Amazing place worth visiting. Pleasantly surprised with how many gluten free options they have. Food is delicious, couldn't make up our minds what to choose because there are so many amazing dishes. Owners are such lovely people, made us feel very welcome. My partner bought a bottle of Palinka after trying it here. That's great that you can buy it in Paprika. If we ever have another chance to stop by, we definitely will.
We arrived before our 8:30 booking and were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table. The restaurant, a converted house, had décor and an aesthetic that made you feel as though you were in an authentic Italian trattoria.
Our drinks arrived quickly, followed by our starters — the garlic mushrooms and prawns were both fantastic. For the main course, my partner had gluten-free pasta with a generous serving of prawns; there were plenty of gluten-free options available too. My lasagne was homemade, piping hot, and tasted amazing. The garlic bread was also a very reasonable size.
We finished with a trio of cheesecakes, all of which were homemade and delicious.
Final thoughts: 10/10 — I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The waitress was also lovely and clearly very knowledgeable.
Great place for breakfast and coffee. For our group we ordered the French toast, the shakshuka, the full breakfast, and Turkish eggs - everything was very good. We also got a chocolate brownie and a chocolate cake, both gluten free, and they were moist, rich and delicious.
