Location, food, and service are spectacular.
The best restaurant in Lucerne — the food is amazing, and the service from the waiters is outstanding. The owner is incredibly friendly, always with a smile on his face and ready to help with everything.
We stayed in Lucerne for three days and ate lunch and dinner there every day.
For Switzerland, the prices are very reasonable.
Gluten-free food — it's very hard to find gluten-free options in Lucerne, but this restaurant has a wide variety and the menu clearly indicates them.
We're really sad to be leaving Lucerne, but we're happy to have met the owner and all the staff.
We'll definitely be coming back!

Best regards.
Spectacular location, food and service.
The best restaurant in Lucerne, great food, the attention of the waiters is spectacular, the owner is super friendly, always with a smile on his face and helping with everything. We spent three days in Lucerne and had lunch and dinner there every day.
The prices are very good for Switzerland.
Gluten-free food is very difficult to find in Lucerne. This restaurant has a wide variety, and the menu specifies it.

Antonio is very friendly and competent.
Great food! There are also gluten free options! We are tourists and already here for the second time.
Perfect!!!
Despite the long queue, we were able to have a great evening afterwards. Despite there being a lot of people, the waiters weren't stressed and were very friendly. There was gluten-free bread and pasta. If the pizza base had been a little more crispy and the burrata a little runnier, it would have been 5 stars. Many thanks to Luca, the usher, who made us a drink while we waited in line.
Good pizza, friendly and courteous service, fair prices. You'll have to serve me again 😉 It's cool that gluten-free pizza is also available upon request.
Great Lebanese food in the heart of Zurich. The mix grill is amazingly delicious. They looked after our special diet because they care and have strict processes in their kitchen. Special thanks to the owner who came to our table to assure us of meeting our Gluten Free requirements in almost every order we placed including Grills, Falafel, Tabouleh, etc..
Great pizza and risotto and several gluten free options - with clear labeling on menu of gluten free items (all pasta dishes available with fussili Gluten Free), risottos, salads and antipasti. Pizzas are not available gluten free.
The allergens are detailed on the menu - ideal for people with celiac disease. There is even sushi with gluten-free soy sauce. I didn't have any discomfort after eating, even though I'm very sensitive. I can only recommend it for all celiacs!
I have eaten here twice now. Both times I was pleased.
The food is delicious. I highly recommend the 1820 cocktail for those who prefer something not too sweet - the balance of flavours works so well. The duck in cherry sauce is very tasty too. Well presented without doing overkill. Nice selections of wines. The service was good - the waiter knew about the dishes and could make suggestions.
For those who want gluten-free options, I went with a coeliac, and despite being told they only had GF pasta as an option, there were actually a few tasty choices possible.
5 stars for super service and friendliness. An extra star for the delicious food, generous portions, and they were very accommodating to sub spätzli (gluten) with non-gluten (quinoa). They created a new dish for me! Hats off to the team and heartfelt thanks!

