I am not vegan or vegetarian. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked zest. I got the mushroom alfredo pasta and it was so good. We also got nachos to share - which if you don’t think about it as nachos and more just a chip and dip dish then it’s delicious. The roll was also pretty good and the dessert was amazing
I feel so appreciative of having a takeout / sit down cafe that serves the nutrient rich ingredients (I've asked about sourcing!). In my busy summer work season, I'm in often and am so thankful for the delicious food that includes gluten free and dairy free choices. AND, it's fantastic location in town with easy parking so I come grab sweet treats for my landscape crew. Thanks Luna for your care and dedication to offering tasty, clean food.
⭐️Food: 9/10

Is there anything better than enjoying a meal while perched on the edge of a canyon? I seriously doubt it. River Rock has the BEST cinnamon rolls, but fair warning, they go fast, so grab one early! The coffee shop is just as awesome. I had a white chocolate matcha that was a 10/10. And the Beetza pizza? SO GOOD. We were wishing we’d ordered two. We also tried the Phuket Peanut and it was fun to try but not my favorite Thai-style pizza. The sandwiches were just as tasty. Fresh, hearty, and super satisfying. The service was super friendly and laid-back. Oh, and if you’re gluten-free, their GF pizza crust is actually amazing.
I am so grateful for this place as someone who lives in southern UT and is allergic to Wheat. Everything is gluten-free. Please support this local business!!
I love the food at Vertical Diner. Everything is vegan and there are many clearly labeled gluten free options. Once in a while the service is “off,” but I’ve been going here for years and it is one of my favorite places to eat in SLC.
Loved this spot in Moab! Great gluten free options - gotta try the gf coffee cake and chocolate chip pecan bar. To die for! And the salads come in a very generous portion with a treat. We enjoyed an Asian chicken salad that was very flavorful. Mention you’re gluten free and they will include a gf treat. I got a macaroon that was perfectly soft inside and crunchy on the outside. My husband loved the carrot cake and he’s picky about his cake.
I love normal ice cream! They always have a gluten free AND dairy free option for me. It’s hard to find that for soft serve ice cream! On top of that their flavors are so thoughtfully made. They’re eclectic and bold, showing that their ice cream is more than dessert— it’s a culinary adventure! Even better, they have a new menu each month which really keeps things interesting and something to look forward to. Marketing hits the mark every time with their promos and always makes my mouth water. All of their staff are so kind and professional too, bringing an atmosphere of chill, easygoing fun. They know how to pile on the toppings and make a masterpiece at the same time *chef’s kiss*
I will forever love normal.
I’m gluten free and this morning we found this place and I was able to have an amazing breakfast and treats that all tasted amazing !!!! I normally struggle with gluten free items because the don’t always taste great but these tasted amazing.
I wish we were local but we are from Michigan and are on our way out. If you haven’t tried them yet you definitely should!!!!
Gloria’s in Moab is fantastic. I am gluten free and they had so many options. Their smoothies are delicious and fresh, perfect for a refreshing treat after exploring. The customer service is super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Definitely a great spot to stop by if you’re in town!
Quirky place with a lot of character. All the people working were nice. Owner came by to talk to us about the menu and answer dietary questions. They can make everything gluten-free, great place for people with Celiacs. Desserts are delicious.
I am always looking for great gluten free options which is always tough when it comes to desserts, but they absolutely nailed it. I had their tres leches cake & a couple macrons.. and it didn't disappoint. Great flavors and some of the best gluten free texture I've had. Will make an effort to get back their soon!
This is the cafe of my dreams!! The food is beautiful and delicious. My husband invited me on a lunch date and I almost declined because I have been sick and I have 2 surgeries coming up, so I'm avoiding gluten, dairy and sugar. Lo and behold, we found this place, which avoids all of the same things!! We both loved the Korean beef bowl and I splurged on a blueberry muffin. The guy who took our order kindly explained how coconut sugar is better on glucose and has good minerals, which was enough to convince me! I would give the atmosphere a 5 because I love the way it's decorated, but it was loud the day we were there. We will definitely be back and SO appreciate this option!!! I also love that they use glass glasses for water and have cloth napkins and metal silverware - hallelujah!
My wife is gluten intolerant. I am not. It can be hard to find food that we both can eat and both actually like. We finally found something at Oliver’s Place! If I didn’t know beforehand that the chicken tenders were gluten free, I never would’ve been able to guess. They tasted just as good as any standard chicken tenders in the area. Had option for regular fries or sweet potato fries. Both were excellent! Highly recommend this place whether you’re gluten sensitive or not!
My only notes for improvement: the wait time between ordering and receiving our food was so long you’d think they were slaughtering the chicken in real time back there. Very limited seating during peak hours. They charge for extra dipping sauces.
Look, the food is good enough, but the atmosphere is ok if a little sterile but the food is alright but the sandwiches tend to come out in no standardized ways and I wish they were bigger, healthy doesn't mean the same for all people. Sometimes there's more pesto sometimes less, sometimes the wrap is thin, sometimes it's not, (tbh I want a massive wrap) the portions are just too small.
Y'all can make this place better.
