This place is the real deal! My gf and I have eaten here twice in one day. Everything on the menu is delicious and the service is fantastic. Huge portions too. They are also very celiac friendly and I always feel safe when I eat here. Favorite restaurant in Knoxville!
I love this place. And maybe my review will change next time I visit. The cashier rolled her eyes when my aunt who has celiac asked about menu items. I had told her how friendly this place was. Oops. Then it just seemed like no one was happy that day. Food was okay. Off day I guess. I will go back because I know it's a good place to eat.

My Girlfriend and I went to the Olive Garden. I wanted to write a little review of the Famous Olive Garden. Olive Garden has been around for years, almost as long as I have know. When I was younger, I never understood the Olive Garden salad but I love the Breadsticks. It took time all these years later, the Breadsticks are still good but the Famous House Salad is absolutely wonderful. I wish that I could go to OG just for the Salad alone. The Homemade Soups are Chicken & Gnocchi, Pasta e Fagioli, Minestrone & Zuppa Toscana. The Dipping Sauces are marinara, homemade alfredo or five cheese marinara. There are Gluten Free options and there is a Kids Menu. Also, Olive Garden offers Catering too. Flipside -> The Lasagna Frites are not that good, I was very disappointed. Their restaurant is clean, plenty of parking, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are friendly & helpful.
I have loved this place a long time. I now have a severe reaction to dairy among with gluten and red meat and this kind of food is one of the few options I can actually eat and well... you have no sauces that are inclusive. They all have dairy minus tahini and let's be real.. it's not the sauce you want on your chicken. There's not when an option for plain mayo. It would be inclusive to have a garlic sauce that everyone can eat. Lots of other places don't use dairy.
This location is extremely celiac friendly! When I mentioned I had celiac disease, Carolyn at the counter immediately changed gloves and washed her hands. She also told the other people working down the line to as well. Masterclass in customer service!
Food is very delicious, especially offering gluten-free alternatives! There are tons of options and very informative when you're unsure what to try next! Staff was wonderful and knowledge, which was helpful! Good portions as well! I'm excited for family to try my leftovers since we all love trying some good Foodie spots
Fantastic dining here! We had a fabulous waitress named Kate, who was very knowledgeable of the menu and what was gluten free (I am celiac). We had the cocktail flight (chose the house margarita, house mojito and house punch), hummus, spicy feta, salmon, short rib, Greek salad, chicken and the cheesecake dessert. FAB🙌🏼 Highly recommend this place. Ambiance and music is wonderful.
Mia is a gem! I have never received service like she provided me on Flag Day. I am allergic to 95% of all foods but I really like lamb. So I asked her about getting a gyro without the bread, onions, tomatoes, and other foods. She recommended a deconstructed gyro and we went through the ingredients. It was not busy so she spent time helping me. While I was waiting for my food, she came to my table with a menu and explained more of what I could order, what was vegan, and what was gluten free. I do not remember ever having service like that! I am an old crusty retired Air Force First Sergeant. Mia is the kind of person who would make a great troop! Caring, detailed, and very pleasant. She alone just made a regular customer out of me. I told my wife about my experience. Next week, she wants to try your restaurant. Please let Mia know she made an old man's day! Please thank her for me.
Schwarma was the best I had at a Mediterranean restaurant and our server was knowledgeable about what I should avoid on the menu for my gluten intolerance.
The menu is labeled falsely in regards to allergens. Many items are marked vegan and gluten free, but are full of both allergens. One of the staff members/ cooks was a very kind and understanding lady. She was the highlight of the visit. However, the cashier was very rude and did not care about the important discrepancy. I would recommend that others with food allergies, like myself, avoid Tazikis.