Went in this evening, and honestly it is the best food I’ve tasted in Switzerland. Anyone who has allergies, they are super accommodating, they have gluten free options also. Our server was super friendly and made the whole experience better, would happily come back :)
I will never go back there again. If I can give some honest advice, go your way. We went to eat at Molino on a Sunday. (3 adults and 1 child) From the time we were seated at the table to the time we finished eating it took over 2 hours for service. We all had pasta. Fortunately we didn't have coffee because I think we would have had to add an extra hour. There is no organization in this restaurant and the waiter can pass by you 15 times without even trying to be interested in you. I specified when ordering that I was allergic to gluten and dairy and asked specifically if the Bolognese sauce contained gluten and the server assured me that there was no gluten in it. the sauce. Ok I trusted but I quickly regretted it. I was immediately ill and it took me several days to recover. It's a shame. I don't think the servers are even trained on food allergies.
Plus the bolognese was really not good. There were no spices and I couldn't see the meat because there was so little of it. The worst bolognese I've ever eaten and I was sick too.
The waiter offered us a carafe of still water without obviously specifying that it was a very small carafe which would cost CHF 4.00. The prices are overrated and the food isn't even good.
Very nice grotto, our son has celiac disease and was able to choose ANY dish that was specially prepared gluten-free, even the dessert worked. The food was very good, the portions were large. At the beginning there was a nice greeting from the kitchen. We found the dessert cart at the end to be a highlight; we haven't experienced that in a long time. Friendly service
Impeccable service by Rafael. His attentiveness to our table was wonderful. A gluten free diner felt completely taken care of. Warm smile and presence to our needs was great. Don’t miss this fabulous restaurant and ask for Rafael… you won’t be dissuaded!
A great falafel place. All of their plates are gluten free except for one option. The plates come with a lot of food and are very filling. I got a falafel plate and it was delicious. Tons of salad greens and chutneys. Very flavorful and crunchy falafel.
Excellent experience. We are Lebanese and I can tell you that the cuisine there is truly authentic. We rediscovered the flavors of Lebanon. Everything was really delicious, the service efficient and friendly. At the start of the meal, I ordered a drink that the waiter forgot to bring me, he brought it back to me at the end telling me that it was on the house. We really appreciated this commercial gesture. The dishes are very generous. We found the quality/price ratio to be very reasonable. Lebanese cuisine obliges, there are many vegan and gluten-free dishes. Perhaps it would be nice to offer gluten-free bread. This is the only small detail to note. We will come back without hesitation.
The anticipation was high. I found an old and poorly maintained place, devoid of any charm or character, where only the facade is historic. Medium quality pastries. Almost nothing gluten-free, unacceptable given the fame. Good tasting hot chocolate, very liquid but good. Slow service. Truly disconcerting. To never again.
Here the guest eats very well and the offering is wide-ranging. It also has gluten-free pasta in its selection and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Gladly again and best regards
Peter
The pizza in the establishment is good, the usual price is 15-20 francs, in principle, like in most establishments in Fribourg, you can go in for the pizza. There are no issues with alcohol either. I didn’t like the pasta; we ordered classic Bolognese and gluten-free vegetarian pasta with tomatoes. But the reason why I gave so few stars is that at the end they asked us 33 Francs for 3 liter bottles of water (we were sitting in a large group) (ordinary water drawn from the tap, not sealed). Nobody warned about this, of course, no one would have ordered it for that price, in the end they simply presented it with a fact.
Always a pleasure to go there! There's something for everyone (vegetarian, gluten free, halal, etc.) - the menu is very varied; they offer very good salads, Mediterranean dishes, pizzas, pastas...
The restaurant is located in a beautiful old villa. It's 100% celiac friendly (I am celiac and they explained me that they are very strict since the daughter of the owner is celiac). Everything is daily freshly homemade. They have a weekly menu with vegetarian or meat options (also vegan or any other allergies are considered). It's an amazing anatolian mediterranean cuisine. The staff is sooooo lovely and you really feel like home🤍
We had an incredible experience here at Olivo. All 8 in our party opted for the tasting menu, and it did not disappoint. Every course was amazing and SO beautifully presented! Two in our group are gluten free and one has a shellfish allergy, and they were able to accommodate them with some slight tweaks to the dishes. The service was also incredible, I highly recommend it.
They make gluten-free pasta (RUMO brand) with a supplement of €2. The staff know how to make the pasta and sauce to make it 100% gluten free. There are other gluten-free dishes on the menu. On this side everything is correct. As for the quality of the food, the pasta is on point, but nothing spectacular for the price you pay (the same comment applies to the pasta with gluten). Also, I ordered “frutti di mare” sauce and the mussels and clams had grit. The right service.
We went to this restaurant as we saw a review, which said that they serve the best gluten free pizza in Geneva. We were not disappointed. Great gluten free and gluten pizza. They were friendly and welcoming.