The place is good enough in Price, Utah, but if you dropped it anywhere larger, as is, it could not compete. The seating also does not foster community; it's very isolating, get in, get out. Not exactly inviting decor. Lacks warmth & comfort. The service is good tho.
It doesn't fit no frills but the aesthetic leaves you expecting them so does the price.
I also think it's funny they call the Caesar salad a Julius Caesar salad... Caesar salads are named after the person who created the recipe, not the Roman Caesars, but it is cute & memorable
The food is pretty good and I'm thankful for gluten free options, especially in Price, y'all also have the best coffee in Price.
What would make this place better:
-*adding smoothies or juice made in house (there's soda, which isn't very healthy, but no juice or smoothies and the place has 'tangerine' in the name?)
-Italian soda, juice & soda water option
-*possibly creating a build your own sandwich & salad format (can still keep menu), check boxes on laminated lists so they're reusable or just a kiosk for this. (Love me a berry salad glad that's on the menu, or a wrap stuffed with veggies) would also consider a build your own smoothie \ juice option if you add those
-A vegan & gluten free black bean burger \ wrap or sweet potato burger \ wrap would be delish
Maybe adding lettuce wraps?
-there's no fish on the menu, tuna salad Sandwich, or wrap sounds good, also lox would be good.
-breakfast all day... You do coffee, it's a lil odd to not have breakfast all day
-it feels echo-y? Maybe find ways to absorb sound?
-*There's not a good way to line up at the counter so it just gets crowded near the door. Creating a standard place to wait in line would help.
-Activities or doing community & fun things during the month or week.
-Having Gatorade or Powerade to restore electrolytes
-*Consider adding more sides, like a slaw as a side? Still healthy, but could make a peanut slaw or classic slaw, also potato salad or mac \ pasta salad ( u can use gluten free noodles which makes it far more protein dense & lower carbs) Chips are good but it tends to give a sack lunch vibe, & plain chips without dip are just boring. If you do hash browns, fries or tots aren't that far off. Carbs are a necessity, so are fats, but adding more side options might be better, cabbage also lasts longer than lettuce.
- I love the fruit & that it is berries, idk if it would be worth it to add more fruit options but some may like melon or other fruits, but the berries are lovely.
-Consider adding crepes (sweet & savory & maybe even gluten free), maybe bagels?
-Consider adding Tapas &\or seasonal specials or something that changes to highlight the diverse history of carbon county
-***switching to non Styrofoam Togo boxes, doing wraps & sandwiches possibly in foil & paper, salads in sturdy paper boxes, the soups are already in paper cups, it only makes sense to move away from foam. Many places elsewhere have moved to paper or reusable plastic containers, swapping to more sustainable options (namely paper\cardboard) is in keeping with the business' aesthetic
My husband and I went for the first time today after seeing that they had gluten free options. The cashier was knowledgeable about what was available with my allergy which was great. As everyone else has already mentioned, the food takes a long time even though there were only two other patrons inside.
What I found intolerable was the lack of cleanliness. The front two doors were sticky and covered in fingerprints and handprints as was all of the interior glass. The wall behind the self serve drink station had so many splatters that did not look recent and the counter top was covered in spills and crumbs. We picked the table that looked the cleanest and it still had a sticky residue. Ypu can actual smell the lack of cleanliness when you enter the breezeway. The bathroom seemed clean but was out of soap.
We liked our sandwiches and I appreciated the allergy awareness but we will not be eating there again.

This is a perfect cozy spot for simple dates, coffee meet ups or for a solo date. I often see people working/studying here too. Great vegan (dairy free for us with intolerances or allergies) and listed gluten free options. Coffee is so yummy! And the staff are kind and helpful.
This place was amazing we came in two days in a row! They are the only ones open late and I am gluten free and they had so many options for me that tasted great!
Absolutely amazing! These are the best gluten free burgers I've ever had and they didn't make me sick. The atmosphere is super chill and the art is phenomenal. Will definitely be back :)
I fell in love with this place. It's a shame I was in a hurry today because the warm welcoming atmosphere made me want to kick back and spend the rest of my afternoon here. The food was delicious and actually gluten free! The matcha and strawberry ice latte? Refreshing and well balanced. I can't wait to bring my favorite people here for some great food, drinks, and conversation.
Cupla Coffee is literally a hidden gem. It's in the basement of a building, but it has a lot of light coming in from the windowed roof. There's a nice variety of food for vegans, keto, and gluten free.
Friend, the other reviews are not lying about the pizza. You will love it.
God bless those who figure food out and grace us with it.
Almost backtracked our trip an hour+ out of Bryce Canyon just to get it the next day. Good work guys.
Boyfriend enjoyed his juicy IPA as well, and they had gluten free cider selections (and a beer!) that I enjoyed as well!
Excellent experience!
P.S. for anyone else looking for a place to do some work on the road, this is not it. This is a full sit down restaurant.
