had generous toppings and a well-fired crust. A tasty and filling meal!
P.S. they have crusts to accommodate every dietary need, from regular to gluten-free to cauliflower and even keto!
I am gluten-free and the lady working there was so sweet and extremely accommodating. She even got gluten-free injera from Dora bet, which is another delicious restaurant a block away, so I can have a wrap. I got the veggie injera wrap and I loved it. Great experience
This place was disgusting. It smelled something terrible and the food didn't taste any better. I was so hopeful because I have Celiac's Disease. I heard the cook cursing up a storm because he had to make my food gluten free. The lights were basically off when we walked in and the chairs were up, very uninviting. I took 2 bites and didn't finish my food even though I wanted to because it was SO expensive.
I'm not sure they've ever gotten my order fully right. They pay no attention to "gluten free bun" and half the time give me a bun that will make me sick. They skip ingredients -- don't bother adding avocado or bacon or whatever, you get what you get. Wrong shake flavors, wrong fries dips, and they never send ketchup or utensils when you ask through the app. If you aren't picking up yourself to check and guarantee your order is right, don't bother. I'm giving up.
I accidentally placed my take-out order at the wrong Goldie location. When I got to the Goldie in West Philly near UPenn, they didn’t have my order and figured out I placed my order at the Center City location.
The manager and staff were so kind and immediately offered to make me a replacement order on the spot.
The food here is always delicious and the staff are so attentive and friendly.
It’s also amazing that they maintain a gluten-free fryer, which makes it safe for my husband to eat here.
Finally! Not only excellent sushi rolls, as well as exceptional poke, but they serve their food in portions and aren’t short-sighted. Many sushi restaurants or restaurants that have sushi or poke on their menu, whether Japanese, Chinese, or any cuisine category, have a Pick 3 or 3 Roll sushi combo, where you get to select 3 rolls. When they do so, they make the rolls smaller, because the price apart as a bargain. However, the rolls served here, are the perfect size rolls, fresh, and delicious.
I ordered delivery through Grubhub, the platform that doesn’t add exorbitant fees or play games by offering discounts and offering them with fees that are equal or more than the savings they offer you- Uber Eats. For the 3 Roll Sushi Combo I ordered a spicy tuna roll, and two rolls with both tuna and salmon- phenomenal. Rice on outside with masago and wonderful sushi inside. They only need to add more rolls to choose from for their 3 Roll Sushi Combo.
Next, I ordered their Build Your Own Poke Bowl. The portion was by far the best I’ve had in the 5 mile radius of Center City Philadelphia. I chose a base of rice, tuna as the protein, and topped it with edamame, spring mix, shredded carrots, and masago, topped with gluten-free Ginger Miso dressing. The poke bowl is fabulous. My only recommendation would be more toppings to choose from for their bowls. If they used organic vegetables as the healthy alternative to those known to have pesticides, they’d easily distinguish themselves from others in the marketplace, along with increasing gluten-free options. The gluten-free labeled options for the poke bowls are excellent. You won’t get better food service for sushi nor poke bowls. I’ll be ordering from here regularly. It’s a 5-star winner.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the gluten-free options available, and very tasty! I purposefully wanted to try the gluten-free crystal shrimp dumplings to see how they would hold up during delivery. They came just way they are served in the restaurant.
My new Favorite go to spot for delicious Indian Food, including a fabulous buffet available at lunch and dinner. The buffet is absolutely perfect with gluten free and vegan options also, and all items are marked as such. Cold salad bar with fresh fruit and desserts and even hot chai tea.. The buffet is a great way to try different Indian dishes if you have never had it, or love it and want a bit of everything.. Their full menu is also always available. Their drink prices are Awesome with 3.00 wines, shots and beers & 2.00 Yuengling bottles. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly with exceptional customer service. Same amazing service Everytime-- days, nights, weekends. Great for fun with friends, meeting someone for a business lunch or just to chat, and even makes an impressive date night on a budget. Their huge vegetarian samosas are amazing and all the buffet food is spiced just right for anyone to try. If you have missed this University City gem please give it a try...You'll definitely go back for more... Also very clean establishment with beautiful clean bathrooms.
Great for a drive through experience. Sadly, COVID has ruined my favorite sit-in coffee shop site. No eat in options (although you can totally eat outdoors they have tables outside). Its such a lovely shop i will miss visiting this location to sip tea and read a book. I hope restrictions lift soon
The food is good though! The people are great and super helpful. They have vegan and gluten free options.
One of Philly’s best middle eastern spots (Lebanese specifically). I get the gluten free vegetarian platter cause it comes with all my favorites. The tabbouleh is my favorite in the tristate area, hummus and baba ganoush are fantastic as well and freshly made pita is a real plus. Generous portions, fresh ingredients and the service is always 11/10.
Today’s wait time was ~25minutes, but in my opinion, it was totally worth it!
Best Ethiopian food in Philly in my opinion. We had the Kitfo, Meat combination, and Veggie combination platter. I'm coming back for sure. They offer 100% teff injiria if you're gluten free.
Food was Great. Our waitress was Emma, she was great. Honestly I came there for the Breakfast Burritos but to my surprise they only self those during Brunch. I thought this place was a Mexican food Restaurant. But it's medditeranian. So ordered the Gluten free chicken with a side of rice. It was very delicious. I can't complain at all. Also, mimosas are served all day which is a major plus.
Ordered 25 pizzas for a school event. Staff was responsive and helpful. Pies were delivered on time, and the driver was very kind. They have a gluten-free/vegan cheese pie which was convenient for accommodating all dietary restrictions for a large event. People enjoyed the pies so an overall good experience.
My go to spot for beer and advice on what new things to try. The staff can suggest from a wide variety of styles from around the world. Super friendly and welcoming. They have pretty much any style your can think of. They have gluten free, gluten reduced, N/A beers as well as a wine selection.
Super disappointed to see the old POD menu gone and revamped to something completely new with not as many gluten free options. As someone with Celiac (and a sushi lover), there aren't a lot of places I feel comfortable trying sushi at. POD was somewhere that made me feel comfortable trying new sushi rolls that I knew would be allergy-safe. Sad to see the best sushi spot in the city gone!!!!
Best Indian food I’ve ever had! Beautiful menu, all labeled for gluten free, vegan , veg, halal. Generous portions, reasonably priced, absolutely delicious! We had the papadum, chicken korma, aloo appetizer & lamb saag. Fabulous!
Heaven. We started with the charcuterie board and I must say the pumpkin seeds were fabulous and the gluten free bread was wonderful. For entrees we had the Filet mignon which was divine and the buttermilk squash gnocchi was fantastic.
Amazing service and even better food! The samosa chaat is killer and they have tons of vegan, gluten free, and nut free options. Small but beautifully decorated space and reasonable prices. It’s just the best!
