This is a great restaurant concept on the river with river views. You enter an elevator and are brought to the 3rd floor where the restaurant landing is located. Floors above and outdoor seating as well as a full bar are likely to fit the ambiance you would like. I appreciated gf markings for gluten free selections and server was confident in guidance regarding allergies. We walked in on a Sunday early afternoon and we're seated quickly. I'm not so much a fan of hearing the kitchen in the dining space and the smell in the elevator shaft was a remnant of a busy Saturday night... Just felt like the floor or the space in and around the elevator scent could have been improved. Not the best first impression. Otherwise very very satisfied by flavor and variety. Had the wedge with shrimp and a side of mashed potatoes. Cosmo was good. Highly recommend especially for a view or a special dinner. Seems like a date night kinda place.

The food was really good. There are several gluten-free menu items to choose from. I had gf pancakes that were smothered in bananas, a caramel sauce (i think), and nuts. Plus, a side. I would certainly go back, although I wish they had other hot coffee (espresso drink) options. My family enjoyed the food, and the folks that work there were friendly and professional. If we were.lical we would go frequently.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning 30 mins after placing our name on their wait-list. Since we had a large group of 8, we thought we'd have to wait longer but our table was ready within the 30 mins we were told we need to wait. Overall, we were quite impressed with our visit, especially with the quality of the service. An older waitress who obviously had been there a few years took care of our table of 8 and did a fantastic job, always with a smile. She was kind and efficient and really knew the menu, particularly for some of our gluten-free guests. Food was served hot and was generally quite tasty. Some of the food was over-salted and the sunrise eggs were a bit over-cooked. Overall, we had a great breakfast experience for our party of eight and enjoyed the food we ate. Prices were a bit high but reasonable.

We had a large group come in and luna was our server. She was absolutely precious! She was patient kind and got the order out correct and I'm a great time. The food was good and even had accommodation done for gluten sensitive tummies in the group. She had the best service personality and did a magnificent job! Well definitely stop back by next trip to the area.

For lunch I had the OG Chix Sammie and fries on gluten-feee bun which was a 10/10. Hands down the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot), so golden, flakey and soft. Asha was our server and she was amazing and knowledgeable about the menu- helped me navigate gluten free options. I’ll be returning soon.

I stop in here any chance I get when visiting Charlotte or Rock Hill. I love Sonny’s BBQ! My children like the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches. Sometimes pork has some hard pieces and the pulled chicken is a little softer so my daughter prefers it. They also have delicious ribs. The mac n cheese is more like a homemade creamy cheese, but not like the kind baked in a casserole dish and definitely not kraft. The baked beans have a sweet, smoky flavor. And the sweet tea is truly sweet tea. I may not sleep tonight. 😁 I enjoyed the “pick 2 meats” and got pulled pork and sliced pork with the baked beans and fries. I took a picture of the allergy sheet. I have a dairy allergy and a gluten sensitivity. This isn’t probably safe if you are celiac. I had plenty of options that were dairy free. I took a pic of the allergy facts for those with food allergies. The dining room has a cafeteria feel. Plus, a bar with counter seating. There is a kids menu that comes with crayons to entertain the children. The servers are welcoming and our waitress took good care of us!

The waitress was very knowledgeable about what items I could eat as I have Celiac. She made suggestions on substitutions and made me feel very confident in the food! I had two tacos and a side and everything was delicious.

The food was not very good. My meal tasted pretty bland and my husband was extremely salty. Our server was new and was not knowledgeable about the menu. My order came out wrong the first time, and I was very concerned with cross contamination(having a gluten allergy) However, the manager did come over, apologized, then personally fixed my order and ensured my food was safe for me to eat. He also comped one of our meals, due to the inconveniences that occurred which was very kind of him.