P.P.S. Destination Cafe down the road is probably more what you’re looking for, and they also have wifi! Good Verizon service in town if you have a hot-spot, however. Respect establishments :)
This coffee shop is a gem! Such a good spot to post up to do work, or just lounge in the outdoor seating and hangout. The coffee is always yummy as are their desserts. The food is seemingly fresh. Absolutely love this spot for their vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
This is about the 110th time I’ve been to gurus in Orem and every time the food has been excellent and the service has been fantastic. I’ve ordered just about everything on their menu and have never had a bad meal. This is a great place to go if you have to eat gluten-free. Highly recommended!
if you are celiac or sensitive to cross contamination I wouldn't recommend. there are GF options but little understanding of what does and doesnt have gluten or contaminants. I left before I dined/died...
Fantastic gluten-free desserts and local coffee! Always a bonus when the owner is around and making sure you’re having a great experience. A must stop for sure!
I was super excited to check out this cafe since it’s totally gluten free and I have celiac disease. Unfortunately, the employee who was working today completely ruined the experience. I got to the counter and was told I’d have to wait until she was done cooking the other orders before she could take mine. No problem, she seemed to be working alone and I can understand trying to get caught up. After ten minutes of standing there waiting, she finally came back to take my order but proceeded to tell me “just so you know, if you order food, it’s going to take 30 minutes.” I feel like she could have given me that info before I waited the ten minutes it took for her to take my order. I ended up not ordering anything at all because I felt like I was inconveniencing her. If I was the owner, I’d be pretty upset my employee was trying to dissuade customers from purchasing food. The friend I was with was kind enough to share what she got with me, and honestly the food was subpar. Maybe on a different day with a different employee it would have been good, but I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing.
Great crepes, both sweet and savory. And they have gluten free! They are a little thicker than normal crepes, more like a large thin pancake. Gluten free was a little spongy. But they taste great. Lots of fun toppings with unique names for each crepe.
Gluten free vegan isn’t easy to find and I was so happy that Lotus Cafe had plenty of options for me! I got a Sautéed Tofu Bowl + avocado and it was so delicious!!! The dressing on it was also tasty and completed the whole thing. The staff knew the menu well and showed me all the things that I was able to eat. Thank you Lotus Cafe!
Great place to stop while in the SLC airport. Items were marked as Gluten Free and Gluten Friendly and also had items where you can sub for Gluten free items. I was not disappointed! The brisket grilled cheese sandwich on Gluten free bread was delicious!
I absolutely love this place! I wish I lived closer so I could come here as a regular. The gluten free coffee cake is to die for! I am gluten free and my friends are not. Several of us got the coffee cake and everyone loved it. You could not tell that it was gluten free. I am beyond impressed with their variety of quality gluten free options. Coffee was also great. Great vibes and gorgeous decor.
Food is DELICIOUS. Customer service is spot on, and the wait is worth it! We got to see Post Malone (aka Cody Himself) and it was just so fun too. Their baked goods are up front and so delicious and gluten free. Don't leave without one!!!
Such a great place, the owner Pam is so friendly, and everything we had there was fantastic! Love supporting local businesses! The gluten free bread is also amazing, my wife has Celiac, so being gluten free is important for us. They have lots of options for that.
I come here regularly. Everything in the cafe is farm fresh and organic. Plenty of gluten free/vegan options as well. The cafe is kept fairly clean. This ISN'T a fast food place. Be patient, as the workers prioritize quality, and have a lot on their plates to take care of (pun intended).
I recommend getting the Chicken Pesto Panini, the Breakfast Sandwich, Iced Toasted Marshmallow, or Iced Matcha Tea.
However, my one complaint is the pricing of some of the menu items. Some things are just too unnecessarily pricey.
That aside, very great cafe, and I love the welcoming atmosphere. The store is also very well-kept and organized.
Was looking for a great little cafe with organic coffee closeby my hotel at staybridge and found this great little gem! Organic coffee. The PERFECT outside patio to soak up the views of the mountains and sunshine was the CHERRY ON TOP! Sweet and hospitable staff. They also have Gluten Free and vegan options and even sourdough cinnamon rolls!
The food was pretty good, but we waited at least 10 minutes for our waters. Then we waited another 20 minutes for our burgers. Felt pretty frustrated by the end of our visit. I’ve heard so many good things about this place but my first time, I did not feel impressed by the service. I did appreciate they offer gluten free bun options.
Very cool little spot in the Art Village. Nice decor, friendly and efficient service, and a delicious salad. A salad was one of only three choices on the menu as someone with a gluten allergy. They need more GF options; get GF buns and you open up most of your sandwiches and burgers! It's an easy fix. Charge us $2-3 for the bun. We're used to it, and at that rate, you're making profit, so cost is not the issue.
The quintessential hipster coffee shop experience. Friendly staff, lively atmosphere with lots of people, but not over-the-top crowded. Lots of options for lots of different types of people. Several gluten-free options, which was a nice surprise.
We went in for brunch yesterday. On a Sunday. As we walked up to the front door there was a very loud religious sermon playing on the restaurant’s indoor and outdoor speakers. Very loud and creepy.
We ordered a gluten free pizza to go and when we got home found out the crust was over cooked and dry like a potato chip.
There was only one waitress and too many diners for just that one person. She was overwhelmed.
We live in Kanab and will not be going back.
