My friend and I came here awhile back to try to gluten free churros and were very impressed! Super cute atmosphere and fun place to hang out for a bit.
Ordered a Gluten-Free crust as I have a strong gluten allergy - not it. Tough, dense cardboard :( The toppings were phenomenal so it's such a bummer that the crust ruined it.
Happy Hour specials, yes please! The Pineapple Bar aka Pineapple Hill Saloon is a local LA Valley favorite with neighborhood friendly meets dive bar glam. The inside is very homey and rustic and the outside patio has been an awesome addition with covered section, lamps, lights, plants, tables and chairs (well spaced out) and a few monitors outside for sports games, events and Pineapple Hill channel favs.
They have excellent service, a welcome staff and very good eats, including some vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. There's more parking than you can imagine and quality cocktails, craft beer variety and wine as well.
Stop by for Trivia Tuesdays and other fun events monthly or just for a good time.
I am not gluten intolerant but my boyfriend is and I took him here anyway (worst gf ever) thinking I would have the seafood spaghetti all to myself because it is to DIE for , and he can figure something else out . Turns out almost all the pastas on the menu are gluten free & how that is possible Iβll never know . It is the best tasting pasta . I just canβt believe it . I live in NY & dream of this place . FIVE STARS food & service
Mulberry Street Pizza has been my favorite pizza since I was a child ans my dad introduced me to it in Encino CA. they then opened up one in Sherman Oaks and now I live walking distance from this location. I just recently came and got a pepperoni and sliced meatball pizza and I think I may have a new favorite aside from classic pepperoni. They even now.habe gluten free option and vegan options which accommodates my wife's dietary sensitivities, which I definitely tried then definitely finished haha. Just a wonderful New York Style pizza place that serves Hungry Man sized pizza slides and reminds me of a mom a pop type pizza shop. Looking forward to when I can eat inside again with my wife and new daughter (as soon as she can eat pizza!)
We've been to On the Thirty a number of times and have never been disappointed with what we were served, or the service. I'm a big fan of the Fig on Fire pizza which is sweet, filling, topped with greens and a super unique pizza treat. My wife also got the gluten free crust version and dug it. I also treated myself to the Que Rico from the "Frosty Drinks" menu....Mezcal (think smokey tequila) mixed with vanilla liquor, bitters, brown sugar, lime and mint. Yum!
There is plenty for vegetarians to enjoy here too, truffle fries, mac and cheese, fried cauliflower, Brussels (which are vegan and delicious), a couple other pizzas and salads. This is a great, comfortable spot for a delicious meal for any diet and drinks.
My friend and I had a blast at Casa Vega. The atmosphere is lovely and upbeat. We got serenaded at our table by a live performer, which added to the experience. The food was good, not great. I ordered the Casa Vega bowl with steak, and my friend got the spinach enchiladas. There were plenty of gluten-free options, and the restaurant was safe with cross contamination. Be sure to make a reservation in advance. Overall, a fun night living out our Kardashian dreams!
Visited last minute on a Tuesday night. Very busy which surprised me, to add to the excitement superb ambiance.
Love the dim lights and the best part was an available gluten free menu.
The staff made sure to communicate with the manager and chef.ππ½
Highly recommend:
the pear & Brie pizza.
shrimp ceviche

And to top it off the double chocolate cake ππ½
Really excited to come back and visit. Thank you.
Such a wonderful experience! incredible server who helped two of us who were gluten free make sure our order was safe for us. She even took a family picture for us outside the restaurant. Hope we can go back again before we leave LA area!
This is a really nice place. The staff are very much ok the ball. We were a part of a large group and they didn't have any trouble. They have a great room in the back for such parties, which we were very thankful to see, because it let us hear one another without the extra noise from the rest of the place.
The food was tasty, but for someone who cannot eat gluten it was limited. Quite limited. I had the burger without the bun and it was very delicious.
I would recommend this place, but be prepared for fewer choices of you have dietary issues. It's still worth a trip.
