Friend, the other reviews are not lying about the pizza. You will love it. God bless those who figure food out and grace us with it. Almost backtracked our trip an hour+ out of Bryce Canyon just to get it the next day. Good work guys. Boyfriend enjoyed his juicy IPA as well, and they had gluten free cider selections (and a beer!) that I enjoyed as well! Excellent experience! P.S. for anyone else looking for a place to do some work on the road, this is not it. This is a full sit down restaurant. P.P.S. Destination Cafe down the road is probably more what you’re looking for, and they also have wifi! Good Verizon service in town if you have a hot-spot, however. Respect establishments :)

Great little grocery store with lots of natural, organic, local, vegetarian / vegan, and gluten free products. The selection was good but limited since it is a little store and ever so slightly more expensive than the bigger grocery store up the street which didn’t have any organic/natural or special diet products. Amanda (I think that’s her name, with black hair) helped us and she was so very nice, even though we happened to have come just as several other people were trickling in. There was another woman who was a bit more frazzled and curt, but we could tell she was still nice just a bit overwhelmed.

Kiva Koffee House We stopped here on our trip around the Grand Staircase and were delighted by this beautiful coffee shop. It is set up as a semi circle with the coffee bar and kitchen at the straight end. There are wrap around floor to ceiling windows that showcase the beautiful scenery and the supporting structures are thick polished tree trunk pillars between each window. They took as much care of the landscaping and outside of the building as they did the inside and walking in the front door feels like a mini oasis in the desert. There is ample parking and the shop is ADA accessible. The shop supports local artists and there are paintings, gorgeous ceramic pottery, and Navajo style beadwork jewelry for sale. The ambiance is relaxed and enjoyable and the service is fast. We especially loved the chai tea latte which was reminiscent of a warm gingerbread cookie with the right balance of sweet and spicy. The pastries were delicious and there are gluten free and vegan options as well for various menu items. The customer service was above and beyond, and their manager Sarah was especially helpful with giving us directions to the best places in the area. Jeremy was also very kind and helpful, and overall the staff seemed cohesive, cheerful, and worked well together. If you are visiting the area this is definitely a good place to stop: for the ambience, the food, and to take home a handmade souvenir that embodies the spirit of Escalante without being touristy. What a great little spot. Everyone was super nice and accommodating, My lady has a gluten allergy, and they did everything to make her meal wonderful and safe.

One of the people in my party has a severe garlic allergy. Not only did they modify their burger recipe so she could eat here, but, without prompting, they specially made her french fries! Service was great, the gluten free bun much appreciated, and everything cooked beautifully. Definitely recommend.
